My case was very complex, beyond scary for me and in a different state (not in GA). I came across Foss and his firm when doing a search for sexsomnia. From the minute that we started speaking he made me feel understood, heard and started putting me at ease. His partners were amazing as well. Their methodical approach was world class and I found Foss's practical intelligence to only be surpassed by his emotional intelligence. Foss was very thorough in everything he did from investigation to validating facts to learning the personalities of the court and DA. He obviously had learned much over his years in practice and had a plan, but was not so rigid that he did not adjust with the situation. Always thinking ahead, he was prepared for different possibilities in each instance. A very intelligent gentleman who used good manners and remained calm at every turn. He was interested in hearing our input about the case and answering any questions we had. He communicated, even over communicated, to make sure we understood. Although the case was long, he was just as engaged at the end as at the beginning. We felt like we mattered to him as people and not just another win he could chalk up. We hope to never need his services again, but wouldn't hesitate a moment to engage him if the need arose.

After some searching, I found Foss Hodges and set up a time and an interview. Foss wanted to meet the entire family and the friends anyone who could show up, Foss began to introduce himself and more importantly wanted to know about me and my family. Foss cared it was the first time I had spoken to someone who wanted to actually hear from my family and was willing to speak with them about the case to help ease any confusion we may have. Also, a huge plus was he wanted to work with experts, and he had some of his own including wanting to give the one I had in mind a call and to at least learn with them. Foss gave us a checklist to do with everything he needed and as well as anything we thought would help him in any way. Then we went to work, we were a team working towards one goal and that was to prove my innocence and to put my family back together. Foss Hodges first act of business is very unique, it's to stop and indictment if it hasn’t been indicted already. He states very clearly, I can't promise you anything but the fact I will give you the best effort and I am going to put in the work. Any lawyer that tells you they can promise you a dropped case or an innocent verdict is something to pay attention to because that is not a thing. Foss then asks me to take a polygraph and then came to my house personally to do a walk through and see my house and exactly how the incident transpired. Foss took the extra steps to fully understand what happened and educated himself about the step by step instead of just taking my statement and that’s it. Foss wants to be there and see it with his own eyes, then after that he wants to try to meet the District Attorney to stop the Indictment if possible. We waited a year and a half it felt like before the DA responded to him then she would talk about meeting and then leave the office and someone else would get the case, or it would be “lost” for a few months then a new DA would take it and not respond to him all over again. Foss was persistent and never stopped with the correspondence to try to get a meeting to show the binder he built with all of his hard work and the expert testimonies with the polygraph test and all the Character reference letters with photos of the family and all. Foss kept my family updated and was very frequent with phone calls and if you had a rough time, you could just call him to talk, he was there for me and my wife in a time where we didn’t know what to do. Foss fought for my life for 3 years he won a bond modification to get me home to my family then 8 months later he went on to meet with the DA over my case and she dropped all charges over a six-minute phone call with my wife. Foss Hodges gave me my life back I have never seen anyone care or work so hard for anyone in my life, he was exceeding and doing things every lawyer I worked with before was just not there. I would trust Foss hodges with my life again and I am telling you if you are uncertain about the situation you are in and if you are reading this, I know your scared like I was. Please just give him a call and at the very least listen to what he has to say let him hear your story and then let him work for you like he did for me. He can't promise you the same outcome as me but that’s what he told me too and here I am writing this review after being free from the nightmare with a healthy family working on my master's because of this man. I owe him my life.

Gunner Pak was wonderful to work with. He fought for me and got me the best possible outcome. When there was a mistake on the courts end gunner fought to make things right and answered questions very quickly. Oh my God! Never in my wildest dream did I ever think I would need a lawyer, but I am blessed to have Mr. Orlando as a friend, who was able to get Mr Scott (my lawyer) to reach out to me ASAP. Being on workman comp really blew through my savings. The firm was very interested in my case and encouraging. When the settlement finally came in, I was satisfied, but my lawyer wasn't. He said, "That's not enough for what you went through, let me see if I can get maybe 5K more for you". Well he did better than that, he got me 12K more! The check cleared and I'm hoping to never need a lawyer again, but if I do this firm will/is my only choice.

The consultation with secretary/answering/paralegal was off putting. She asked questions that made no sense, Then asked why a case was put off by a solicitor for so long? That was a very huge red flag... Next when I told this assistant I wanted to do the attorney consult for $350 she starts asking me more questions? I'm assuming she misheard my request but at this point I was past wanting services with this firm. When I told her thank you but ill look elsewhere, she laughs and says "We've never lost a case". Unfortunately you lost a potential client. So 1 star.

For all those parents that have multiple marriages and want to make sure their own blood children are treated fairly through Probate STAY CLEAR of using this attorney firm.
My Dad died June 15th, Father’s Day. He was married to his 3rd wife. My Dad has two BLOOD children, myself and my brother. His 3rd wife has two daughters. My Dad’s second wife had three boys. Unfortunately, my dad’s second wife was murdered on a business trip in Mexico.
WHAT A MESS… BUT IS TYPICAL OF TODAY'S FAMILY MAKE-UP!!! You cannot imagine the emotional trauma that my brother and I experienced being raised with other families we did not know. I’ve always wondered why society does not mention the mental anguish that the original blood children are exposed to when you blend all these families together.
My Dad’s estate is large, and my brother and I had concerns on how he would handle the inheritance upon his death due to all these multiple blended families. My Dad was an executive for a large lighting company and was a very hard worker, always working. My Dad and I were very close. He worked up and until his death at 86 years old. I always asked him why he worked so hard. He laughed and stated, “building up your inheritance son”. “When I leave this earth you and Randy should never have to work.” I can at least leave you with that!
So, from time to time, I confronted my dad and asked him what happens with the estate when you die. It is very hard to ask a parent that but again this is the mental anguish the original blood children go through when they are exposed to blended families. He ALWAYS stated son upon my death contact McCurdy & Candler and speak to this specific attorney and he will guide you and your brother through the probate. Upon his death we did contact McCurdy & Candler and found that the original attorney had retired. So, they handed my dad’s probate to one of the principles of the firm.
My brother and I did get a copy of the Will and upon reviewing it found that there was nothing left for my brother and I. In speaking to the newly appointed attorney he saw that my brother and I were distraught, so he offered to advise my brother that he knew of an agreement between my Dad’s 3rd wife and my Dad about my brother and I’s inheritance.
Once we started pushing him on what this agreement was, he backed off and then decided to stop all communication with my brother and I. And now he has demanded that my stepmother, Dad’s 3rd wife, stop communicating with my brother and I regarding my dad’s probate. This attorney will not provide my dad’s own blood children with statues of this probate. His last correspondence to me with my dad’s 3rd wife copied. In part his email stated:
Mr. Darnell,
I have asked Mrs. XXXXXXX not to reply directly on matters related to the probate.
I can assure you that my dad did not hire McCurdy & Candler solely to represent his 3rd wife! WE ARE HIS BLOOD CHILDREN. My Dad is turning in his grave right now!!! How dare this firm exclude my dad’s first born and blood children through this very emotional time.
Instead of alienating his blood children this firm should be embracing the entire family and keeping all of us informed. If anyone understands probate, there is much information that must be learned to go through probate. It has now been 8 months since my dad’s death. NO PROBATE
BEWARE…PARENTS that have multiple marriages with BLENDED families DO NOT engage this firm to handle your estate and more importantly your probate. THEY WILL NOT PROTECT YOUR BLOOD CHILDREN!!!! This was not the intention of my dad or he would never have continuously asked my brother and I to contact this firm for information about this estate.

I hired Mike to handle an administrative matter to terminate probation based on new legislation allowing such an action. I wasn't sure what the outcome would be so the matter was a little speculative, but turned out to be money very well spent. He was able to handle the prosecutor's concerns and obtained consent order to terminate my case. In addition he was able to secure the sealing of my record and order to seal in the same effort. The fixed price legal fee was very reasonable.

I don't know where to start nor can I find the words to thank Mr. Hodges and his colleagues and Firm for their swift and rapid response to false accusations brought against me in conjunction with a divorce. From the moment I contacted Mr. Hodges' firm, a call was returned same day after business hours to take information to understand the situation and discuss my case. This was followed by a succession of calls and emails and meetings followed by execution of the recommended plan moving forward until the case was resolved in my favor. His office was quick to return calls and emails no matter if they were during or after business hours. He and his team each gave me their cell phone numbers and encouraged to reach out if I had any questions or needed to discuss anything. Mr. Hodges and his team were very organized and knew exactly what needed to be done and thought outside of the box and were relentless in proving my innocence and resolving my case. Every time an email or call came from him or his office, it made me happy and not afraid to answer it as I knew I was in GREAT hands. Mr. Hodges was a God send in one of the most difficult times in my life. When I first spoke to him I was completely devastated. The unique circumstances of my case were very difficult to discuss but Foss truly went the full distance to assure me, my family and friends that I would have the support I needed and put me at ease. Foss made me feel like I had someone who truly believed in me, especially when I didn't. In spite of the unique circumstances of my case Foss had all the incite, the confidence and strength I lacked when I needed it. Now, I consider him a friend. He is one of the best Men I have ever known. I truly don't know how he does this job, I certainly know I couldn't but I am very, very glad to have found him.
He was extremely sensitive to my specific situation and was my navigator through a very dark time. I truly don't know how I would have gotten through this time without his council and his patience. His expertise was invaluable. He took the time to learn all the details of my situation and really provide the absolute best care and provision for my defense. Alex Merritt has recent experience as an ADA in Dekalb County, so he knows how that system works and what point of view an ADA for Dekalb County will have. He is persistent and persuasive. He got all my charges dropped without a hearing within a month of hiring him, when my previous attorney did not get that done in the 3 months I had him. After talking with Ms Daniels I found out that we were in agreement about a lot of things.
She is very up and above board and very trustworthy and confident.

I took out a TPO to protect myself per the polices request, and I felt I needed legal counsel. I had never been through any thing like this, and I was scared. I called Attorney Daniel's office, and she answered the phone personally. She was in court, and she asked if I would call her office and leave my name and phone number. She said I will call you as soon as I leave court. So, I called her office, and the person who answered the phone listened to me and said Attorney Daniels will take care of you. For some reason, I hung up the phone knowing I had made the right call. Attorney Daniels did call me as soon as she left court. I prayed to God that I would find the right attorney, and I did.
Attorney Daniels listened to me, my side of the story and went to work advocating on my behalf. She gave me her personal cell number and was always available to either talk or reply via texting, which is almost unheard of. Through this process, I learned how a attorney should treat a client, and that is with mutual respect and understanding. Not only did she advocate on my behalf, but she also gave me guidance through the entire process, which in turn gave me options in the outcome. She explained what to expect, what might happen and her intentions with representation.
With her honesty and my best interest from the start, I just knew in my heart I had chosen the right attorney. I understood that she believed in me and would do her best to advocate on my behalf as possible. There could have been several different outcomes in this situation, however, Attorney Daniels listened to my capabilities overall, and the end results were the best possible for me. I never felt alone during the entire process.

Mrs. Daniels has been a true blessing sent from above for my husband and I. Last year we were both falsely accused of felony crimes that we did not commit. Imagine being 4 months pregnant and being arrested and taken to jail with no priors, it was a nightmare experience and I feared for the health of my unborn child.
From the first time I spoke with Attorney Daniels she gave me the peace and confidence I needed to know she was going to handle this case for us and help us get our lives back. Not only was she very instrumental and successful in getting all the erroneous charges dropped against us she is also helping us in seeking justice for the crimes that were ironically committed against us.

Bob Ruben along with partner Doug Peters were incredible! I was falsely accused of molesting my 4 yr old daughter by a jealous ex and they fought hard for the truth and won my case. I contacted Peters, Rubin and Sheffield about the defense of my grandchild. I talked to Foss Hodges. My grandchild had been charged with Shaken Baby Syndrome which had become murder along with several other charges. After giving Foss the history of the charges that had been filed Foss set up an appointment for our family members with Robert Rubin, Dick Peters and him self to discuss the aspects of the case and how to proceed. Bob met with me the Sunday after getting out of jail. He was very professional and did not have to take on my case. He really seemed to care.
