I found Mr. Modica very professional, excellent communicator, easy to work with and strives to get the best outcome for clients. My 19 year old had gotten a reckless ticket and Mr. Modica fought the case to get 0 points and court fees. In January 2024, I went through an incredibly dark time in my life, I was framed and falsely accused, leading to my arrest with three felony charges and three misdemeanors. Mr. Funk was able to work a miracle. My husband had 21 felonies, with prior felonies in another state. I was given a dui in newark along other traffic offenses. I was looking at 3 months to a year of losing my license. Martin Knepper is wonderful. He helped us, with what we would call, a complex personal injury suit that evolved from a serious car accident on Route 95 in Delaware (we were hit by a truck). Unlike other lawyers that I interviewed, and one that I fired, he had a lot of knowledge, and expertise, that other attorneys we had spoken with didn't have.
His negotiation skills, his professionalism, his knowledge, and his fortitude allowed us to succeed in settling our case, in what we considered a fair settlement. A case that involved drivers and companies from multiple states.

Michael was very thorough. He listened carefully and based on the interview explained what could happen, what he would do and what I needed to do. He answered all questions I had and gave a rationale for expectations of me, himself and his staff. He was there throughout the whole process advising of doctor summaries and questioning my understanding of what happened and was happened. I am not aware of him failing to do anything. It was my first time being involved in a lawsuit so I was glad he was my lawyer. He made my involvement in responding to the insurance company minimal and resolved the case to my satisfaction.

Going through a custody battle can be confusing, exhausting and stressful. Especially, when you find out two months to trial the other side retained an attorney.
I decided it would be best to seek some form of counsel. I was referred to Mr. Tsakataras through another attorney. I immediately called because I had been praying for guidance, and this attorney gave him a stellar recommendation. I did my own research while awaiting the consultation meeting. His reputation was incredible! He has EXTENSIVE experience in custody matters. He has state / federal contracts in the family court system. This man has earned the respect; and you only do that by working hard! So, everything in me said “THIS, is exactly WHO you need to talk to!”
Fast forward to the Monday we were meeting, we ended up rescheduling because an emergency hearing was the following day he had to prepare for. I was timely notified by Steven (his paralegal) and informed of what was going on. How could I even be upset? That’s the type of person you WANT on your team. Somebody who is DEDICATED to your case and will FIGHT to see the best outcome.
Finally, it’s the day of the consult, he called me in a timely fashion; and he let me know how the process works; 50 minutes, i had already sent all my documentation to him- so even though it was via phone; it was as if I was in the office.
He told me the retainer fees, and asked me if I wanted to be prepared, OR, if I would be able to pay the fee. I opted for preparation as trial is set for next month and the fees as a result was going to be very high.
During this consultation, he outlined in details which factors are the factors I should be focused on, how to highlight them, how to present them to court. He gave me valuable information that you really can’t put a price tag on. Once the 50 minutes was up, he did not rush to get off the phone. He made sure I was able to take very detailed notes, giving me dates, telling me how to get things admitted into court and before the judge.
I feel very confident in my case, however, he has made my confidence level boost while fright of the attorney has diminished.
I 110% recommend this attorney and I am so glad I had the opportunity to speak with him. It’s evident that he cares a lot more about the people he HELPS than he does about the money; I can only pray he continues to have great success in all paths of his life and continues to be blessed.

Mr. Lyons is the best lawyer I have ever met or ever used. I have met 100’s or lawyers due to my field in Information Technology and used a few in my personal life. I can say without a doubt that Dan is a skilled attorney and a man who cares about his clients. I called other lawyers before Dan and they were ready to swipe my credit card before knowing anything about the case. Dan called me and insisted we speak in person, explained the facts, looked through the details, and set my mind at ease. A second DUI where I had confessed to smoking, given blood, and had every right to be pulled over. During the entire process Dan kept me informed, gave me the most likely outcome, and then got me off of ALL CHARGES! I didn’t even get a driving citation and didn’t have to go to court for a trial. I hired Michael when he first was starting out in Wilmington working under David Haley and my Aunt Vivian. Kevin is the best lawyer I ever had. When you get into any kind of legal trouble you want a lawyer that will tell the truth and not just what you want to hear. I had dui case 10 years ago and forgot to do the last part to restore my license. I got pulled over and got 4 tickets. One of them if found guilty I would have to serve jail time. Kevin was so knowledgeable about the law and the process that he was able to work a defense for me that got almost everything dismissed. The important thing was I was not going to jail. Kevin is a staight shooter and a fair priced lawyer. I would recommend him to anybody that fine themselves in a criminal case.
