Ryan is one in a million! I hired him based on his awesome reviews. I’m so thankful for the decision I made on having Ryan represent me. With COVID my case had been delayed for a year. He really seemed like he cared about me and my future. I never had to wait long for him to return my calls or text. So a year had passed and charges were pressed on me. In a panic I called Ryan on a Friday night and he got right back to me even though he was out to dinner with his family. I honestly didn’t expect to hear from him until Monday. From start to finish, through all the ups and downs expected with litigation taking place over the course of a year and a half, Truitt and associates helped me find resolve in my case even if the outcome was unexpected. I had a great experience using Mr. Jarjour as my divorce attorney. I had filled out my name and number online to have him call me regarding my situation and within a couple hours he reached out to me and already had information pulled up from my case that he looked up. I was very impressed from the start. Sam is very thorough and straightforward but also very personable. I hired Mr. Chapel for a simple modification and paid him $1,500 upfront on Nov. 13th. He knew the severity of my situation concerning my children and needing to get home so I could get my kids back home in my care and he sat on my money for 3 weeks. His staff did all his work and scheduled me a hearing on Dec 5th. On that day, Mr. Chapel walked into the courtroom blind, with no knowledge of my cases at all. He tripped over the microphone and made me looked so stupid. He withdrew my modification all together and never got me back on the calendar. He then never did anything that a modification entails, spoke with the prosecutor for 2 hrs dogging me out, when modifications have nothing to do with the prosecutors period. Then when I tried to explain my situation he told me I need to quit talking. In mid sentence he told me how beautiful I was and told his staff that he likes his coffee like he likes his women. Then he looked me in my face and said he no longer wants to represent me for no reason at all. He refused to give me my money back and didn't care one bit about the importance of me getting home to my children during the holidays or other matters involved. He is a scam and nowhere near what his ratings explain. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

I was hit by a drunk driver and had some medical bills I was getting pushback about from their insurance company. I went and spoke with Justin. He was able to get those bills paid and negotiated a settlement amount higher than I told him I would settle. I strongly recommend Pat Arata over any other lawyer for representation for an DWI(OWI)
I unfortunatley highered another lawyer from Crown Pt, IN before calling Pat Arata.
I wish I hired Pat initially. Unlike the other lawyer Pat cares about his clients, does not practice unethical law and will get back to you when you leave a message.
I was arrested for a OWI and read all these good reviews about the "other guy" and therefore went with him. Yes there are ways to manipulate the system and only look like the "best".
Pat will take the time to discuss your options and will do anything to help you restore your driving priveleges. He knows how to fight for your rights. He has written books and regulary runs seminars to teach other lawyers about DWI's and OWI's.
Pat may charge more than some other lawyers but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for"
Also Pat will travel to other areas even if your OWI is out of the Fort Wayne area.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND PAT IF YOU WANT A FIGHTING CHANCE.

SUMMARY: Our negative experience with Podlaski LLP forced us to retain the services of a completely different attorney just to get answers (and eventually a small refund).
SHORT STORY: We hired Podlaski LLP in October 2022 to fight against a moving company that breached their contract and cost us thousands of dollars in damages. To their credit, Podlaski was able to successfully obtain a judgement in our favor approximately 7 months after we signed on.
However, over the next 14 months their failure to execute asset searches, their frequent in-office turnover and their lack of communication cost us any opportunity to collect on our judgement. All the while, we were paying thousands of dollars in monthly invoices for nothing but inaction. After trying to get answers on the phone -- and being billed for it -- we finally decided as a last resort to throw the kids in the car and drive 400+ miles to their office in Ft. Wayne, IN, to get answers. Our visit with Kevin Podlaski confirmed our fears -- our case was now being handled by the third assistant attorney in less than two years, causing any forward progress to regress while the new attorney was brought up to speed. In turn, the asset search we were waiting for (and invoiced for) never happened. To top it all off, the very crucial advice that our case was a “dry hole” was given to us by Kevin Podlaski, and we left the meeting (and started our 7 hour drive home) feeling like that information would have completely changed our strategy had we known it sooner in the process. Kevin made it clear that our case had very little chance to collect damages, yet it took 2 years and an in-person visit for that information to get communicated. But that’s not really what this firm would have wanted; they would have been out our $15,000+.
OUTCOME: I now understand why the Google reviews for Podlaski LLP are mostly positive. They offered us a $1,088 out of “empathy” for our situation, admitting no wrongdoing. In exchange, they asked us to sign a settlement agreement saying that we would not post ANYTHING to social media about our experience. If we violated the agreement, we would be subject to $10,000 in damages PER SOCIAL MEDIA POST. Obviously, our new attorney told us that this was insane and to throw the agreement in the garbage. We declined signing, and the refund check showed up a couple of weeks later.
I also noticed that Podlaski responds to every bad review, typically blaming technological errors for lack of communication or calling the reviewer dishonest. This leads me to believe there will be a similar attempt to mischaracterize us and our situation. However, I have all invoices, emails, a 3rd party attorney's opinion and an audio recording of our in-person meeting with Kevin Podlaski that can backup anything in dispute.
TL;DR: Podlaski was difficult to communicate with and dragged our case out as we kept paying them. If you need legal assistance in Indiana, look elsewhere.

I retained this law firm for a simple rental eviction. I have been charged almost $8000.00 for them to handle the eviction process. This does not include the damages hearing. I fired this firm before that hearing because I didn't want to get another $4000.00 bill just for that. I greatly regret using this firm. I spoke with other law firms in Fort Wayne, asking about their average cost for a standard eviction, and I was quoted in the $3000.00 to $4000.00 range. They charged me $800.00 in research hours for having a representative testify instead of the property owner. Property managers testify and represent the property owners on evictions every single day. Why is there so much time to research such a standard policy? They have charged me almost $1000.00 for them to compose questions for the eviction court date. Then, when we went to court, that lawyer told me I shouldn't testify and let the tenant have extra time to get out. They are charging a monthly fee for an open case—a monthly maintenance fee totaling around $1200.00. I thought I had asked all the proper questions when I spoke with them before retaining them. I guessed wrong.

I have never had a better experience with an attorney than I did with Randy Hammond. None of us enjoy it when we go through a divorce and need to hire an attorney, but Randy could not have been any better. Three things that are extremely important in an attorney is that they are knowledgeable, responsive, and professional and Randy is all 3 perfectly. He is also the perfect balance of calm when he needs to be but intense if he has to be. A year ago we hired him for a case. He did give us a bit of direction and showed up to one of the 3 trials we had. The one he came to, he was late and had to leave during the trial to grab more paperwork he'd left at the office, postponing the time we sat in the courthouse. We did not use much time with him and I asked in the beginning how our retainer would carry on in regards to time management. He assured me that if he didn't use his time that equated to the retainer we may get some back. In turn, I was sure to research the Indiana law as much as I could before the times we spoke with him (about a total of 5 15-30 min calls/in persons appointments), to which we discussed my research and how we'd present in court. Side note: My research was to ensure that I understood the law and I confirmed with him if my understandings were correct.
Ultimately after our last trial, The one that he was late to.. I tried to call his office for some other matters still pertaining to the same case and he never returned my calls. I left multiple messages with a secretary but have yet to make it down in person.
