Mr. Randy Medina was very professional and really knowable in regards to child custody and moving orders. He was very detailed in explaining what could happen if the decision was to go one way or the other. He made sure we understood what we were getting ourselves into.
One of the biggest attributes we loved from Randy was his research of the many previous cases that has happened and utilizing those examples to your specific case. During our court hearing for our final decision, we loved that he walked us through our stressful experience and really explained why this process would be best for our case. We actually learned a lot from him during our moving order.
We would like to thank Mr. Randy Medina and his team for working with us and fighting for our family to relocate. We highly recommend him and his team.

When I was facing a nasty divorce and child-custody battle, I did a lot of online research and discovered that Gary Kearney was the most respected family-law attorney in the Pasadena area, highly rated by clients and peers alike. I retained him immediately after a brief consultation interview. Over the next couple of years, Mr. Kearney helped me not only to resolve the divorce to my satisfaction but also to combat my ex's attempts to stall, complicate, hinder, and vex the custody case over my son. Thanks to Mr. Kearney and his team's efforts, today I have 80% custody of my 14-year-old son and I'm very happy with the divorce settlement.
In terms of demeanor, Kearney is extremely professional, poised, calm, and caring, and he was also very patient in answering my barrage of questions. Phil Marr provided me with excellent help and advice during what was a very difficult divorce case. Unlike other attorneys nearby, I felt that Phil truly cared about my situation and helped me understand the complexities of my case. Phil was very responsive throughout the whole process, and I never had to wait for an email response or call back.
I felt that being a family man himself, Phil truly understood and fought for the "best interest of the children". Shanon Quinley just finished my two year divorce process. I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for Brett Johnston, Esq.
Before I was referred to Brett, I had the unfortunate experiences of three other family law attorneys.
They took thousands of dollars in fees, but literally did nothing to move my case forward. I was discouraged and scared. My former spouse is an attorney and was using all the tools at his disposal to ruin me financially. I had no more money, my credit was destroyed and I had about given up any hope of a fair settlement.
When I explained my situation to Brett, he was incensed. He told me he would help me and he did.
Finally I had a true advocate. He took charge, moved the case forward and has helped me recoup some of the funds taken from me. Brett has always been responsive and pleasant.
During our time working together he became certified in family law. When he talks, other attorneys and judges listen. He is very good at what he does.
Having to spend time in the family courts is a nightmare for anyone. If you are fortunate to have Brett on your side, your nightmare might be only a short, bad dream.

Tried to get a phone to call to see if I could hire or see if we would be a good fit. Just wanted to charge $375 for initial consult. I asked if that would go towards retainer and clerk did not know. I was offered email with info that’s generic? Then she said best of luck and have a great day? Not really the type of server I was expecting.
I did not necessarily want to speak with attorney just yet. A paralegal would have been fine. Was willing to sign a retainer so long it was worth pursuing.
Not the best way to sale the firm services.

DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!. Mr. Schweitzer handed off my case to a junior attorney, Brooke Mulligan, and she proved to be completely incompetent. When I asked to have her removed from my case after making multiple major mistakes, he said he would oversee my case more personally. She continued to make constant costly and time consuming mistakes and actually argued with me twice, once in front of Don, regarding a subpoena that she served to the wrong entity twice and was going to serve incorrectly for the third time. When I again asked to have her removed, Don didn’t even have the professionalism to respond, but while I waited to hear from him, they continued to bill me until they conveniently used up all of my retainer. He never did have the courtesy to respond to me and make an effort to correct their mistakes. Divorce is bad enough but there is nothing worse than having an attorney who is not on your side. Brooke and Don, you know what you did, my file and emails prove it. You should be ashamed.
