Skylaw group helped me so much with my auto accident. I didn't have much information to go on but they went up and above to provide me with great service and a payout for the car that was totaled. I also got a settlement of way more than what I was expecting. The staff at skylaw group are professional efficient and very knowledgeable about the business. If I could give negative stars, I would. While it may sound cliché, it is absolutely true in this case. If you are considering hiring Ilona, please take a step I regret not taking: ask around about her reputation at various firms. Doing so could save you hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Ilona took 5-6 months to draft a Marital Settlement Agreement (MSA) based on mediation outcomes, a task that should have taken just a few days. This delay resulted in costs of $50,000 to $60,000 for a poorly executed MSA. This amount does not even cover the majority of her work, which was far from satisfactory.
It’s important to know that there are remedies if you find yourself in a situation with an attorney who appears to intentionally botch work for future financial gain. This experience ranks among the top five worst mistakes I've made in 44 years. I cannot stress enough the importance of asking around before hiring.
Additionally, when I requested her to correct her mistakes, she demanded more money to do so. What other service demands additional payment to fix their own intentional errors? It’s incomprehensible.
Also she uses tactics to fool people with multiple google review pages to spam

I have been in the unfortunate position of having to pursue litigation several times in my career when my property has been damaged. A silver lining in this cloudy process has been the opportunity to work with Adam Hoover. In my experience, stretching back over more than six years and multiple cases, Adam has consistently demonstrated excellent performance on many levels. While by and large, all lawyers have attended law school and passed the bar examination, not all of them have legal minds which innately grasp, interpret and apply the law to the set of facts particular to a given case. This quality is more than simply an enviable skill; it bears directly upon a client's experience during the litigation experience and ultimately the cost burden born by the client. This manifests in reductions of redundant work, excessive research and surplus discovery. In addition to the time and cost savings associated with thoroughly understanding issues and applicable laws in a case, Adam is mindful of the financial burden costly litigation places on clients. I never felt that Adam “nickel and dimed" me or overbilled me in any way. In fact, I know he is very conservative with his time keeping and while accurate, certain items on the bill are marked "no charge".
Adam clearly places my best interest, as a client, as his top priority. He has demonstrated a consistent willingness to try to win my cases early in the lawsuit lifecycle. He has achieved an impressive level of success to those ends. That not only saves me the cost of protracted discovery and trials in some instances, but also allows me to devote my efforts to growing my business rather than litigating. Although he could bill three or four times more fees by taking a case through discovery and trial, he places his ethical obligation to zealously represent me above his personal profit motive.
The last but certainly not least important area where Adam has distinguished himself in my experience is his accessibility. Even when he has other cases going to trial or experiencing a producing a heavy workload he still responds quickly to messages I leave and takes the time to answer my questions. Due to his outstanding legal ability, conscientious regard for his client’s well being and high ethical standards, i have, and will continue to recommend him to my friends and associates who find themselves in need of representation and can’t afford to lose.

Our firm was involved in a case between taxpayers whereby we were accused of purposely not providing documents relevant to the case during discovery (which of course was not true). Our attorney provided by our professional liability insurance carrier was not protecting our legal rights or providing relevant case law to defend us at our sanction hearings. Terrified after I received a subpoena from Strike 3, I couldn't sleep, think, work without muscle wringing anxiety of this threat. I did some research and found out that i was not alone, but much more than that I found Steve and Lisa. I watched his videos, read some reviews, and on Sunday morning I reached out, expecting to have to leave a message. However, Lisa picked up and it was 8 AM on the west coast. I explained my situation, that I was from the other coast, I was completely honest. She put me at ease right away. SHe comforted me, reassured me, and promised to act fast. I felt like I could breathe again. I borrowed some money and paid them the flat fee right away. A clear and concise course of action followed and Lisa was there every time I had a question or concern and she did not wait. Every response was immediate and concise. Once Steve had all my financials, he called and helped me understand a few important details: qualifying for hardship, the tenacity of Strike3's lawyer, and a quick breakdown of how these issues become legal matters. If you watch any of his youtube videos, you will find that he goes out of his way to teach you and guide you in the process of this very uncomfortable situation. The next steps involved some difficult and scary communications between Lisa, Steve, and the Strike3 lawyer. Lisa and Steve stuck by me and called out their lawyer on some clear negligence in reviewing my documents. Lisa kept me apprised with all communications and both were available for all my concerns. Eventually, I came up with the best I could do in terms of a settlement which was accepted , way below what Strike 3 had originally wanted, and we moved forward with the payment and dismissal. I only took five weeks, from the time I received the subpoena to the dismissal, Trust LIsa and Steve. Don't wait. They don't. They are on your side and do not drag this on. Their flat fee is a bargain for anyone especially given the situation and level of service Lisa and Steve provide. Don't suffer and don't sweat, get in touch with Vondran legal and breathe again.
