I had a lengthy property settlement & divorce. And it was because of her that we were able to keep it as amicable as possible. She first helped me through the Property Settlement. Followed by guiding me through the Divorce that followed. Patience was the key to my particular situation. But I know ifthe situation had called for more feistiness, she would have been right at my side for that, too. Everything is finalized now. And I know things would have been far worse and more stressful if I hadn't had her in my corner.
Everyone at NOVA Legal Professionals that I've spoken with is kind and knowledgeable. I spoke most often with Corrie and Brenda Membreno (paralegal). Separation and divorce are, by their nature, unpleasant and emotional situations. But they were amazing at helping that sometimes complicated situation feel less overwhelming.
She was the only attorney I have ever hired on my own, for any situation. But I did a lot of research before I did so and I read a lot of reviews. Her specialties and the other reviews seemed to say she'd be a good match for my situation. And the consultation I had with her confirmed that for me. Divorce lends itself to a lot of complicated feelings, but hiring her was never one I felt torn about. I'll always be grateful to her for helping me through this.

Corrie is an exceptional attorney. She is incredibly knowledgeable and prepares thoroughly, but is also personally a wonderful person to work with. Corrie was incredible to work with, you can believe everything they say on their website. She treated me and my divorce case with compassion, respect, understanding, and honesty. In my opinion, honesty shouldn't be understated in today's world. I happily settled in mediation. She was very well prepared for any eventuality that could come up. We used most of her preparation too. The opposing attorney wasn't as well prepared, and it made all the difference in the world for me and my case. I feel for anyone going through a divorce but very highly recommend Corrie Sirkin and Nova Legal Professionals!

Sarah stepped in to help me when I had no one to turn too. I could not find my previous attorney who was working my case and in desperation I came across Sarah with Manassas Law Group. Mr. Daugherty handled multiple cases for me. I was involved in a very controversial separation to divorce. Although I tried to work with my ex toward an amenable resolution and get treatment for his addiction issues, my ex's family and the opposing lawyer made that difficult when they proceeded to file multiple fraudulent claims against me. Mr. Daugherty stepped in several times to assist - he even went out of his way to make sure I was aware of legal proceedings he found out about that were purposely filed by the opposing parties behind my back. Although the opposing party was highly unethical and attempted to circumvent or delay any proceedings they knew they would be unsuccessful in, Mr. Daugherty was straightforward and honest with me in options to deal with such. Unfortunately, my ex lost his addiction battle and passed away and I continue to fight his family to get the compensation that is owed me and my children; however, Mr. Daugherty's assistance in making sure I safely got out of an abusive situation was worth the cost. Mr. Daugherty is not only patient and understanding but is also ethical, straightforward, honest, and reliable.

I often encounter Shawn in court and he always conducts himself professionally and ethically. He is extremely knowledgeable, and I feel that Shawn really does have the best interest of his clients in mind. He is not an attorney that just wants to settle cases and move on. I often consult with him about legal issues, and he is always able to produce proper legal advice.
Additionally, he has a wonderful relationship with the Judges and that goes a long way in criminal defense.

She shared information with my spouses attorney that obviously was shared with him. No client attorney privilege here. Kate is not trustworthy and if she doesn’t like other attractive females should probably avoid taking their cases. As u can see, I’m not the only women who left this sort of review. Stay away from this firm. I think she’s the reason why so many bad reviews now.

After doing my research and speaking with several legal firms I choose Bristle-Schulze for my divorce based on Anna's reputation and experience; but as importantly she was the only firm to have an in-person consultation. Right from the start I understood that I made the correct choice.
Anna and her team, Courtney and Krista where on top of it from day one. They patiently explain the process and where very upfront with what to except, answering every question I had. Communications were easy and it never took long to receive a call or answer back.
Their experience and expertise on the legal side was also impressive, keeping everything in order and on track but also understand and tactfully handling the stress and emotion that one goes through. More importantly, they actually pushed for and tried to ensure the clearest path that was most cost effect for all involved.
Their billing was very clear to understand and if I had any questions, they took their time to walk through the invoice with me to make sure my questions were answered.
While it took 3+ years for my divorce to be finalized, at no fault of theirs, they remained steadfast and patient to make sure the outcome was the absolute best for my family and me.
I would recommend Anna and Bristle-Schulze to anyone.

Beth Chavez is not your typical attorney who i just out to make money. She is one of the few that actually cares about not just her clients but the people she speaks with. I recently had a child support modification that the other party wanted to do discovery and waste a lot of time and money. I consulted with Beth who listened to me and at the end of the consultation gave me advise on how to push back on the opposing side to have this wrapped up without litigation or discovery. This consultation and advice saved me thousands of dollars that Beth could have obtained but instead she is a compassionate attorney who is in the business for the right reason! I know at some point i will need to hire another attorney and it WILL be Beth! Thank you again!

Betty was the partner who handled my divorce along with Melanie Rice. Although we didn't get the full outcome I had hoped for, she (and Melanie) worked nights and weekends to try to get opposing counsel closer to a balanced settlement. I would recommend her to anyone who asked me for my opinion.

BEWARE!!! What started out as great service from Mr.Rosenthall, has become a nightmare!!! Services paid in full. Over a year and expungements are not complete, 5+ emails and phone calls never returned. His negligence has led to denial of employment for charges that have been approved due to them being tied to a charge that is in need of a hearing!

This firm provided exceptional professional service. The advice was always objective without trying to push a particular course of action on us. We were presented with an array of options and allowed to weigh the pros and cons freely. The firm was very responsive whenever we had questions or needed help and communication was easy. Service time was meticulously tracked. We never once felt as if this firm was trying to take advantage of us. The firm did help us achieve the goal we were seeking. It is very difficult to find a law firm that works with tenants for landlord-tenant issues but this one does. Highly recommend!

When Raimo was appointed to my child support case I spent the entire time leading up to my court date trying to reach her with no success. I tried everything. She DOES NOT respond or return emails, phone calls, millions of voicemails etc.
Red flag #2
When I finally heard from her it was via a text message sent at midnight- which I find completely unprofessional.
With my court date 4 days away, I was feeling desperate and helpless, so I responded immediately, but AGAIN got no response until 2 days before court.
Red flag #3
When I finally spoke to her, I explained my case but she offered no sound advice or options for fighting the case. She seemed uninterested and claimed she was busy with “school.” This interaction left me feeling just as hopeless as before.
Now at this point I should’ve known better and looked elsewhere for help, but she had dragged me and ignored me right up until the weekend before court so I had no time.
Now here I am, waiting to see the judge, and she is nowhere to be found; Ignoring all my calls and texts.
Long story short-
SHE DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP TO COURT!!
TWO DAYS LATER - she sends me a nonchalant text message saying-
“Sorry I missed you. What happened in court?”
She did not even have the decency to give me a call.
Disgustingly unprofessional. I NEVER write reviews but this one was necessary!! This lady should have her license revoked! As a lawyer, clients put their trust in you and you are responsible for their well-being, freedom, representation in the legal system. I’m sorry but this lady is TRASH!

I hired Johnathan for a semi complicated custody case. After being hired I found out that my ex had already filed and we had a court date already set. I sent this information to Johnathan he informed me that he had prior arrangements and couldn’t make it but would have someone step in on his place. Emily was wonderful and professional and also knowledgeable.
My issue is more with billing and communication on what I would be billed. I turned out that due to Johnathans personal conflict with my initial court date I would not be paying 350 for any communication with Johnathan and an additional 250 for Emily. Had I known this would be the car I would had asked to be transferred over to Emily only as she was able to show up for my case and while my case was semi complicated it an experienced lawyer should’ve been wholly able to navigate it better than myself.
Additionally, dusting a family emergency I called his office on a Thursday at 2:40 and was informed that he was not at his desk but would call me back. Due to urgency I then sent an email of which did not get responded to until Monday. He then informed me that his lack of response was because I did not include his assistant or the other attorney that I didn’t even know had been added to my case. Having never hired an attorney before better communication was expected in terms of who I would get billed for. The handout while full of information on how much certain tiers of employees would cost is helpful but really of no use when no one communicates and says this attorney will also be added to your case at your expense because on personal conflicts.
I discontinued his services after he could not be reached and I informed him of my issues, feelings, and how I felt about his services and he responded with he “respectfully disagreed”
I would recommend Emily as I actually did get to met with her in person and speak with her. I know billing and lack of communication was not her fault.

I selected Jon McHugh of the Livesay & Myers Leesburg office to help me through a recent divorce. I unfortunately have experience with other divorce attorneys and because of previous issues, I interviewed a few others before I finally picked Jon.
I was immediately impressed with his candor and demeanor. He didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, like many have. He also didn't look at his watch before he said hello or goodbye like I've experienced in the past. He listened to my story and gave me his thoughts about a path forward. I was sold on him after the first five minutes.
Working with Jon and his support staff was my favorite of all time attorney interactions. Jon and Margaret Stanley were extremely responsive to any of my questions or requests and I never got the feeling that they were looking for things to charge me for like I've experienced in the past.
The bottom line is that the final settlement came out much better than we discussed in the beginning. I chalk that up to Jon knowing what he is doing and the strategy he laid out working better than expected. Exceeding expectations is how you get satisfied customers and I certainly am one. As a side note, this cost me less in legal fees than I expected and much less than I've previously experienced.
I would highly recommend the Livesay & Myers law firm and Jonathan McHugh in specific.
