I am so glad to have had Laura Thudium as an attorney as I entered the collaborative approach to a dissolution. She brought a network of professionals who have a depth of expertise to deal with the intricacies of sorting the end of a marriage. We were assisted by a financial advisor, a home loan facilitator, a pension fund expert, and a loan company versed in dissolution financing.
The legalities of a dissolution are deep and baffling. Laura was in constant contact while we worked through the process. I've known Laura since law school, and I refer my friends and family to her because she knows family law (particularly divorces and child custody) so well. She won an award in law school for doing the best of anyone on the family law exam. She has a thick skin and doesn't letter anything phase her in the courtroom, which is really what you need in a lawyer.

I have known Jimmy for a year now as he has handled all aspects of my divorce, one of the roughest I have experienced, winning the case with minimal damages at the end. He even keeps the other lawyer in check if they are on the opposing side, several times over the course of my divorce he swooped in like Zoro keeping things fair and professional. If you want to win the case or have minimal damages Jimmy is the lawyer to have in your corner. PERIOD!
I highly recommend if you are about to divorce hire Jimmy immediately don't hesitate. Very thorough and knows which way to advise you based on his many years of experience.

What can I not say about the guidance Jimmy provided me during my 4 year long debate/divorce. Things weren't going well in my marriage and a friend suggested I reach out to Jimmy and I did. We had previous history together, but not under these circumstances.
He invited me to his office and spent well over an hour with me explaining the entire process. Jimmy was patient, as I attempted to save my marriage time and time again, till I knew it wasn't going to work no matter what I did, as it takes 2 people to make a marriage work.
Jimmy offered to represent me and my interest and suggested for me to reach out to my wife to address all legal proceedings
to use him to cut out court and legal representation fees as much as possible. Jimmy's goal is wanting the best for both parties during this trying time in our lives. She chose her own counsel which is fine.
The thing that sticks out the most to me was his guidance throughout this process. Paraphrasing: "Tempers are going to flare and ugliness may come out at any point. You need to be in control of your response/reactions as best as you can, always! You only have one divorce and how will others remember it? It's important not only for you, but for your daughter. The both of you will be forever connected because of your daughter. Watch what you say and if you need to leave before you do something you'll regret, do it and call me, anytime. Your daughter and her mother will thank you when she gets older."
Jimmy represented me well throughout the entire process when I was unable to attend court on certain occasions. I would recommend Jimmy to friends, family and even strangers who want to have a great aid/advisor during a challenging time.
My divorce is complete and my Ex and I have a great respect for one another. We communicate regularly and openly as we put our differences aside and give our attention to our young daughter who needs both of her parents.

Mike is simply the best!! Prior to my initial meeting with Mr. Kaufman, I had discussed my situation with two other attorneys neither of which felt they could handle my case. Due to the difficulties of the case, they recommended I seek other counsel. In dealing with counsel on a different issue, Mr. Kaufman was highly recommended and I pursued making contact with him. While the divorce itself was an unpleasant experience, Mr. Kaufman was very thorough, compassionate, understanding, and made an exerted effort to protect my interests through his due diligence. This required spending much time understanding all the facts leading to the divorce which were quite convulated.. This also involved coordinating efforts with other legal counsel representing me on other issues related to these proceedings. The collabration, coordination, and communication between the legal counsel led to a determination with a favorable outcome in the divorce . I was very pleased with the communication and interaction with Mr. Kaufman throughout this process and would highly recommend him. I hired Dorothy for a fairly complex child custody case that was beyond the capabilities of another attorney that I had previously hired. Dorothy took the time to understand the issues, and when it came time for court she was extremely well organized and prepared. If you are in the unfortunate position of needing a family law attorney, hire Dorothy. She is not cheap, but you will get what you pay for.

Is been since August 2023. I choose this law firm for my daughter case in she hasn’t been paid her settlement just told they’re almost done at the finish line this has been the worst experience my 19 year old daughter could ever had with her first accident and law firm with BUCKEYE so if anyone is wondering if they should have these guy over here at BUCKEYE for their accident case might want to choose someone else. These people act like your case does not matter let alone exist. And if you don’t need your MONEY then she said 30 percent for doing nothing, not even answering her phone on time returning messages and calls emails nothing so that not happening so I’ll keep posting in letting you all know how this plays out for us am hoping this reaches someone that can hel Chole so we can be paid cause that all this is about getting paid for her trouble someone else cost her to have she lost her car. She get for her graduation a two days after her 19birthday she gets hit car totaled. I’ve worked with Corey Asay on an unpaid wages claim against my former employer. Hired Jessica to work on custody case . She Didn't take my case or children's well being into consideration she drafted monitions which she never filed . After months of her getting me no where I went and filed my own monitions getting my kids back by my self . oh and the biggest thing is she doesn't know Ohio laws pertaining to birth certificates . Michael handled my divorce-which was unfortunately contentious.
He is brilliant with all matters concerning finances, income, support, custody etc. I prevailed in all motions my ex filed of which there were several. I had a very vindictive pyschologically unbalanced ex with an equally vindictive lawyer.
His fees are very reasonable and the results are outstanding.
Beyond the above, he is a very friendly, patient, compassionate person who takes the time to explain the law and the glacial pace at which Hamilton County Domestic Relations court moves.

He did not do all the work promised: still waiting for quit claim deed to be drawn up and filed. Never sent me a copy of the final court decree.
