When my case started, I was in a terrible place. My son was being abused and his father was blocking me from getting him medical care and mental health treatment from my husbands abusive behavior and alcoholism. I had been separated for a long time and filed for divorce once on my own but my husband wouldn’t give me the information I needed to finalize so the case was dismissed. I was hopeless and lost. I talked to Billie and she immediately knew what to do. Using the medical records we got an order of Protection. And emergency orders. Now I could get my son treatment and his dad couldn’t touch him or see him. We used sober link and supervised visits. We worked with a counselor. I got more child support than ever. This was the scariest time in my life and modern law handled it. It wasn’t fast but it was safe and they made it easy. The best part was in trial. You should have seen my ex’s face when Billie was cross examining him. She made him look so bad and exposed him for the jerk he is. I have never felt so protected or understood. My kids and I are doing better than ever. Billie, Jen, Caitlin and everyone at modern law truly changed my life and I and my kids are forever grateful. ❤️❤️❤️

I am at the beginning of a long dreadful and what I felt like was a very complicated case to me. My attorney in just a couple visits and communication has changed my perspective on how I look at this challenging important matter. He let me know that there is an end in sight and my case is very typical and they deal with Similar cases everyday. I realized the reality and simplicity of my situation BECAUSE they took on our family court case. I can't literally wait for this to be put behind us but as my other attorney, Billie T. said that she believed that there is a great chance to have a good resolution. And I have been planning to have her and her law firm and team represent me for five years now. My first consult was after trial. Billie was simply honest with her answer and straight up gave me nothing but legal advice and FACTS. I consulted with several firms and attorneys... none were fit or right for my case because they made my case out to be as if it were impossible. (Which it is and was a high conflict case unfortunately) 2020 AND Finally a light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the Modern Law team I have worked with thus far. Modern Law is the best law firm hands down and I would highly recommend them over anyone else. I have spent 8 years fighting for my son and have been represented by 2 attorneys at Modern Law. They all have their specialties, what they excel at, and have been instrumental in my obtaining equal parenting time with my son. Billie Tarascio and Darin Colburn are the attorneys I have had the pleasure of working with. Billie handled my out of state parenting plan like a true professional and was able to get me more weeks than is typical, and I can’t thank her enough for that. Darin handled my equal parenting plan upon my return to Arizona and was calm, cool and collected and able to help me stay that way as well. Not A good experience. My accident was in June, I didn't hear anything from them till December when I completed Physical Therapy. They said they would request my records from the doctor and didn't. I've been calling at least every 2 weeks since. The paralegal working on my case was let go and now they are saying they need to request medical records again and basically everything the paralegal said he did they need to do it again. I have no idea how much longer it's going to take to hear back from them again but im ready to get a second opinion since my case is low priority to them . People are right about the no communication part

Mr. Everts represented me in a very difficult divorce about 10 years ago. It involved AZ law, International law, and another State's law for a prenup. He was able to maneuver through all of it succinctly and accurately. Highly qualified and I was in very good hands in my representation. I do not believe my divorce would have handled as well if I hired another lawyer, as he truly researched and figured out all the aspects of this complicated case.

I hired Mr everts to be my attorney for a divorce modification child support, & custody. long story short he didn't catch something and something they told me all along they would do could no longer be done because I had not done my paperwork incorrectly. He was hired as my attorney and even had me correct the child support worrsheet but blamed me for his error in not catching it. I did file a complaint with the AZ STATE Bar and because this was a mistake I was advised to look for a legalmalpractice lawyer because he cost my son close to $35,000 in back child support that we could not get because he made a mistake not me. I will be building a webpage to post my story, in the end at my child support pre hearing with my x attorney in the room, and the end my x first words out of his mouth where him thanking my attorney. Justice was not served and this momma is on fire with what he put us though. My son is special needs and he did not advocate for me for him like he was hired to do so. DO not hire them!

I have used Glenn for a few years ... yes, years.
I am a single father to an only child and my ex and I have equal custody; but as these things go, as she has aged and life has become more about power and control (and gasp, money), I found myself increasingly defending myself against frivolous claims ... not wanting to lawyer-up for simple paperwork, I'd prepare all of my own documents and then use the one-hour consulting offer from Glenn to make sure I wasn't going to make a bad mistake.
After a couple of years, and dealing with an onslaught of legal filings, I bit the bullet and decided to go the "retainer" route with Glenn and his practice ... figured it was worth the cost to make all of the aggravation and emotions someone else's problem.
It was well worth it as I was able to relax knowing I had someone very professional, experienced and competent taking care of everything for me ... I can't say I "won" but I certainly didn't lose and my life (and my child's) are so much better with all of this behind us ... and all of this is because I trusted Glenn and his firm.
We have two more years until my child turns 18, and while I hope I never have to see Glenn again, I won't hesitate retaining him again if ever I find the need!
