I am a Senior and am a bladder cancer survivor. Because of my treatment I have very little time when nature calls. I was speeding on the freeway in an attempt to make the next exit. The police officer had little understanding and I was give a citation for a significant amount over the speed limit. I contacted Katz Law and received an IMMEDIATE response. Caleb said "not-to-worry" and he and his team went to work on my behalf. Everything was handled in such a professional manner and the final resolution was in my favor. Katz Law IS THE BEST and they did exactly as was promised. Not good, but GREAT!

As a business professional, I have required legal services for countless situations over my lifetime. Mostly for normal business dealings, though a few were more adversarial in nature. In either case, selecting the best attorney for the situation is obviously important. When our family was faced with a situation involving a family member being falsely accused, I found myself out of my element as family law was an area I had never needed to explore. I did know however, not having the best attorney in this particular case would mean a devastating outcome and a tarnished record that would haunt us for a very long time.
My vast and extensive research brought our family to Usow Law and thank goodness it did. Simply put, Jody Usow is an extraordinary attorney in every way. From the beginning, she was great at managing the expectations, the process and our family. Even though our emotions and frustrations would sometimes run wild due to the unjust accusations, Jody always managed to recenter us and focus on the law and her plan to succeed.
Jody's experience and overall strategy in dealing with the opposition was brilliant. I was very impressed with her proactive tactics that set the stage for a favorable outcome. Watching Jody in the courtroom was a sight to behold. Measured and mild-mannered up until the petitioner's testimony became clearly disingenuous, and the lion was unleashed. In this day and age when we have so little accountability, it was thrilling to watch a dishonest person eviscerated on the witness stand during cross-examination due to their lack of integrity and vengeful actions. Needless to say, Jody was so compelling in the courtroom that the case was dismissed without her client (our side) ever needing to testify. Jody brought this 4-month nightmare our family was living, to an end!

I initially hired Jody to assist with a temporary restraining order case I was facing where my child’s mother over exaggerated an argument and lied to police to get the TRO. Jody stepped in last minute literally the day before, heard my story, met me at court and represented me for the hearing. The TRO was granted but Jody being the realist she is, let me know going into the hearing that it would likely be granted and why. Even then I appreciated her honesty and willingness to represent me on such short notice. After the TRO hearing my child’s mother decided she did not want me to see him so I continued to work with Jody with the goal of getting 50/50 custody and placement. Jody has proven to be a beast in the court room at every hearing we’ve had. She is very professional, down to earth, respected by the court and she knows her stuff! Her assistant Nick is just as awesome! We all worked together to accomplish the end goal and they were both very professional, nonjudgmental, and willing to educate me every step of the way. Nick even took the time to call and find out officers were in office, and ride his bicycle to the district to serve them for a court hearing the next day because they had not been able to be reached or served. I enjoyed working with Jody and her staff especially with this all being new to me, she would always answer my very long emails or phone calls in a timely manner, she worked with my family members/friends who were helping me with testifying or confirming information, and she understood how important it was to me to be apart of my sons life and have him be apart of my family and his siblings lives. She took time to educate me on what was happening throughout the entire custody battle and was patient with me when I did not do my part in a timely manner. At the end of my case, I got everything I wanted 50/50 placement and custody, even with the mother having representation and even with the TRO in place- which was a blessing in disguise because Jody fought for the mother and I to have court ordered communication through Our Family wizard where everything is documented for lawyers or the court to be able to access with no way for parents to delete information. Jody has been a huge blessing to me and my family and was worth every penny! Even after my case closed she followed up, gave me great advice and encouraged me to reach out to her if needed. I highly highly recommend and she will be the first name I give to anyone going through any family court disputes.

I was referred to Frank after needing to change my family court representation mid custody case because I was very displeased with my first attorney. He was simply amazing. Very knowledgable attorney who knows how to strategize extremely well. One thing that stood out the most to me was that he was always polite to the opposing attorney and my ex despite his attorney's very rude attitude in response. His assistant Kristin is a wonderful addition as well and the two complement each other in their thoughts and approaches extremely well. I was beyond grateful that he was willing to take on my difficult case when we were already knee deep into it and he managed to assist me in getting an outcome that was beneficial, something my previous attorney was not doing. I was called to a deposition by the opposing attorney and my previous attorney did not prepare me at all and I was terrified. Fortunately the initial date had to be postponed and I had hired Frank before the new date. He and Kristin both made sure I was beyond prepared for what to expect and exactly what to do and what not to do that I was no longer nervous when the day arrived. I would absolutely recommend him, and have done so numerous times since, to anyone who has been looking for a family court attorney.

Attorney Bandle made a difficult time easier to navigate with her professionalism and experience. She was always easy to reach with questions and concerns. Christie made working through my divorce as easy as possible. She didn't waste my time or money, but gave me helpful guidance through the process. I appreciated her efficiency and thoughtful help as we worked through my divorce. She explained all the steps that we had to take in a way that was easy to understand. She was responsive to my needs and followed my instructions, except when she could explain a good reason for another course. I believe that her goal was to help me get through my divorce while meeting my needs. Her approach was personalized for me and I feel well served by her.
Divorce is an awful mess, but Christie was a great asset in the process. I recommend her very highly.

It is now about 10 years since Attorney Steiner handled a divorce and custody case for our family. Without her thorough knowledge of legal theory and unwavering pursuit of pertinent evidence a child's life would have been subjected to very unfortunate circumstances. She made us feel that our case was the most important matter she was handling. She has a relationship with the court and related legal entities that give her an advantage over her opponents. She doesn't recognize the words "giving in" and has only one goal, to win.

Attorney Ortman Miller is a sensible, knowledgeable, fair, tough and responsive lawyer. She successfully managed two of my cases (divorce & child custody) simultaneously and the outcomes were in my favor. I had utilized two attorneys prior to retaining her and both were huge disappointments! She took over each case and was able to resolve several issues in one month that the previous attorneys were unable to do over a three year period. I highly recommend this attorney. As of a matter of fact I did and that case ended within a four month period and was successful as well. She was worth every penny!

I was charged with my 2nd OWI back in 2021. John handled my case for 3 years. It took a year for my trial/hearing for the first ticket I was issued. John fought non stop to have my case dismissed due to lack of evidence, and witnesses. The case was indeed dismissed w/out prejudice. The ADA a few days later reissued my ticket. John did not hesitate to continuing handling this matter, and yet again fought endlessly to have this case dismissed due to lack of evidence and witnesses. John was very thorough and caring during this matter, due to myself also going through a serious DV Trial which was the reason for my “OWI.” John worked diligently on my case until yet again, it was finally dismissed with prejudice. John also helped me in navigating how to have this removed from my criminal record/fingerprints. He shared all evidence/information with me, kept me updated, along with always being available to call, text, email. I highly recommend John and his law office, he will fight for you! You’re a rockstar, John, thank you!!

Got a speeding ticket going 28 over in 70 zone. Got it reduced charge so no mandatory suspension. It was obvious this law office specialized in traffic offenses, Mike, john brother, was quick to reply to communications and Jorden kept me updated throughout the process. Called to speak with a attorney and the representative ask what for and I told them for debt settlement then he says they don’t do that which states on their website that they offer services for that not only the website proves they offer when you call their automated phone system it also says they offer Debt settlement services, then I told the representative that and he puts me on hold then 2 seconds later he goes “oh yeah our website is out dated” like that doesn’t make any sense… WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL AS THEY DON’T CARE TO HELP!!!!!!

Ann Rothstein isn't afraid to walk out of your situation with new enemies. We sat and fought in the mediation of my divorce and placement for hours until we walked out with almost 50% placement and no child support order. Not being from the area, I interviewed multiple lawyers trying to find the right lawyer to take on my daughters divorce and child custody case. My first conversation with her set her apart from all others as she talked to me herself for quite sometime to get details this is before she was ever hired. She gave me great specific and honest facts about Wisconsin laws, what we were facing and how we would need to approach the case. We hired her and she jumped right in, was available anytime. This is something very rare in a lawyer. She is one of a kind. I found her to be great in and out of the courtroom. She guided us to a relatively quick divorce with equal shared custody and placement. This was not an easy case, but she made it happen. Also, as for her as a person, she is just like family. She is so caring and truly has been there for us and with us. We just love her as a lawyer and a friend.
