I have been through a very ugly divorce with a narcissistic abuser, and met Sydnie by chance when I was attending another hearing. She took on my case like the champ that she is. Family Law is full of "lawyers". Finding the right one can be more then a challenge. Don't look any further then Jamie.
I had a very complicated divorce due to the other party, despite every effort on the other parties part to drag out and fight to get more than was fair at every step, the process was smooth with Jamie, and in almost every instance of the legal games the other lawyer played, things always went in my favor.
As a father/male you almost always judged the wrongdoer, and kids usually end up with mom. When I saw my kids were suffering we got one of the best children's/teen Psychiatrists in Reno to see my youngest who was having exception trouble. Jame knew who to turn to at every step to help my girls.
In my case the kids wanted to live with me, and that's just what happened.
Divorces can be very difficult or they can be nice and smooth, but in my case, what was both difficult, was also smooth with Jamie. I had very difficult divorce, yet it was an absolutely smooth process. In the end we did better then what we had initially offered at the onset of the proceedings.

If you have been accused of something please do yourself a favor and at least have a consultation with Tom. It is overwhelming to go through this experience, particularly when you have never been accused of something in the past. From the first second I sat down with Tom, it was obvious that he truly cared about me, and I felt that I had an ally in my fight. For the rest of my life, I will never forget Tom and the compassion he showed me. He inspires me and restores my faith in humanity. He is an honest lawyer who won't act on a request simply because you ask; if he believes it’s not the right or fair course of action, he will not proceed. She was very friendly at my consultant and I brought my daughter with me. I was already ripped off by my husband of 19 years and I can't touch his trust but I can get at least 1/2 his pension. I'm living with my daughter and her family which I thank God everyday for that Blessing. Ms. Miller said she could do the pension but at no time did she say that was another entity I had to hire. I sold all my jewelry to pay for this divorce below cost but I did it anyway. Then she screwed up by submitting the wrong divorce decree but a work up I reminded them the Alimony was pension not cash. So, I had to tell them it's wrong. And now, after I submit my decree to Teamsters they tell me it won't work there's a whole other paper work to go along with it. At no time did she tell me or give me a referral to the right attorney for my type of divorce. I have no money and now I have to come up with more money. She got her 1k+ what does it matter to her!
