E. Alexander Laird from the beginning gave me hope. I had put myself in a bad situation. There were many variables that could have landed me in jail but Alexander Laird did his best to keep me out. From the shootout, the drugs, and other externalities, he kept me out of jail while having my case thrown away. I’m grateful for his work. Once we found out my case was over, his reaction was equally as excited as mine. A lawyer that’s committed and as joyful as him as hard to find. After consulting with several attorneys; I chose to hire Mr. Knipe to defend me in my DWI case. He was very knowledgeable on all parts of the process. The time spand from my first consultation to the next meeting at my court date; was several months apart. After just one meeting he retained all the information necessary to defend me the best way possible. He kept me updated throughout the wait leading up to the court date. He came completely prepared on the day of court; he was ready for every angle of defense. The prosecutor added some last minute evidence into the case the morning of the court. He was able to analyze the new evidence quickly, and add it into our defense case. He was confident, and so went to trial in hopes to have all charges dropped. His questioning of the arresting officer, and ability to highlight important evidence was exceptional. He left no angle of defense untouched. He was able to win the case, and get the DWI dismissed. About a year ago I was in a car wreck, my very first, and I was not at fault. Unfortunately, though the situation turned on me after my lawyer at Morris Bart turned down my case during my treatment for body injuries. I was told that I did not have insurance, which left me on my own with injuries that continued to have me in pain.
