Mr. Speck assisted me in handling my brother's DUI cases, which involved a couple of legal issues. Ray Raya represented me in early Spring of 2024. I was absolutely petrified, and sick to my stomach for months looking for a reputable lawyer. I received his contact information by word of mouth from a dear friend of mine. The day of court, I came in early but, he came in earlier. He shook my trembling hand, said it’s ok. I got it to a $100 dollar fine plus court costs. With my face bright red from fear and the lump in the back of my throat… I cleared my throat and managed to stumble out the words… am I going to lose my license?!! Tears welled up in my eyes, He said no you’re ok!! His smooth confidence just took so much anxiety away. I was petrified I’d lose my license and of course, the booming thoughts I obsessed about… how am I going to get to work?Am I going to lose my job and my home, if I can’t get to work?!!! My life is over!!! But just like that, he made a fantastic deal and I was so grateful. I got Eric lee as my lawyer for one of my court cases pro bono. I retained Eric as my lawyer for several court cases that I had. Which included obstruction of justice, a violation of restraining order and a burglary charge. For the obstruction of justice I just had to pay a small fine. Eric was able to get the violation of restraining order dropped down to a disorder persons contempt. Which I had to plead guilty to and received a years probation and minimal fines. For the burglary charge Eric was able to enter me into pti, pre trial intervention and I plead not guilty to the burglary accusations. So as long as I didn't get into anymore trouble it was as if the charge never happened. Which was good because I was looking at 2-5 years of jail time. I was entered into pti and received another year of concurrent probation and $125 of fines. I would highly recommend Eric lee for any criminal cases you might have. He was very helpful in my court cases and kept me out of prison.

Barry handled my civil case in Family court ultimately with a win. Courtney Schneider took over my case about towards the end of my sentencing thank God Courtney Stepped in as my new public defender because she went above and beyond for me and normally public defenders don’t work as hard for their clients, because they have such big caseloads. Michael Quinn, Esq represented me on my second offense and guided me through upgrading to my regular license without losing my motorcycle endorsement. He was honest and very helpful throughout the process.
Both attorneys advised me to take a driver's safety course to reduce points on my license. I have since learned to slow down as a third offense would not make me so lucky.

Tom Mallon
I’ve known Tom Mallon for a long time. I lived two blocks away his office in his early career. I remember asking about a business concern. I don’t exactly recall how things ended with the last interaction, but I will say that every other time Tom represented my case, I always was pleased and leaving in a better Condition.
In 1993 I was involved in a car accident. I was in a wheelchair for 13 years when I was struck on the side of the van I was driving. It was not my fault at all, and I had substantial injuries. I didn’t know what to expect. All I knew was that my life was altered a great deal for the second time.
Luckily, Tom took the reins. I remember when he hired a plane and got flew over the scene of my car accident and took pictures. Who does stuff like that? Tom!
He had people film me for a “ life in the life“. I felt like a movie star.
On top of that, I was able to be a productive and positive participant in life. Thanks for representing me, Tom. Thank you so much.

Just want to put a precautionary warning out there to anyone who might have a will, living will, power of attorney, or any other legal documents written by this firm: Please take all those documents to another lawyer to have them read and explained to you. Please ask as many questions as you can so you fully understand what was written by this law firm. Believe me, no matter how old they are or if they were written last week, I highly recommend having another lawyer look over those documents to either save yourself, or your loved ones, undue stress and anxiety in the future. Mr. Carmano was recommended to me through a friend of a friend. Mr. Carmano helped that client with his multiple DUI charges. He was able to lessen his suspension time by months. I had a DUI case and was facing 6 months of suspension and a ton surcharges and fees. With Mr. Carmano's years of experience and knowledge of the law he was able to file a motion, that I was pulled over for unjustified reasons. I have no record and had never been arrested before prior to this incident. Needless, to say his motion was accepted by the judge and my case was completely DISMISSED!! No DUI no surcharges no tickets no fees. Just a lesson learned! He also has a pleasant and informative secretary that will call you and email you to update you on your court dates. Overall, Mr Carmano is GREAT!! He is updated with the newest laws and is really there to help you. He is also easy to talk too and patient when explaining exactly what is going on in your case. I have worked with a handful of lawyers in my life, and although I didn’t end up going through with my case this time, I did have a great experience talking with Ms. Johnson about it. I found her to be very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and compassionate. She’s respectful but direct, which is actually a very difficult balance to maintain. Perhaps what I appreciated most about her was her constructive positivity, or maybe it’s better phrased, positive realism? I don’t know how to put this, but I think most people that live in American Society today will understand what I’m talking about: It’s so unhelpful to seek advice from people who blow sunshine and rainbows up your butt when the situation, as it stands, is not looking good and it needs to be addressed. Thanks to the things that Miss Johnson pointed out, I feel much more empowered to overcome my circumstances, albeit using a different path than I had previously imagined. I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking help, especially those who wish to work with someone who treats them with dignity, empathy, and respect. Sadly, that is not a given anymore, and I just find it extremely valuable, definitely worth touting on the internet.

I had a consultation with Ms Johnson yesterday and I am so happy I did. Although we are not going to take the case further together, I am planning on keeping her name in my back pocket for other issues in the future future because out of all of the lawyers I’ve interacted with in my life, (which is more than I would care to remember) I think Miss Johnson is really unique. When I went to see him the first time, he sounded as if he has been handling discrimination cases for years. 7 months and a few thousand dollars after I provided him with information, sorted out what needs to be done (because he doesn’t want to pay for assistant) nothing was done. He was supposed to get paid for filing and deposition, etc.
When I finally realized that he didn’t do anything and asked him to refund me and for my file, he then told me that he asked and was told that legally, I should’ve gone through other venues before I seek a lawyer.
Either he deliberately kept asking for money because he’s a con or he doesn’t know the law; either way, he is not someone you want anywhere near your case. To top it off, he told me that he KNOWS that he owes me, that he didn’t do anything but he “can’t afford to repay me” therefore, he will do something for me, like if I wanted to start a non for profit or fill out some forms “a few thousand dollars worth of forms?” rather than give me back what he owes me. Not only that he didn’t pay me back, sespite many calls and requests, he absolutely refuses to give me back my file. He promissed me many times that he'll be there and give them to me, and when I go to the appointment, he either is not there, or he simply tells me that he didn't get a chance to get the BOX from storage! They are not heavy, it's a few papers, what box.
Stay far, far away from him. He is an embarrassment to his profession.
