I recently found myself in the middle of a "gray" divorce. 70 years old, married for 13 years to a woman that turned on me. I decided to represent myself in court, defending my pension, Social Security, health care, non marital assets, bank accounts and such. It didn't take long for me to realize I needed a professional consultation as her attorney's proposal was outrageous and would ruin me financially for the rest of my life.
Karen's name was highly recommended by a close friend. A quick email to her office and I scheduled a consultation.
I'm a good judge of people and immediately knew she was the person I wanted representing me. No nonsense or small talk. Straight to the point. Professional and knows the law. I knew she had my back.
Once the dust settled, I was able to keep 90% of what I worked my entire life for. To say I am happy with her service would be an understatement.

Attorney Gersten is a top divorce attorney in the area. She did an amazing job and what seemed to be impossible to me a year ago. I went through a very difficult divorce. Before hiring attorney Gersten I interviewed 4 other attorneys and I am glad I chose Karen. She is very efficient and has fair charges and accounting of hours practice. Karen is very knowledgeable and well respected in the court. She always fights to protect interests of her clients, while open to settlement without unnecessary trials if her clients are satisfied with outcome. If presented with challenge, Karen is open to face it without hesitation and do research of precedents to be used in the court. Karen is always confident and has genuine care for her clients. She always comes to the court prepared and ready to protect your interests. Karen is working hard to make sure she provides high quality service. I wish I could give Karen more than 5 starts.

Susan is not only very knowledgeable about the legalities of divorce, she is one of a kind in my book! She knows the laws and how they all applied to my case.
She always came out on top when we went to court. She was able to represent me in the utmost professional manner as well as what was best for myself and my children.
She also is very aware of the high emotions regarding separation, divorce and custody issues. She knows how to deal with the both parties that are involved, as well as the opposing lawyer!
No matter when I called her, I would receive a call back that day. I knew she would always have the answer to any of my questions.
She taught me how I could keep my perspective and stay balanced during these trying times. I now have incorporated these life skills into my daily life.

I highly recommend Attorney Mogel! I have hired him several times over the past nine years. Greg is an outstanding attorney and deserves 5 stars! He has compassion in his approach and will give rational advice to reduce the cost of your legal fees! He went out out of his way and drove to office just to meet me on 'snow days' when the entire town was shut down. From the time I hired Attorney Dumont and through the preliminary stages to the final award, she was caring, thorough, professional and supportive. She helped me get a restraining order in a domestic violence case. It was a complicated and upsetting situation and she was empathetic and emotionally reassuring. I was hesitant to spend money for an attorney because I was on a tight budget and was already spending a lot of money on other things such as an alarm system etc to feel safe. Also, my father was helping me as he had studied law so we questioned if it was necessary to have an attorney. I was very happy with our decision to hire her. She was generous with her time and she and her assistant were always readily available to help me. Attorney Dumont is experienced and knowledgeable. She made it a smooth process by helping me know exactly what to expect and by building a solid case. It is obvious Attorney Dumont puts her heart in her work and cares greatly about the work she is doing and the people with whom she is working. I was just recommending Atty Bozek to a friend and was shocked the see the reviews on this site. She acted as the guardian at litem for my step-daughter 11 years ago and was the most fantastic caring helpful attorney I have ever met. She helped our family but most of all she helped my daughter get out of a very hard situation and is a big reason that she is the strong, self-confident successful adult that she is today.
