I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mr. Pickens and his representation. I've had good and poor representation in the past, but Mr. Pickens exceeds my expectations at every level. We hired Whitney for a criminal defense case. She was creative in her defense strategy, very intelligent, and because of her previous employment as a Tulsa officer she embarrassed the prosecution a few times which was really nice to see! My name is khupmin . I was accused of sexual battery at a car dealership where I used to work in March of 2012. I am a father of two kids . I am also a foreigner from north east India , living in the great nation of the United States of America with a green card . My life came tumbling down after sexual battery accusation . Since its a felony , I can be deported if convicted . That means can't live in the United States with my family . No more American dreams . I hired a lawyer but was not quite confident about his competency so , I research online a bit more and that's when I came across Mr Kevin Adams ( attorney at law ) I read testimonials of some of his previous trials winning accomplishment and I was convince right there that I found the right attorney that will have the balls to fight for me and above all , WIN !! The case . That's when I approached him to be my attorney . Today , on the 14 th September 2016 , about 4 years later , I was acquitted of sexual battery , a felony , all because of the hard work , tedious preparation , a genius in cross examination, of Mr Kevin Adams ( attorney at law ) . I have and do highly recommended James Stout for many reasons. I have recommended him to several friends, family and strangers who were in need of any sort of legal representation because he has never let us down thus far. He is a class act. For my family, James has been our hero and our go to guy. Literally this man has been here for us through a variety of difficult situations. Family law, criminal defense, juvenile court, child support, and has even consulted with us on adoption procedures, power of attorney guidance for my terminally ill mother etc etc.. He is committed and honest. He doesn't tell us what we want to hear.... he tells us his honest opinion. He is fair and reasonable on a financial aspect, and always tries to get us the most for our money. He's caring on a personal level yet productive and professional when it's crunch time. One phone call to him, with a moment's notice and he has still shown up to aid me in difficult situations and that kind of attorney is unheard of these days. He is prompt and for the most part has actually answered his phone when we called him and if he didn't answer then he returned the call within 24 hours. He's always been on time for court dates. He also always keeps us updated and explains to us everything and prepares us for the process and/or what to expect next. Great guy. I hate needing a attorney ever, but if we do need one he'll be the guy.

This was a very frustrating experience. I knew it needed to be done, but was ashamed that I had got myself into this situation to begin with. I just needed someone to walk me through getting it done and getting it over with. I had read many negative reviews on Joel, but I wanted to give him a chance to prove himself. Obviously, we all make mistakes. WOW were they spot on. No return calls. No keeping me up to date. No routine communication. I was like, “Are you kidding me?!” Am I getting hustled?! Finally, after one frustration after another, completely doubting my decision of choosing this guy, the court date was approaching, and like the little ground hog that comes out to see his shadow, Poof, there he was. Asking all the questions, searching all the answers, finding solutions for what I needed. After siting through several cases before mine, I realized, it’s not that my case was being put on the back burner per say. It’s that I was 1 of many he was working tirelessly to try and help. Case after case… Bam, helped. Bam, helped. Running through each case like a champ. Then when it came time for mine, there he came, shining through all the chaos. I guess I just didn’t realize, I wasn’t the only one going through such a difficult time. When it comes to getting your bankruptcy filled properly, Joel is ready for the challenge. Just keep in mind, your not his only client, you are very valuable to him, and if he is working 6 cases a day, though he Wants to get back to you in a timely manner, there is a good chance he is currently up to his elbows in paper work, and sadly, 2 days later, in the midst of his chaotic schedule, is in a timely manner.
