Mr. Ducote jumped to my divorce case quickly. He is very professional and confident. Ready to fight for you. His team is very supportive as well. They helped me with little pain as possible to divorce successfully. The divorce decree and all legal paperwork were very official and legally strong. Mr. Ducote and his team have a lot of knowledge in legal field. You definitely can rely on this lawyer and his team. They will do their best for you. At the same time, expect that good legal support will cost appropriately. There is a required time to go through your case, so it won't be done as fast as you want. I contacted and retained Jeremy with The Love DuCote law firm as my attorney. I was going through a divorce and facing a Protective Order against me , yet myself having been the one that was assaulted by my wife at the time. She was actually arrested and charged with Family Violence with Bodily injury Misdemeanor.
When I explain my situation, he knew right away how we were going to fight this. He was able to get the protective order against me denied and granted divorce-disposed. I was being falsely accused and the protective order could have jeopardized many things for me, yet he helped my fight back resulting in a great outcome. Mr. Ducote was my court appointed attorney. I went into his office very emotional because I was being sued by my ex-husband. I knew that I couldn’t afford a lawyer of his caliber but Mr. Ducote took the time to listen to my ramblings and reassured me that I would be ok. In the end, I didn’t go to court because Mr. Ducote convinced my ex to drop the case. He and everyone in his office were very professional and always treated me with respect. He was a blessing.

The Pinak Law Firm is the best law firm you can hire for any type of divorce! I was having so many issues with a previous lawyer that when I was recommended to The Pinak Law Firm I wished I would have found them sooner. They have so much experience, they made sure to get everything done for me. I did not have to attend court at all, and did not have to stress about any paperwork what so ever. First of all, I am embarrassed to say how much money was spent for nothing, had no idea what I was doing and like an idiot I trusted Cannon law to actually help me after filing.
Cannon law took advantage of my depression and fear of losing my daughter, I can't believe these people are in charge of family law. Luckily I was able to fire Yoka in time before my verbal decree expired after being ignored for a month.
That's right, ignored. Don't believe these fake reviews. Magically the final bill after firing Yoka totaled the amount of my savings account. Cannon law is a billing company, they pretend to do back and forth and then send ridiculous bills. Instead of being emotional I will just state facts below.
- If you notice multiple filings being created and nothing done to stop it, fire them immediately.
- If a month of silence goes by with no update then a huge bill comes in showing back and forth with no progress, fire them.
- A restraining order was filed without my permission, I found out 3 months later after the serving. My ex thought I did this. The entire family pooled there money together to outfund me.
- Yoka filied a interim fees to help me but then made a deal with the other lawyer and passed without my permission.
- Cannon law hired an home appraiser James Hammond, he compared my 2200 square ft house to 3k square ft houses in a different subdivision increasing my debt. Making me owe more to my ex.
- I cc Lennea and should could care less, no response.
-My verbal decree was spoken into record on May 17th my first redline update was Aug 8th.
-When I started coping everyone in the law firm I didn't get any reply for a month and a half.
-During two different mediations I was told let my daughter move to CA and keep everything or loose everything, nothing was escallated. Yoka said “You are a bear caught in a trap, you can make the money back”
-I was charged man hours for tracing my savings acount, proof of seperate property. To find out later the judge will give to my ex.
-During the second mediation Yoka said “You might as well give me the rest of your savings account because the judge will give it to your ex”

Yasmine and Debbie represented me in my child custody case against my former spouse last year. Yasmine represented me fiercely in the courtroom and Debbie is an outmatched paralegal who exude professionalism. I was most impressed with Debbie's high level of communication regarding my case.
