How do you thank people who truly changed your life? I had been struggling with substantial, life-thwarting tax debt from an ex-husband for over a decade. It was a complicated case that included white collar crime, broken promises from legal aid agencies, and collection abuse by government agencies. Joe and his staff listened carefully, and proceeded with calm diligence, no matter the challenge. We went through an OIC with the IRS successfully, and with the FTB, I was granted relief with an Innocent Spouse appeal. Joe and Jessica did not give up when things weren't right. They were committed to seeing things to a better end.
All paperwork was clear and timely, all filings were correct. They were respectful of time/fees, and always open to discuss any questions. Klein and Wilson exceeded all expectations in handling our legal malpractice case. Mark Wilson and Joe Miceli did an outstanding job reviewing all applicable case law. They were very accessible and their follow up was outstanding and prompt. They frankly ran circles around defenses council and were superstars in deposition. When deposed individuals tried to avoid or not answer vital questions they rephrased and pinned them down
They were also very helpful in developing sound strategies that enabled us to get a settlement above actual dammages without having to go to trial.
You have to pay to get the best, but it sure pays to have the best on your side. They are indeed superlawyers and it's no suprise their firm is ranked in the top 20 nationally in their areas of expertise

I was referred to Mark Wilson from a friend and called him to see if he could assist on a current case involving a family member. Mr. Wilson called me back within the hour and after office hours and took the time to listen to the details of the case. Mark Wilson and his firm successfully represented our company in a breach of contract dispute from the filing of the arbitration demand through the collection of the award. My father, a WWII veteran and Purple Heart recipient, suffered a fall at the age of 101 that resulted in his death 30 days later. I was waiting for a green light when my car was hit and pushed about 60 yards back, into a curb. The irony is that my insurance company also insured the person who was at fault. Even so, the insurance company made it difficult, so I hired a Law Office which assigned Mr. Hashemi to my case. From the onset, Mr. Hashemi was considerate, professional, and timely with all my questions and concerns. I have been in the unfortunate position of having to pursue litigation several times in my career when my property has been damaged. A silver lining in this cloudy process has been the opportunity to work with Adam Hoover. In my experience, stretching back over more than six years and multiple cases, Adam has consistently demonstrated excellent performance on many levels. While by and large, all lawyers have attended law school and passed the bar examination, not all of them have legal minds which innately grasp, interpret and apply the law to the set of facts particular to a given case. This quality is more than simply an enviable skill; it bears directly upon a client's experience during the litigation experience and ultimately the cost burden born by the client. This manifests in reductions of redundant work, excessive research and surplus discovery. In addition to the time and cost savings associated with thoroughly understanding issues and applicable laws in a case, Adam is mindful of the financial burden costly litigation places on clients. I never felt that Adam “nickel and dimed" me or overbilled me in any way. In fact, I know he is very conservative with his time keeping and while accurate, certain items on the bill are marked "no charge".
Adam clearly places my best interest, as a client, as his top priority. He has demonstrated a consistent willingness to try to win my cases early in the lawsuit lifecycle. He has achieved an impressive level of success to those ends. That not only saves me the cost of protracted discovery and trials in some instances, but also allows me to devote my efforts to growing my business rather than litigating. Although he could bill three or four times more fees by taking a case through discovery and trial, he places his ethical obligation to zealously represent me above his personal profit motive.
The last but certainly not least important area where Adam has distinguished himself in my experience is his accessibility. Even when he has other cases going to trial or experiencing a producing a heavy workload he still responds quickly to messages I leave and takes the time to answer my questions. Due to his outstanding legal ability, conscientious regard for his client’s well being and high ethical standards, i have, and will continue to recommend him to my friends and associates who find themselves in need of representation and can’t afford to lose.

Our firm was involved in a case between taxpayers whereby we were accused of purposely not providing documents relevant to the case during discovery (which of course was not true). Our attorney provided by our professional liability insurance carrier was not protecting our legal rights or providing relevant case law to defend us at our sanction hearings. We thus engaged Shane to represent us. He provided excellent representation and we feel minimized what could have been a very costly ordeal, not to mention peace of mind during a trying time.

If I could give negative stars, I would. While it may sound cliché, it is absolutely true in this case. If you are considering hiring Ilona, please take a step I regret not taking: ask around about her reputation at various firms. Doing so could save you hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Ilona took 5-6 months to draft a Marital Settlement Agreement (MSA) based on mediation outcomes, a task that should have taken just a few days. This delay resulted in costs of $50,000 to $60,000 for a poorly executed MSA. This amount does not even cover the majority of her work, which was far from satisfactory.
It’s important to know that there are remedies if you find yourself in a situation with an attorney who appears to intentionally botch work for future financial gain. This experience ranks among the top five worst mistakes I've made in 44 years. I cannot stress enough the importance of asking around before hiring.
Additionally, when I requested her to correct her mistakes, she demanded more money to do so. What other service demands additional payment to fix their own intentional errors? It’s incomprehensible.
Also she uses tactics to fool people with multiple google review pages to spam

Just a warning that this firm will use their Engagement Letter to justify every billing an avoid crediting the client for any damages/expenses caused by their late/inaccurate billings. For examples, even when your clients are no longer around to reimburse you for their share of the firm's late billing, zero adjustment. They will not release/credit the retainer until you request it and all projects are finished (most attorneys who charge retainers apply it to the first few billings/months). But the kicker was when we were charged attorney ($750/hour rate) for the office task of scheduling a group call and they would not adjust it! All our other legal/accounting professionals adjust the billing to offset problems created by their firms mishandled actions, but not this one. Good luck!

I contacted the Vondran Law Firm over 10 days ago. The receptionist was short, seemingly in a hurry, and apparently disinterested in my call. I left my name and number asking for Steve or his assistant to call me back regarding a federal case in California. I never heard back from the firm.
One must ask, why does a law firm like this advertise and post videos on YouTube if when a new client contacts them they never even bother to call back?

Nguyen Law Group answered my questions and working with them was an easy choice. I made clear my need to keep costs down if possible, so they guided me through what I could do for myself throughout the process and I made sure not to be contacting them at every turn. They did their job well, were kind, professional, and helpful! They made the process as easy as possible and were clear at all times. I worked primarily with Neena and I appreciate her so much. I highly recommend Nguyen Law Group. They are compassionate and will help you whether you want a no frills, amicable divorce or whether you need them to pull out all the stops and go to bat for you in a difficult situation. I noticed that some attorneys are just pushing papers, which is great for an easy-going divorce. However, reaching a settlement it’s always within your control. And I play that no one has to go through what I have.
