I used Halleh in my divorce and custody case. She is knowledgable and thoughtful in her counsel. I felt that she truly wanted the best for me. I retained Zach as my attorney as I was in a custody battle after my divorce. I had been going it alone for about six months and although I felt I had a good case, there is always the "what if" Many factors regarding my case brought me to Zach. I had relocated to another state, had a new job, paperwork to locate and file, many things had to be addressed and considered. It was overwhelming.
From the moment I made the decision to get help, I knew that Zach was the attorney to represent me. The initial conversations we had by phone were comfortable and productive. The fact that I was 1400 miles away and that I was placing my children's future and well being in someone's hands was scary at first but Zach, I felt, was the one that could get it done for me.
The biggest concern I had was that I had given him less than 3 months to prepare. In that short amount of time he compiled all the documents, filed all the paperwork, conducted the interviews with the witnesses. He did that and so much more. When we entered the courtroom I was confident and WE were prepared. In court Zach was direct, to the point and was able to "paint the picture" for the Magistrate. He asked the right questions of every witness called to the stand and when the proceeding was complete there was no "what if" left in my mind.
When the court made their decision and I received the call from Zach that we had won, I knew I had made the right call. I cannot express enough my gratitude, nor the respect I have for Zach. I put my trust in him and he delivered. I could not be more pleased.

Katherine is a fantastic attorney, and one I would recommend to anyone struggling with a family law issue. She doesn't waste time, she doesn't sugar-coat, and everyone in her office is pleasant to work with. She also returns calls and email very quickly, which I was very grateful for. Jennie was an extremely helpful attorney. I was in a very high conflict child custody case and Jennie did a great job at keeping me calm and helping me focus on the real matter at hand which was my son. I hired Spencer Kotnik to represent me in a disability lawsuit. Unfortunately, my experience with him was extremely negative. He seemed uninterested in my case and spent significant time rambling during our meetings. Despite multiple requests, he failed to improve his communication skills, which was particularly frustrating given my own disability. I no longer trusted Spencer or his firm, so I consulted with another Denver lawyer who took the time to review everything exchanged during the process. She encouraged me to ask Spencer specific questions, which he ignored until two days before my deadline. She agreed that he missed a few key points, was all over the place, and " his communication is not his strong point". Working with Spencer and his team left me stranded, frustrated, and unheard. I would not recommend their services to anyone, especially anyone with a disability.

In the extreme, sub-zero temperatures of January, my building lost heat, water, & was declared uninhabitable. My insurance company left me homeless, delaying coverage for shelter, food, and water for weeks- despite an approved catastrophe claim.
If it weren't for Dan Sloane at the Denver Trial Lawyers, I'm not sure how my story would've ended. His knowledge, advocacy, & humanity are the reason I have somewhere safe to sleep tonight.
There aren't words that could adequately express the enormity of his ethics & strength in practice, nor their impact on my life through this grave situation.

James Cordes provided terrible advice. His drafting was sloppy and required extensive redrafting by opposing counsel, and he advised me to take a terrible deal. Because of James, I am taking home a fraction of my income. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how bad it was until firing him and employing new counsel. He is a nice man, but a bad lawyer. I wish I had gotten a second opinion before it was too late.
