This man is worth every single penny. WORTH IT. I have never seen an attorney more prepared and ready to attack in court. Custody court was mentally the toughest thing I had ever gone through along with living 300 miles away. Mike helped me through every step. He made sure I was clear on everything and understood what was going on at all times. We had telephone conferences and I only had to come in office a few times.
His ability to recollect laws and cases in court is astounding and he made my ex’s lawyer look like he’d never been to law school or passed a bar exam a day in his life. Mike came fully prepared to rock my ex’s world and did. I have FULL SOLE CUSTODY with supervised visits for the other party. If I had to do it all over again he’s the ONLY attorney I would consider. I wish he actually practiced in the state I live in.

What can I say??? This process was smooth as ever. I spoke with an attorney in December just to get information on how the process works he explained and went over every question I could think of. We spoke again in March and got the process started and literally within a week the attorney and his case manager were pulling reports getting out petition ready for court. Less than a month later we were having our hearing before the judge. Smooth sailing and not even 90 days later we are discharged and free of our burden debts and on the road to rebuilding. I can’t thank our/your team enough for everything you have done.

Dustin Hightower was recommended to me durring the worst time of my life. I will be honest, going to meet with him I had my doubts how anyone could make my situation any better. However, after meeting with Dustin just one time, he already had me & my husband at ease. Like he said "Let me do your worrying for you."
I was falsely accused of first degree forgery, which is a felony. I have never, EVER, been in any sort of trouble in my life so this entire situation was not only terrifying for me, it was humiliating. All I wanted was for this unbelievable nightmare to go away.
When I retained Dustin's services, he made sure that I was aware of how serious this charge was against me, and that he would do everything he could do to protect me. He told me that we would work together no matter how long it took.
Well, I am thrilled to say that 2 months after I was charged with this, Dustin met with the DA and had this felony charge DISMISSED completely. He did what I needed. He made this go away. Bridgett provided excellent legal assistance for my traffic ticket case. Her communication was outstanding, responding promptly via email, even during weekends and after hours when necessary. She successfully got my ticket dismissed without any points on my record or insurance increases, which was absolutely worth the investment. Her effectiveness in handling out-of-state cases was impressive, as I was traveling through GA from Colorado at the time of the incident. I have nothing but praise for Atty McLeod..she is the consummate professional. I truly believe that it was the grace of God that led me to her. At the recommendation of another attorney, I walked into her office approximately a year and three months ago not knowing what to expect. Attorney McLeod listened to me and fought to make sure received fair division of the property; yet, she gave me realistic expectations throughout the process. There were times when I shut down and was not communicating with Atty McLeod as regularly as needed but she never gave up on me.
In the end, I received more that I expected or requested and I attribute this to Atty McLeod's advisement and stellar representation in court. I will always love and admire this lady because not only was she my lawyer, but she was also my confidant. I always felt that she believed me and that she genuinely cared about my well being.

Run from this attorney, run. Yes it is fair to say our case didn't go the way we would have liked it to have gone. In fairness the reason we hired her was because of the great reviews received not only from an internet sources but also from other clients she represented in their cases. Our experience with Jennifer was a complete disaster. We have multiple children in this case, she couldn't remember if they were boys or girls, she rarely returned phone calls or emails even after following up multiple times for a responses, her paralegal was so rude at times on the phone to a point that we was scared to even call, there was times she didn't even remember what we had consulted with her on and then when we was at court she would say this is the first she was hearing of it and then when we reminded her we discussed this with her she would say she must have forgot, we would have to chase paper work and often we would learn we should have received it weeks prior, their was no prep prior to any court hearings we would show up at court and wing it from the hip, she showed up to court completely unprepared ever time. Please be carful....

He doesn’t do what he promises to do. He will tell the family of the incarcerated person one thing and tell the incarcerated person another. But he will darn sure take your money. He will come with offers that have already been put on the table and expect that to suffice. Do not hire this law firm if you want your loved one to be taken care of. Not for any criminal cases. Very surprised and disappointed at his treatment of clients. I am surprised that he has a 5 stars rating. I hired Mr Hedge for representation. Paid him as he accepted half of the cost. Did not hear from him frequently afterwards. He held up my time as a legal representation. Without a month or even weeks of noticed he dropped my case. Meaning he dropped my case 30 minutes before the arraignment day in court. He was very deceiving. Like a wolf in sheep clothing. I had to talk to the judge to grant me an opportunity to get a public offender or defend myself. Thank you God for showing favor. The judge allowed me 30 more days until another arraignment. Zaine Hedge was very cold hearted careless. He kept my discovery and did not share important information to defend my case. Very scary situation knowing that I gave this attorney my all of money. He failed to stick to helping me. He held back information not making me aware. He should not be a judge for Douglas County Georgia, because he doesn't have good decision making capabilities. This could harm many innocent people lives and convict the possible innocent. He would possibly biolate your citizen rights. He would not help you to prove that you are not guilty.

My son accepted a plea deal and the Judge asked him if he was satisfied with his attorney he said no. The judge then could not accept the plea. I was not understanding what just happened I asked Ms Copes. Her reply was yo son is facing 31 years in prison because he was not happy with how I represented him. While shaking her head and her finger. . I then said back to her that is true she never called him back. Instead of being professional and saying in non ghetto way. She then followed me out of the courtroom and knowing how angry I was and kept arguing back and forth with me instead of trying to show a little compassion. I've never been treated that way and will not tolerate it. I'm not one of those parents that thinks my child is perfect in no kind of way. I believe everyone has the right to be treated fair and with respect. This attorney is getting paid for doing nothing. Just because your court appointed does not mean you don't have to do your job and follow the law and be professional. I can't believe Douglas County would allow someone like her to step foot in a court room.
