I really waited a few months to write this review just to snap back to reality and actually think about what I wanted to write since becoming a client of this prestigious law firm. If there was a 10 star button I would select it in a blink of an eye. This law firm is nothing short of what it represents "Proper Defense"!!! I came to Sally when she was fresh on her own 6 years ago and man let me tell you that odds were against me and Sally always stayed profession and keep it real told me how it was and what needed to be done. In 2011, I screwed up and drove under the influence. 2 months later, I discovered I was pregnant. Just picture going through the criminal justice system as someone that was drunk, WITH A BABY BUMP. Horrifying. I was so ashamed and terrified that I’d be waddling my way around jail, or unable to drive my newborn to dr appointments because I’d have no license. My dad (another Fresno attorney- civil, not criminal) hauled me to go see Chuck- and THANK GOD HE DID. My anxiety level was through the roof, and Chuck instantly calmed me down. He listened to every word, then explained in detail not only how things would go, but also his strategy that he’d devised after hearing what I wanted. He ensured that I’d be proactive in my behaviors prior to court (like attending meetings, going to classes, etc) and I left his office genuinely feeling like everything may not be great, but it would be okay. He made sure I never had to appear in court heavily pregnant, and when my son was born, I was fully able to handle all his care and dr appointments/transportation. Chuck had my back fully and saved my future, as well as my son’s. No amount of thanks is enough!

Anjeli is the Real Deal nothing about her is fake. I hired Anjeli after attending a court hearing with my grandson and his public defender and mother. After that i knew i had to do something to help him. I called juvenile court and they were amazingly kind and informative. They highly recommended Anjeli, for her remarkable reputation working with the courts and staff and her passion and compassion for people. She took a young mans prank and fought for a reduction in charges sped up the court calendar to expedite and get closure. Every single thing Anjeli did she communicated to my grandson and myself even taking time out in her hectic day to call in the evening. For me dealing with an attorney is especially stressful almost as bad as court, she made this procedure seemless. My experience was so amazing that when another grandchild found himself in a bit of trouble i was quick to ask for her council and when he found himself at his bottom she was able to push his case ahead. I was charged with several bogus lewd and lascivious acts. Mr. Freitas was warm and caring from the beginning. I was obviously shaken at the prospect of multiple consecutive life sentences but Mr. Freitas was always assuring (which eased my mind). I'm glad my son was able to work with Scott. He was there from start to finish. My sons were charged with and went to trial on double murder charges. The case was pretty huge in Fresno, and it seemed as if the odds were stacked against us for many reasons. Scott kept us informed of things that were going on, updated us with current information and saw my son through this rough time. Considering all the cases he handles daily, I didn't expect a whole lot in the beginning, however, I was proven wrong. I didn't feel as though my son was just another case on someone's desk. Scott was here for the family when he wasn't obligated to do so several times, and for all that he has done......I'm grateful and blessed as is my son. The charges for my sons were reduced to a Manslaughter - Imperfect Self Defense charge, which my family and my boys can live with, and that they believe was fair.
