My experience with Shapiro Legal Group PLLC WAS GREAT. I must say the representative that called me was very nice and he made me feel comfortable with the whole process and explained in detail how everything went from here. There's no amount of money that could buy out the suffering with headache's and everything else that goes along with the tumor, but the people (same people who made some COVID injections) (Pfizer) let millions of women get the Depo- Provera shot for over a decade while neglecting to label the side affect that it could cause brain tumors. At least they could do is compensate/ Settle out of court with us women who did develop a brain tumor due to their negligence

Long overdue review! Mehdi is truly an amazing lawyer who cares. I had a complicated family court case while simultaneously an ongoing criminal case with my abusive ex. I was in postpartum and it was the beginning of separation. I was very hyper vigilant and probably not the easiest to deal with, but Mehdi fully supported me through both cases. He took my life chaos with stride. He always fought hard for me in the court room. He even advocated for me to the ADA in the separate criminal case pushing the case further than it would have without him. I sometimes had to remember he was my lawyer and not my therapist! He gave me so much advice and honestly strength. Sharing a child with an abuser is no fun. We did get everything we asked for in Family Court which was such a relief. It wouldn’t have happened with any other lawyer, only Mehdi. I truly believe that. After Family Court ended he contacted me to check in and show support. He has worked with many women who have experienced DV so he gets it. Hopefully we don’t end up back in Family Court, but if we do He’s our GoTO… If he will have us again. Ha. Ha. We love you Mehdi!

During the covid period I was in a mess operating my business. Our creditors refused to offer any payment facilities. In desperation we had reached out to Attorney Jeb Singer for advice.
He listened to me carefully and explained all the options including negotiating with lenders. Having failed, he suggested bankruptcy.

It isn’t my intention to make my review this long, but it’s the only way to truly share my experience. I’ll pay it forward. After months of contemplating, researching the subject and reaching the conclusion I’m truly in the worst of financial troubles, I still wasn’t 100% sure if I could or should go through with bankruptcy. I wasn’t there yet. I was terrified at the thought. Enter Mr. Singer. The first thing was the website. It was very different than most. It’s put together right. It’s not intimidating. So I called the number. To my surprise Mr. Singer picks up the phone. Not an answering machine or secretary or anything. He doesn’t know me and is talking to me like I’m a family member. Like his grandson or son. He spoke to me about ME. With dignity and respect. Not about money or what I did wrong. Not about My mistakes. But is this action now apart of my life’s journey? Do I need to start over? That changed everything for my decision going forward without any fear. Elliot who’s apart of Mr. Singers team is the nicest guy ever. He made the process very easy for me. I had a very complex case before the Erie Co. Family Court. I wish I met Anthony Cervi, Esq. years ago. I was dealing with opposition who cares about nothing but themselves; not the child. My wife and I were completely bamboozled by a salesman in a Marriot resort located in Orlando Florida. He used religion and family to completely convince us this purchase was not a timeshare. Oh how wrong we were. We purchased his sales package only to find out 1 month later that it was a con job. We contacted the this law firm out of desperation, and let me tell you this decision was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. Not only did they save us from a world of debt but they also did it in a fashion with effortless ease. They always maintained updates and kept us in the loop. As for someone who is a victim of sexual assault. I came across this law firm hoping to be taken as a client but unfortunately this did not happen. Don’t get me wrong, the staff is very nice. However, they make it seem like you are talking to Norma for the 1 hour intake call on the website but really you are speaking to a Law Clerk named Roshelle who was also very nice. I did not appreciate the fact, they didn’t have the decency to call me to tell me the unfortunate news. I had to scroll through a bunch of emails to find an email from Norma. If you have to pay a $275 fee (only refundable if they don’t take you as a client) just for a person to get information about your legal situation when other lawyers do it for free is kind of crazy.

Hiring a New York attorney can be a nerve wracking process. If you are like me, you first have to endlessly interview attorneys to find one that is even willing to undertake your matter if its not worth millions. Then, after you finally find the willing few, you select the one you are most comfortable with and hope for the best. Fortunately for me, this time around, I came across Mary Madeline Roberts. Right off the bat, I had a great feeling with her. She was extremely knowledgeable and versed in contractual matters and guided me every step of the way through the entire process. She raised extremely important issues that I would never have considered had I proceeded by myself and has already saved me more time and money than I can relate. Also, she was very generous with her time and spent a lot of time with me upfront getting to know me and learn about my needs before I even retained her. Most of all, she never nickle and dimmed me, charging me for every little thing along the way in order to pump up my fees. This is a rarity that I really really appreciated about her and unheard of in New York in my experience. There are so many firms out there that really take advantage of the little guy and I can tell you the Ms. Roberts is NOT one of them.....
