We had an unusual bankruptcy issue, and we felt as if we were doomed, in spite of the benefits of the Bankruptcy law which is intended to give debtors a fresh start.

I had a billing dispute with a well known rental car company. It was over a pre-existing crack in the windshield of a rental vehicle. Despite my notification to them and assurance from their representative that I would not be charged, they billed me for the damage. I spoke with Andy on multiple occasions regarding completely different advice. One was for someone that received a DUI and another for a person legally separating with kids involved. Although I know him personally, he was very professional, as he always is. Howard was engaged by a coalition group to assist with a coalition agreement. He also met with the group to guide them on the key watch outs for the group's proposed activities in the US. I am so grateful, that I wanted to thank Mr. Kemnitzer publicly and to alert others with a bad car deal to contact him, especially a teenager like me that desperately needed help.
I went to purchase a vehicle at and ended up with a nightmare of a contract of about $55,000, which made up of being; overcharged for the vehicle, inflated negative equity on my leased vehicle, and adding an additional $8800 of worthless accessories and insurances. This all happened without the dealership checking my ability to pay for this huge amount. I am very thankful that Mr. Kemnitzer took my case on a contingency. He seemed to immediately grasp the situation and using his knowledge of the law, knew exactly what buttons to push to get the deal done. He showed compassion and at the same time guided me on how to purchase a car in the future from dealerships that use hard sells tactics.
He quickly reached a settlement to unwind the deal by cancelling the contract. I walked away without owing the dealer anything. It was an incredible outcome for me.
I would highly recommend Mr. Kemnitzer for his knowledge, expertise and negotiating skills that prevented me from having to file bankruptcy and having poor credit for many years to come.

Bryan Kemnitzer is a very bright attorney, with great skills as a negotiator as proven by the very desirable results he accomplished for us on two occasions one in 1993 and again in 2016. In each case he has shown extreme knowledge of the law, the ability to negotiate from a position of strength and to reach agreement quickly.
There was no Avvo during my first experience in 1993. So since he just completed our second case with my wife's granddaughter, I wanted to take the opportunity to write about my experience on Yelp to emphasis the importance of having an asset such as Bryan on your side. I had a used 1990 Allante with about 32,000 miles. One day the entire brake system failed and had the vehicle towed to the dealer. I began to negotiate with General Motors to replace my car with a brand new one. We reached the point where GM staff could not go the distance to meet my demand. At this point I needed an attorney to close the deal and wrap it up. Bryan was that person. He carefully reviewed the frequency of visits to the Cadillac service center and determined on the spot that the Lemon Law was applicable in this case. He took the case on a contingency basis. He wrote a great letter following the law, detailing damages, loss of use, and penalties. This is where Bryan really shines because once GM received his letter, they responded by agreeing to provide me with a brand new 1993 Allante, at no cost to me. GM also paid the attorney fee. I would recommend to anyone that is confronted with a car deal that has gone sour to contact Bryan.
Based on my first experience we turned to Bryan again for a case involving strong tactics used by dealer to sell a 19 year old an expensive vehicle that exceeded her ability to pay and then to make matters worse added worthless accessories to further increase the price. Bryan again displayed his prowess to negotiate and was successful in unwinding the deal. This was an incredible outcome for our granddaughter. It taught her a great lesson without the pain of having to go through bankruptcy and bad credit for many years. We are very grateful and would highly recommended Bryan Kemnitzer to anyone.

I don’t have a ton of experience with lawyers, but would 100% recommend working with Cary after utilizing him to help with our prenuptial agreement. Cary was knowledgeable, quick to respond, and made the process as easy and straightforward as possible.
Since Cary was my lawyer and my partner had a different lawyer, I can tell you that our experience was one of extreme differences. While Cary was no nonsense, great at listening and modifying the document to support our wishes, and respectful of our timeline- my partners lawyer was an absolute nightmare for us both.
One large difference between the two was that Cary had a flat rate fee and my spouses lawyer charged by the hour. Because of this, I firmly believe his lawyer drew the process out as much as possible, often completely disregarding our express wishes, and did everything extremely last minute- causing a lot of stress and unnecessary anxiety for us all.
That said, Cary did a fabulous job handling working with someone so unimpressive, and I believe is the only reason we ended up with a document at all.

There are a lot of good lawyers out there, but when your child is in trouble, you need a GREAT lawyer, and that's where Mike Silveira comes in. Today, Mike contacted us to share the fantastic news that our son's case was dismissed. This was no easy feat. Our son received a DUI in Nov. 2020, and to make matters worse, fentanyl (not intentionally ingested) was found in his system.
