Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC was great. They have excellent customer service, they were quick to respond any correspondence that my husband and I sent along with excellent follow through with all of the information that they needed. They worked hard for us and we had a very positive outcome with their support. Without their help we may not have had such a great outcome. We would not hesitate to use them again if needed.

I consulted him regarding termination pending in 72 H. He wrote a letter and saved me. I didn’t do anything wrong but couldn’t defend myself alone. Didn’t know how and what to say. I realised I was simply discriminated on multiple counts and was not aware of that. I wish I new him a decade ago.

I came to Michael during what can only be called the worst period of my life. Going through a divorce is hard enough but at the same time my daughter was being treated for cancer and there was a pandemic going on. He was always calm and clear and helped me to do the same, taking me step by step through what seemed like an unmanageable process. These never really end well for the people involved but I was able to come away with my dignity and confidence intact with his help.

Mike Scalzo helped me a bunch, he stayed late for me when my wife hesitated while signing the pre-nup. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because he took a lot of time off and it was hard to reach to reach him at times during my divorce case.

She is very responsive which is very rare with most attorneys. So, she created a Power of Attorney for me which is very specific and was time sensitive. I was impressed by her attention to detail and how she explained legal things that were new to me, made it easier to understand and educate me at the same time.
She is sincere and showed me that she cares for her client(s).
But the best thing was she was able to provide me with the revised/final POA in less than a day!!!

I would absolutely recommend Henry and the MKFM firm to all my friends and family. My case was a contested adoption and ended up also including a side appeal case as well. It was an extremely long and litigious case that required patience, expertise and attention to detail. We won our case handedly and we would not have without Henry's extensive knowledge in case law, brilliant trial composure and overall calm, composed and very confident demeanor. In fact, the Appellate court saw fit to have Henry's arguments entered into case law for future cases.

I came to Henry with a divorce case previously handled by another attorney that was extremely long, complicated, and for which there was no similar precedent. Add to that a change in the divorce law while in process, and the complexity magnified. I truly believe had it not been for Henry's intelligence, tenacity, deep understanding/amazing total recall of the law, and spirited desire to make things right, my outcome would have been financially and psychologically disastrous. I cannot say enough good things about Henry's skill, competence and patience, and would highly recommend Henry to anyone looking for an ethicial and upstanding attorney for the best possible legal outcome.

The best way to describe her is Shakespeare's character of ''Shylock'' in The Merchant of Venice. In 2024, I hired her for a DCFS hearing before an administrative judge and after collecting my hard earned money, she changed completely! As an Attorney she was supposed to carry out interviews prior to the hearing to help give my case a chance, but she didn't. During the hearing I was the one that brought one person to support me. My advice to anyone, DO NOT HIRE her, she will do TERRIBLE JOB!!!!

Alex Rothenberg served as the court-appointed GAL (Guardian ad Litem) in my case, and my experience with her was deeply troubling. Despite initially appearing engaged by asking questions and taking notes, she failed to address any of my concerns, displayed a clear bias toward my ex-wife, and accepted her statements as truth without requiring any supporting evidence.
Alex prematurely removed herself from the case, leaving critical issues unresolved and contributing to an outcome where my daughter has been denied fair and equal time with both parents. Her actions violated several key statutes and guidelines that GALs are required to follow in Illinois, including:
750 ILCS 5/506(a)(2): GALs must conduct an independent investigation, including interviews and a review of relevant documents, and provide an objective recommendation to the court. Alex failed to conduct a thorough investigation or verify evidence, instead relying on unchecked statements from my ex-wife.
Best Interest of the Child Standard (750 ILCS 5/602.7): GALs are required to prioritize the child’s well-being and ensure meaningful relationships with both parents unless there is clear evidence to the contrary. Alex’s biased and incomplete recommendations directly harmed my daughter’s ability to have a fair and balanced relationship with both parents.
Ethical Obligations of Attorneys and GALs: GALs are required to avoid personal bias, remain neutral, and act in a professional manner that serves the child’s best interests. Alex’s personal bias against me was evident and unprofessional, resulting in recommendations that prioritized her own prejudice over the needs of a 5-year-old child.
To make matters worse, Alex’s conduct was part of a broader pattern within her firm. Other members of her firm displayed similarly unethical behavior, including inflated billing practices, misrepresentations to the court, and a general failure to uphold professional standards.
Alex’s unprofessional and unethical behavior, combined with her failure to follow required statutes, caused irreparable harm to my daughter’s well-being. Her actions were not only a disservice to the court but also a direct violation of the trust placed in her to act in the best interests of the child.
Avoid Alex Rothenberg and her entire firm. Their lack of professionalism, integrity, and accountability makes them unfit for any legal matter, particularly those involving children.

I own my own business. My divorce was complicated because I wanted to keep my business, stay in the house, maximize my time with the kids and only pay what was legally required to my ex. Chuck got the job done promptly, and while the process was expensive it cost far less than it could have. This is the guy for your divorce. Great office staff too! The only real danger is that you don't hire him before your spouse retains him. I would definitely not want him on the other side of my case.

Gregory, showed compassion, interest and concern for the outcome of my requests as a victim of the broken legal system. I believe everyday he had my back professionally. I hired Greg while releasing my former attorney after a year of no progress and extreme unprofessionalism, who was also highly rated on attorney websites. After hiring Greg, my case started moving towards completion of my divorce and I had my decree in a few months. He acted with complete integrity and influenced me to exercise good judgment when I unwisely wanted to work on my case from the hospital. Greg also recovered some money from my former attorney, who the judge recommended that I pursue for disbarment. Lynn was the point person who sold me on the notion of using her and her firm for a large portion of my divorce. Admittedly, I bought fully into everything I heard in that initial conversation. After many, many months of what can only be described as one step forward, two steps back, I realized the sophomoric mistakes I had made. Once I found a different, suitable attorney and we built a relationship, I was asked: "What in the world did they actually do for you for $XX,XXX?" Not only was my case with her immediately handed off to an underling with near-zero experience, Lynn never once checked in with me to see if she could help get things moving again. I am not one to make these types of errors often and this was very costly, both financially and to the well-being of my children. She and her firm (father) seem to have built a tremendous name for themselves yet I have lived through a seemingly never ending experience that is a testament to the contrary. Continuance after continuance, deposition after deposition and sizable bills became the norm. There was even a time where I was being deposed and asked questions completely unrelated to anything at hand and the underling, my counsel, looked at me blankly and said nothing. In fact, my questions were rarely answered with anything concrete and reliable. In hindsight, a great many motions could have been handled differently which would have saved money, time and heartache. I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Great harm was done.

I recently had to switch from being represented by a different attorney to pro se. During my last hearing, the Judge gave me a list of my next steps & I was trying to write everything down as fast as possible. It was apparent I felt very overwhelmed at that moment as I walked away from the bench not sure where to turn first. The best way to describe her is Shakespeare's character of ''Shylock'' in The Merchant of Venice. In 2024, I hired her for a DCFS hearing before an administrative judge and after collecting my hard earned money, she changed completely! As an Attorney she was supposed to carry out interviews prior to the hearing to help give my case a chance, but she didn't. During the hearing I was the one that brought one person to support me. Alex Rothenberg served as the court-appointed GAL (Guardian ad Litem) in my case, and my experience with her was deeply troubling. Despite initially appearing engaged by asking questions and taking notes, she failed to address any of my concerns, displayed a clear bias toward my ex-wife, and accepted her statements as truth without requiring any supporting evidence.
Alex prematurely removed herself from the case, leaving critical issues unresolved and contributing to an outcome where my daughter has been denied fair and equal time with both parents. Her actions violated several key statutes and guidelines that GALs are required to follow in Illinois, including:
750 ILCS 5/506(a)(2): GALs must conduct an independent investigation, including interviews and a review of relevant documents, and provide an objective recommendation to the court. Alex failed to conduct a thorough investigation or verify evidence, instead relying on unchecked statements from my ex-wife.
Best Interest of the Child Standard (750 ILCS 5/602.7): GALs are required to prioritize the child’s well-being and ensure meaningful relationships with both parents unless there is clear evidence to the contrary. Alex’s biased and incomplete recommendations directly harmed my daughter’s ability to have a fair and balanced relationship with both parents.
Ethical Obligations of Attorneys and GALs: GALs are required to avoid personal bias, remain neutral, and act in a professional manner that serves the child’s best interests. Alex’s personal bias against me was evident and unprofessional, resulting in recommendations that prioritized her own prejudice over the needs of a 5-year-old child.
To make matters worse, Alex’s conduct was part of a broader pattern within her firm. Other members of her firm displayed similarly unethical behavior, including inflated billing practices, misrepresentations to the court, and a general failure to uphold professional standards.
Alex’s unprofessional and unethical behavior, combined with her failure to follow required statutes, caused irreparable harm to my daughter’s well-being. Her actions were not only a disservice to the court but also a direct violation of the trust placed in her to act in the best interests of the child.
Avoid Alex Rothenberg and her entire firm. Their lack of professionalism, integrity, and accountability makes them unfit for any legal matter, particularly those involving children.

Please do not use Andy. I never give reviews and I got divorced a long time ago but I have to let people know how bad this attorney is. Between my horrible experience and a friend of mine whose husband used Andy, he is just really bad at what he does. I was in a long term marriage and Andy was only able to get me a 2.5 year reviewable. If I was making any money, I can see how something like that could happen, but I was a stay at home mom for most of my marriage. Basically, I had to go through the financial and emotional burden of a court divorce twice. My new attorney was exceptional and did an amazing job. She was such an advocate and was able to undo much of what Andy allowed. It only emphasized just how bad Andy was. I highly recommend that you try someone else.

Mr Dvi is by far the best lawyer I have ever hired. I got caught driving on a revoked 2 times in less than a month he got 1 case thrown out and 40 days EM on the other one even with it being my 5th offense.
