I feel really lucky that Smith Law Group represented me. I have heard so may horror stories related to friends of mine going through a divorce and not having a good attorney. This was not the case with me. I most certainly was well represented and supported. Most importantly if it looked like something may go sideways or we could not get an agreement Jen’s office was able to calm the storm and get us back to settling the case. I am very grateful for all their work on my behalf!

Everyone told me I would not get custody of my kids because I’m a father living in Washington State. Well, that is not true! I hired Jen and her office to deal with some difficult custody issues in my divorce. Jen was very clear as to what I could expect. She was also very clear in how I needed to move the case forward. I listened to her and she made it happen! If you are a dad going through a divorce with children do not trust your case with anyone else!

There is not enough I can say for all Melissa has done for me and my children. I hired Melissa after having 2 other local attorneys. I won’t mention their names, however I don’t feel with them they always had the best intentions of my children involved. From the start with my consultation, Melissa always had not only my protection legally /finamcially at the top, but the protection of my children first and foremost. It had taken me three years and two attorneys before Melissa came and finished my case with the amount of money she told me she would. She actually finished my three year long case in just 6 months. Recently, I hired another attorney and they were fine, however, family law was all that they could handle. Mr Bellmer was able to handle criminal as well as family law, because domestic violence was used. His ability to move back and forth through different courts amazed me just how he could keep up with all of it along with his many other clients. Regarding me, he had a mountain of STUFF to overcome even with me interrupting him, he was still able to methodically and systematically overcome everything the opposing lawyer accused me of. Currently, he has righted my ship and now I personally feel that I am in a position to win. I would like to add that I am innocent, so justice will prevail. If you are guilty, then there is not much any attorney can do for you except get you a lesser sentence or sanction.

After my first attorney pushed me to file an ill advised motion that he lost, I was so lucky to find Mr Wagner through a friend’s referral. Mr Wagner was patient with my many detailed questions, was prompt to respond to my Emails, and advised me as to how to avoid prolonging the divorce process. He composed compelling letters to opposing counsel. He works alone with just one paralegal who is extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Mr. Wagner would often reply same day to my weekend inquiries and even converse with me via Zoom or WhatsApp while he was on vacation! I can’t say enough good things about him.

I was very impressed to receive a call back from the Morgan Hill firm. They were the only firm out of 9 to even return my call. I was given an appointment within 4 days. Impressive!
I was pleasantly greeted as I walked in the door. I then met with Clint Morgan. He actively listened and showed sincere compassion. He provided me with the information I needed in a concise, logical, helpful way that I could easily understand. He then encouraged me to think it over and didn't pressure me in any way.
I was impressed with my entire experience and would highly recommend the Morgan Hill firm.

If I could give these guys a negative five stars I would. Lily said that she did not need to show up for a hearing and my ex had her attorney there and I lost. I spent over $7,000 and they did not submit anything to defend me. I repeatedly asked for a game plan and how they would defend me and I got nothing except a big Bill. I asked multiple times for them to send messages and notifications to opposing counsel and they did not. They wrote letters the opposing counsel would not accept because they said it was third-party contact, but I was billed for these. Do yourself a favor and find another firm these guys are absolutely horrible. They do not keep you informed at all. You will have to call in and email them multiple times, getting billed $35 to $150 for each request, and you will still get nothing.

I hired Kim Reid to help me with Domestic Violence Protection Order. I was scared and intimated by the entire process. Kim stepped in and made the process so much easier to deal with. Without her I do not think I could have navigated such a difficult situation. After the order was entered I hired Kim Reid to do my divorce as well. I retained $1250.00 Kim Reid to do a guardianship case and she took that money and applied it to another family law case I was making payments on that she over charged me for. Kim Reid never went to court on my guardianship case after I paid her.

I repeatedly asked for receipts for their time and did not receive it. The court told me to take it up with the Bar. Seriously, thurston county family court told me to complain to the bar about this establishment. I was directed by the judge. I only got 1/2 a day to review paperwork yet they defended giving opposing council 42 days. Who does that? They said it was standard for morris -sockle to only give 1/2 a day for review. Steer Clear! Even thurston county court said morris-sickleis wasting the courts time.

After surgery at a local hospital, my mother was left with the loss of feeling and mobility in her legs. Our family met with Mr Morris for a consultation and he put many of our fears to rest. He educated us as to the process and after a reasonable period of time got us a settlement that was fair and moreover one that compensated my mother and family for the damages that had been done. I am forever thankful to Mr. Morris and would recommend him to anyone who has the same type of problem with hospital of health care provider.

10k down the drain. Won’t say who but I’ll say they forgot key evidence to my case that I was bringing my ex wife to court for and it bounced back at me and now I’m dealing with the repercussions of it. Also, when asked for reimbursement, they informed me they thought it was going to go that way, so it didn’t matter anyway. But the whole reason I took my ex-wife to court was because of this evidence that was never submitted.

I wrote the review on October of 2020. I just received a bill for over $1700 after I paid off my bill almost 2 years ago! These people are obtuse. Stay away, stay far away. They advertise as Divorce Lawyers for Men, yet they automatically gave the $1200 residential credit to my ex while she makes over $12k/month and it is 50/50. I said in the previous review to stay away and she is trying to charge me $1700 after 2 years and no billing information on time charged. She is obtuse.

Morris -sockle would not give me receipts of their work done. After repeatedly asking for it they did not give it to me. I was not able to show it for court and thus the court did not consider having the other party pay for my attorney. They also filed paperwork with the court and directed me to file within 3 days. It said so in the file with court. I sent it in 4 days within court and they did not accept. The court directed me to take it up with the Bar. Steer clear! They also tried to settle out of court. I said no and I got 4 times the amount they told me I should take.
Big mistake and they are known to only give you half a day to review your paperwork. They defended giving opposing counsel 42 days. Stay away! She is with the devil. Should not be associated with lawyers for men. That is a con. They will take retainer and ask for more...

Though she wasn't able to take my case, she did try, and was honest and said my case was out of the scope of her expertise.
Unlike so many Attorneys who want to get paid for a consult up front before they tell you that your issues are outside their field.
But they charge you 200-400 and claim its research. augh!

This lawyer tells stories just like he said. He takes things and twists words to provide a story that the judge likes. He has helped multiple abusers further abuse and does not understand how the abuse cycle works or he would see through it. He takes on clients that have track records of abuse, addiction, and poor behavior and helps them get custody of children. I will never hire him again
