I must say that The Taylor Firm is… to say the best and efficient in the judicial process of Baltimore City is an absolute understatement!!!! I was arrested held without bail. I’d hired the firm and within less than a month’s time, I was released without any bail review or court proceedings. As GOD as my witness… out of nowhere I was told to pack up!!!! Not to mention throughout the duration of this incarceration, the team was amazingly informative and empathetic. This firm is a firm that will go far and beyond to get the job done! They WILL work together to work for you. If you’d ask me to describe the Firm… I’d say I’d bet my bottom dollar on The Taylor Firm vs The Cochran Firm any day.

Mr. Ruff was the best attorney ever. I had a case with 1st and 2nd degree assault. Mr. Ruff Was calming in the rough sea. Mr. Ruff cares about his clients and treats you like family. I felt like Mr. Ruff was a brother and a mentor. I learned a lot about my self and many life lessons with Mr. Ruff. I hired Malcolm For my case and I couldn't ask for a more personable, professional, and experienced attorney. I was a mess after my incident and throughout the process he kept me calm and reassured me that we were going to be fine and he was going to take care of it. He went above and beyond his duties as my attorney making sure that I understood everything and that we were on the same page. Anything less than a win or fair deal is unnacceptable to him. During trial I can tell he does his homework because he always has a game plan and can also improvise. You'll never feel doubt because he won't let you. Attorney Darrell Robinson was not only my ex-husband, but he was a great attorney. He has actually represented me on two civil cases and I received a verdict in my favor both times. There is one thing I could say about him...he was a powerhouse in the court room. He built several strong relationships with officials in several jurisdictions. He would always give everything he had in making sure the outcome was in his client's favor. Attorney Darrell Robinson passed away in 2022. I will forever be grateful.

Hey I’m writing this review in reference to an outstanding phenomenal attorney Darrel Robinson!!! I met Darrel by chance and I can honestly say it has been one of my best relationships yet. Not only is he my attorney, he has become a mentor and great friend to me as well. That’s just some insight on what kind of a guy you would be dealing with if you decide to choose him. Darrel represented me in a civil matter and he did an amazing job. He brings the energy and tenacity that would satisfy anyone that he services. Wow! We met by coincidence and he was the very man that I needed. He is naturally confident and assertive for one thing, like most attorneys I’ve seen, but he is just the same on the floor: telling qualities of a master at his craft. I am a natural skeptic, so I appreciated most his knowledge of the law and my rights; but, his forthright honesty about the outcome is what earned my immediate respect. More to the point, remember the saying, “He acts as his own lawyer, and has a fool for a client?” I was that guy. I also witnessed the day of my sentencing, slack jawed and horrified, what happens to that guy, for a jailable offense; with the right judge, on the wrong day *cringe.* Then I witnessed, immediately afterwards, what happens when you have a good attorney...... Good defense, good results. THEN, there was us. Attorney Robinson is respected, connected and downright brilliant. Ten minutes in, I was out - free to cry myself all the way to bible study, having been both blessedly unburdened and deeply humbled. Unbelievable. I rest my case.

From the first day we started working with Mark he was completely honest and candid about what he could or couldn't do. He also had an air about him that showed he was confident in his ability and presented his record of success but also failures. You have to be confident to be able to do this. He gave us an overview of the process to have our child placed in a private academic site. This was great because before working with Mark we had no idea of what to expect. Setting expectations was something that he does extremely well. I went to several meetings with Mark and he was always listening and asking questions which shows he was trying to get a command of his facts before speaking. There was no grandstanding involved in his approach. When he spoke it was for a purpose. When it was time for him to speak he held the room and he was direct. And when he needed to he was AGGRESSIVE, precise and fought for my son in a way that I never could have. Mark also has relationships that extended beyond our case that actually helped him to understand all parties involved and strengthen our argument. I never felt like he didn't have control of the situation. He also worked very well with the all of the therapists that were to be involved with our case. All of our therapists said they had heard of Mark and that he was good. If we had any questions, he made time to call, text, email or use any other method just to keep me calm. This made a difference. He also helped me understand there are certain things I should and shouldn't say about our son when asked by the opposing attorney. I should also point out Mark was never late and he always stayed afterwards to have frank discussions with me. In the end my son got everything he needed and more. Mark made sure everything was in writing and properly managed. He even set up a meeting that I couldn't get with the private school. I would have to rate mark as being outstanding.

My family hired Mr. Martin to represent our son in a case against the Baltimore County School system. Our son recently moved from a public school to a private school because of his learning disabilities. Although BCPS was aware of his issues, they denied him services for 2 years which resulted in our son falling two years behind in his education. After consulting with Mark about our case, we were more than confident that we had found the right attorney for this type of law suit. Mark came highly recommended to us and his past work on cases like ours only made us feel that we were definitely going in the right direction. Mark and his staff were extremely professional and efficient. Within months we were on our way to Mediation. Because of Mark, we settled at mediation and were reimbursed by Baltimore County Schools for our sons tuition. I don't think we would have had the outcome we did unless we had Mr. Martin and his office on our side. We could not ask for a better outcome or a better attorney.

I was referred to Joel Zuckerman by another outstanding lawyer, Stephen Alexander Shechtel (has a perfect 10 rating on Avvo) whom was recommended to me by a trusted friend’s lawyer, Brian Sadur. This friend (a doctor and father), who had experienced an international marriage/divorce with a Japanese national, fully understood the custody challenges involved when divorcing a Japanese National—for context: Japanese culture advocates sole custody to the Japanese parent as the only and safest option for all Japanese (mixed or otherwise) children (hence Japan’s nickname “the black hole of child abduction”). This friend, who despite being a father and non-Japanese, managed to successful win fair custody access to his children against a Japanese mother—therefore his recommendation was clearly sound. Because of gross manipulation and abuse of the courts by my ex-husband’s lawyer, Jessica Markham (read my google review of Jessica Markham for a more thorough understanding of her slimy fermented underskin), I didn’t get the opportunity to follow-up on the recommendation until after my children were kidnapped in Japan from the USA by their father/my-japanese-ex-husband. Shechtel was unable to take on a new case at the time, but he referred me to Joel Zuckerman, who is not only an exceptional lawyer with an intact moral compass (as he took my case knowing I had already extinguished all my funds on legal fees up to that point), but whom also is experienced with complicated international custody cases. When working on my case, I was blown away by how efficient and concise he worked with his time and communication (being mindful to not waste any of my already depleted funds). He always gave me straight answers (even when he knew it wasn’t the one I wanted to hear) and managed my expectations of what he could or couldn’t do for me. He also worked very fast to meet my fast moving Japanese court deadlines (as my ex always turned in his motions late leaving little time to prepare rebuttals—a shady trick Markham also used in US court). Despite managing my expectations realistically of a low recovery rate with Japan (to date, no non-Japanese parent has ever successfully recovered their child from japan through the Hague convention, and those recovered by other means are estimated to be around 4% in the last 40+ years), he successfully coordinated with my Japanese lawyer, Takao Tanase, to recover my children from parental abduction by means of a Habeas Corpus motion in Tokyo High Court—an insanely difficult task and even more rare feat. I can’t recommend Joel enough to parents in complicated custody battles and feel you won’t find a more hardworking and efficient lawyer with an intact integrity.

Joel Zuckerman represented me during my divorce and support enforcement/recalculation proceedings. I feel extremely fortunate to have had Joel's assistance through one of the most difficult times in my life. He is honest, professional, extremely thorough and well-prepared at all times. He also responds to questions almost instantly, which is very reassuring when your life is turned upside down by divorce. To this day I am impressed by how well he knew the facts of my case, how he checked in on me throughout the process to make sure we were working on long term solutions that would work for my family, and how he zealously protected my interests when I needed it most. My perspective is somewhat unique. Because of Joel's excellent advocacy, I was able to attend law school after my divorce. I now know that Joel has a reputation for being a hard opponent to beat in court, but is also well-liked within the legal community. This means that Joel is tough when you need him to be, but adheres to professional standards in a way that benefits, not harms, his clients' interests. Additionally, Joel's legal writing and arguments are well researched, clear, and spot on, which goes a long way toward creating successful outcomes for clients. I can tell you that, both as a client and an (almost) attorney, Joel is one of the best Maryland has to offer. I recommend him to everyone I know because he is hardworking and adept, and I will try to emulate how he treated me as a client when I represent my own clients. What more can I say than that?

I met Mr. Zuckerman by accident. I got a temporary protective order from my ex and I was given the names of 3 attorneys to call. I found Joel Zuckerman on my own without recommendations. I called all 4 attorneys and Mr. Zuckerman was the only one that went above and beyond what I expected. It was my first time going through this and I did not know what to do, think or expect. However, he went directly to the court to get the recording of what my ex told the judge that allowed the judge to grant a temporary protective order. I was impressed. I hired him and during my the protective order hearing he was able to turn everything around. I then hired him for custody because there was an agreement signed that I had no clue of what certain things meant, but he represented me well and I was able to get additional items reverted from the contract I signed. A few years later I hired him again for custody and we won custody and about $1800/month in child support. He was able to uncover a lot of income my ex was hiding. I couldn't have gone through my custody without him. He is experienced and professional, but most importantly he cares.

I hired Tracy Rezvani to sue a major bank in DC. They'd opened accounts without my permission, and screwed up my credit report. Tracy was relentless in getting the bank to compensate me for my damages. And, she never waivered in her support of my claim. She always did what was in my best interest. And, deferred to me for all decisions as to how the case should proceed. We never made it to court because the bank settled the case. I would definitely hire her again.
