I’m certain my case would not have been resolved as favorably as it was if it hadn’t been for Mr. Davenport. In our initial conversation, he listened intently and empathetically. He clearly laid out a plan for how we would approach the charges, and what we needed to do to give us the best chance fora positive outcome in a complicated case. I wanted to share my experience with Dixon Law Group in case anyone is looking for legal assistance, specifically with Probate issues. I contacted them in late October 2024 because I needed an attorney to help guide me through probate for my father's small estate after he passed without a will. After talking with the paralegal, I felt relieved that I had found someone knowledgeable and responsive that would help with this confusing legal matter. I agreed to use them for my issue. I should add that I'm not local so having an attorney in the area was a relief. I provided all the information requested and was told that I would have a "package" emailed to me that week. Over the next 2 months, I contacted the paralegal multiple times through email and phone to ask about the progress. I was always told that "I was just about to send you an email". Unfortunately, those emails were never sent or arrived. Their office wasted over 2 months of my time and added to my already high level of stress regarding what to do. I finally called them in early January 2025 to let them know that I would find someone else to help me. Their response was indifferent, which is what I expected, and their unprofessionalism was not addressed. I'm not sure if this is how they treat all their clients, but I was extremely disappointed.

Mr. Davenport does a good job of walking you through the process and making you realize that it's not the end of the world. However, it's not a quick process and a lot of it involves relying on an expected outcome by the judge. So, with this in mind, he will continue your case until he gets it in front of the right judge. With me, this process lasted over a year. During this time, I attended counseling and dealt with the loss of a close family member. Eventually, my case went to trial and I was found guilty. So, in hindsight, Mr. Davenport bought me some time to take care of my personal business and negotiated a guilty plea to the least offensive level; I'm grateful for this. One thing you have to consider: They (the prosecution, the defense, the judge, etc.) all know each other and they're not going to do anything to jeopardize a good working relationship. What does this mean for you? If you're guilty, you're not getting completely out of it.

Mrs. Brianne Van Apeldoorn and Misty Waldroup were my lawyer and paralegal. Right from the initial consultation Mrs. Vans Apledoorn explained exactly how she would recommend going about my case and executed it wonderfully when that time finally came. Misty was very quick with responses and continued to keep me up to date with everything and helped me understand what everything meant if needed.
During pre trial she explained things very well and went over everything to get a feel of how the court proceedings will go. She is very friendly and welcoming.
During trial she objected, questioned, and requested with reasoning things being dismissed before even having the chance to be heard. She was prepared for the long and treacherous day which turned into a shorter than expected day due to her attentiveness and organization. She was able to get our motion granted without needing my witnesses to testify.
It was expensive but for the outcome she delivered it was all worth it. For any family custody matters, I will be returning to her and will absolutely recommend her for any family law issues.

I have not had many encounters with an attorney. That is a good thing. The attorneys I had to call upon were those who helped me with purchase of my home. Pretty simple, every day things. Until two years ago when my son found himself facing very serious legal trouble. It was then that I met John Criscitiello, JC as many of his clients refer to him. My first conversation was with John on the phone while my son sat in his office. John was nothing but professional and helpful. His calming voice and manner were both gifts to me and would continue to be during a very difficult and trying time. My son's case did not turn out to be easy or quick. But from the very beginning John assured us that he would work tirelessly to get the best possible outcome, and he did. Even when things looked darkest John continued to press forward, seeking the evidence he needed to prove my son's case. Never did we feel abandoned, never did the case seem hopeless. The services I received from Mr. Geoffrion were exceptional. I was concerned with my case because I am not a resident of North Carolina, and needed to handle everything remotely. Mr. Geoffrion assurred me of the potential outcomes of my case, and the work I needed to do prior to my anticipated court appearence. Mr. Geoffrion was upfront with the associated fees that I would be responsible for paying as well as presented a timeline of when the payment was expected. Mr. Geoffrion also did not typically practice law in the county I was issued a ticket in, however accomodated my situation and respresented my case anyways. I was in a tight bind and under severe stress under the charges I had been faced with and had lost hope. I was assigned a court appointed lawyer originally, but felt there was no intention of legal representation from that one at the time. I also did not want to pay someone who didn't want to represent me (I would have had to if my defense failed.) I hired Don because of his enthusiasm and his professional manner. Once he became involved the whole tune of my entire case had changed. He was very organized and I truly felt he was ready to fight for my case. It was expensive honestly, but I'm a low budget person so that's irrelevant in my case. The amount of hope and stress relief he provided me, a price tag could not amount to so it was absolutely worth it. My charges were dropped in the end, I didn't have to pay my CAA, and having a clean record again gave me a lot of hope. Any incidents I may or may not face in the future, he will be on my call list. Traffic violations, family cases, criminal defense...Definitely "Better Call Don."

If you are considering seeking legal representation from attorney Mr. Dupree, please be extremely cautious. He has a history of inappropriate physical contact and sending sexually explicit messages to female clients. I personally experienced this behavior on four separate occasions while in his office. During my final visit, I felt compelled to bring my adult son for protection, as Mr. Dupree had previously touched me inappropriately as I was leaving his office.
Mr. Dupree took advantage of my vulnerability and desperate need for legal assistance. He knew I had limited options and used that to his advantage. After the fourth incident, I terminated his services. No amount of compensation could justify the continued abuse I was subjected to. He finally returned my fees after I publicly exposed his behavior on my Facebook page, "End Corruption in Harnett County."
I have sent Mr. Dupree a demand before filing a civil suit. I refuse to allow him to victimize other women. If you have also been a victim of Mr. Dupree's misconduct, please reach out to me. You are not alone, one other has come forward, we must hold him accountable.
The NC Bar has failed to take action, so I am taking matters into my own hands so he will think about his egregious behavior before he decides to inappropriately touch another client for his disturbing pleasure.

It went extremely well. She was VERY responsive as was her paralegal. She told me that she had no control over whether my husband would respond or when he would respond. It was something that was out of her hands. It took a LONG time (almost 11 months) to enter into a document both my ex and I agreed upon but she stuck to it and did not charge me any additional fee for it.

I hired her to draft my separation agreement about 5 months ago. When I hired her, I told her it was very difficult for me to communicate with my husband and that I wanted to finish this in a speedy manner. She assured me she would draft the agreement as soon as she got detailed information from me, so I thought paying $2,500, paid upfront, would be worth it. However, she was never as timely as she promised. First of all, the separation agreement draft she sent me was basically a form agreement with very little modifications; she didn't take time to take my personal situations into account and write them into the draft. Second, she took as long as 3 weeks--and I'm still waiting--to respond to some simple questions I asked. The first time I complained about the delays, more than a month ago, her secretary said she would email me and explain. I never got that explanation nor apologies from her. The second time I complained, I asked for a refund. It took her several days to respond, and when she responded, she stalled by saying she would consider my request and email me back. It's almost a week, and I haven't received any response. When I first hired her, I explained my situation to her and let her understand how timing was important to me. She told he she would try her best. She did not carry out that promise. While I was waiting for her response, she even took a leave of several weeks without first notifying me of any possible delays. I was in quite stressful marital tensions and tried to contact her, but got NO response at all! The way she treated me was as if I'm the least important client.
