I was heavily in debts and was being sued by one of the collectors. A friend of mine recommended that I should file for bankruptcy chapter 7 so I searched online for a bankruptcy lawyer and came across J. Singer Law Group.
I contacted Mr. Singer, told him my financial issue and why I couldn't pay them. He accepted my means test and explained the process to me. It became that I hired him and he represents me.
I am so glad I hired him to take care of the bankruptcy for me. He is a godsend. I have to do part of the work too but It was worth it. He got my debt wipe clean and clean start. My case got discharged. Thanks to J. Singer and his law group for making that happen.

My wife and I were completely bamboozled by a salesman in a Marriot resort located in Orlando Florida. He used religion and family to completely convince us this purchase was not a timeshare. Oh how wrong we were. We purchased his sales package only to find out 1 month later that it was a con job. We contacted the this law firm out of desperation, and let me tell you this decision was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. I initially contacted Aronow Law due to a collection that was filed against me. This issue was a symptom of a larger debt problem that I needed help untangling, and Darren and his team (especially Amanda and Jaime) were able to provide me with a variety of solutions to help me pay down my debt, negotiate with creditors, and secure financing to help consolidate.

Frank handled my case and I have nothing but positive words to express about his services. Watching so many of William Mattar’s funny commercials, I never thought I’d be needing the assistance of his office. My son made the call for me as I lay in the trauma unit at Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital after a car crash close to my home on Christmas morning 2023. Updated review. I cannot stress to anybody reading this enough: who you hire matters and you get what you pay for. Attorney’s have case after case slide across their desk. It’s a job at the end of the day to most. If Aaron Shapiro or the force that is Amanda Schaffer takes your case, TRUST THEM. Full disclosure: I am a nightmare client. On a scale from 1-10, I’m an 11 in terms of annoying. My son is my absolute world. I have been a “white pony” more times than you can imagine. Over-billed. None of it made sense. Those attorneys cared about a paycheck. Aaron and Amanda are not only EXCELLENT attorneys, they’re good people. They have a backbone. Their time is valuable. They’re not cheap. Know that. When your child, freedom, or immigration status is on the line — don’t put it in the hands of someone who treats you like a file. The legal progress is exhausting (mentally and financially — I know it all too well.) It’s unfair. Read that again.
No attorney should ever promise you a victory. Here’s what this random stranger who’s been put through the wringer for 3 years can promise you first hand — this firm cares and they’re your best shot.

What bankruptcy attorney doesn't include a broken tenancy lease in a chapter 7 bankruptcy?

Perhaps all the money I paid them, (why is there a RED FLAG on the bankruptcy court documents. INDICATING THAT I QUALIFIED IN FORMA PAUPERIS AS A POOR PERSON,) should be returned?
ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING I COULD'VE RECEIVED A PRO BONO COURT APPOINTED LAWYER, AS I AM AND WAS A SERVICE CONNECTED DISABLED VETERAN DISPLACED FROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA 2004 HURRICANE SEASON...ALONG WITH BEING INDIGENT!

Hiring a New York attorney can be a nerve wracking process. If you are like me, you first have to endlessly interview attorneys to find one that is even willing to undertake your matter if its not worth millions. Then, after you finally find the willing few, you select the one you are most comfortable with and hope for the best. Fortunately for me, this time around, I came across Mary Madeline Roberts. Right off the bat, I had a great feeling with her. She was extremely knowledgeable and versed in contractual matters and guided me every step of the way through the entire process. She raised extremely important issues that I would never have considered had I proceeded by myself and has already saved me more time and money than I can relate. Also, she was very generous with her time and spent a lot of time with me upfront getting to know me and learn about my needs before I even retained her. Most of all, she never nickle and dimmed me, charging me for every little thing along the way in order to pump up my fees. This is a rarity that I really really appreciated about her and unheard of in New York in my experience. There are so many firms out there that really take advantage of the little guy and I can tell you the Ms. Roberts is NOT one of them..... I highly recommend Ms Roberts to anyone with a contract dispute or who needs a great attorney who is highly competent, effective , gives you a great over all feeling and who treats you very fairly at the end of the day. The best decision I made was hiring Cannon Kearney to represent my fiance with his child support case. Every attorneys office I called prior to him wanted a consultation fee without even hearing the situation or our needs.
