Tami Mitchell is a life saver!!! I can say that because she saved my life.
I was falsely accused of numerous accounts of sexual assault in the military. I went to a courts-martial and was found guilty of several counts. Tami came recommended to handle my appeal. Once I spoke to her, I knew she was the lawyer for me. She read through the 1500+ page record of trial and presented a strong case for overturning my convictions. 18 months later, Tami’s excellent work paid off and my sexual assault convictions were overturned for factual insufficiency, which is the equivalent of an acquittal. I was able to get off the sex offender registration list.
My initial wrongful convictions caused additional legal issues for me, but Tami remained by my side each step of the way, assisting my appointed military counsel and other attorneys who were not familiar with the military justice process. Finally, after more than 5 years since my wrongful convictions, my family and I can finally get a good night's sleep, knowing our ordeal has finally concluded with positive results.
Tami's fees are very reasonable; she is worth every penny. Not only is Tami a great lawyer, she is a great person. As you can imagine, my life has been very stressful during this period. Tami was always available to talk, and she took the time to explain things to me in detail so that I understood. Pueblo PD arrested me and hit me with a litany of firearms and burglary charges that I absolutely did not commit. All the charges added up to over 20 years in prison if convicted. I bonded out and called Rodemer and Kane immediately. With their help, 6 months later they dropped the charges and plead down to a criminal trespass. 6 months probation and a little community service. Hopefully I never need an attorney again, but if I did, I will be hiring them again

I was in a situation of having to cold call attorneys 10 states away and I was very uncertain about any groups as I really didn't have a way to get referrals from any one about their experience, but I got lucky and obtained the services of the Business Law Group - with attorney Mason Simpson. Boy did I get lucky. Mason, while having experience with large corporations, mega wealthy, influential people come to find out later, he never made me feel as if my issue was small or that I wasn't worth his time. He limited attorney time/fees the best he could and continued to update me on developments and worked with other co-defendants even making great suggestions to the judge when we were in a situation that ended up in mediation. He's a brilliant guy but doesn't mind watering things down to the regular person. I also felt something that it not necessarily in the legal system - and that is he wasn't into gamesmanship but rather did what was "right". I highly recommend him to anyone without reservation and I know that Colorado Springs has no idea the gem that plopped back there after a long stint in New York City. Hopefully I won't be in need of an attorney again (especially 10 states away), but if I did, I would hire Mason Simpson again - his paralegal and folks at his firm were also professional, helpful and did their jobs with excellence.

So recently, I had an unfortunate situation arise where I needed a lawyer regarding a family dispute involving young children. Unfortunately we couldn’t come to a resolution and I was forced to find a lawyer to represent me.
The team at Kohn law, specifically Erica Bertini and Debbie are beyond amazing and represented me with stellar results! On the initial consultation, I knew they were who I wanted representing me!
I was treated with the utmost respect and spoken with, not at or down to. When things were getting tight on time, they worked with me and helped me get through everything being stern but still considerate and respectful treating me as a person not just another client.
We won the initial part of our battle with ease because I retained an amazing law firm with stellar lawyers who have amazing knowledge, expertise and experience! The paralegal, Debbie, was always professional, staying on the phone with me sometimes late to make sure she had all the information, documentation and details that they needed to proceed with my case. She was instrumental in making sure we had all our ducks in a row and worked with me every step of the way.
Erica, my lawyer, worked feverishly ensuring a win for us. She made sure that I knew what was expected from me, always asking if I had any questions or concerns about anything. Debbie, his paralegal, was great! She would sit on the phone with my son sometimes late into the evening making sure he had everything needed and understood everything being asked! Horrible horrible lawyer. She represented my mom in the middle of a complete nightmare scenario for our whole family. We are now seeing the impacts of her complete lack of fighting for my mom and it's awful. The amount of effort put into what she did for my mom was minimal, at best. I would never recommend her to anyone in need of a lawyer, ever. After a divorce, someone should be able to move on in an okay situation due to the fact that their lawyer made sure of that. There was so much that was overlooked. There was no attention to detail. There was no soul in the fight from this lawyer. Do not hire her. You'll regret it later when you're sitting there wondering why so much is still being taken from you or your loved one that should have been concrete and locked down after the divorce. If you're reading this, keep looking. This lawyer isn't where you should stop your search.
