I found myself in a situation that carried significant legal implications. Upon speaking with Les and reviewing my case, I felt confident letting go of the stress I was harboring related to the case. He told me some things to really put my mind at ease and outlined the legal process. Being an arena I did not understand, he offered me timely updates and I always felt as though I knew what was going on. I wanted to share my experience with Dixon Law Group in case anyone is looking for legal assistance, specifically with Probate issues. I contacted them in late October 2024 because I needed an attorney to help guide me through probate for my father's small estate after he passed without a will. After talking with the paralegal, I felt relieved that I had found someone knowledgeable and responsive that would help with this confusing legal matter. I agreed to use them for my issue. I should add that I'm not local so having an attorney in the area was a relief. I provided all the information requested and was told that I would have a "package" emailed to me that week. Over the next 2 months, I contacted the paralegal multiple times through email and phone to ask about the progress. I was always told that "I was just about to send you an email". Unfortunately, those emails were never sent or arrived. Their office wasted over 2 months of my time and added to my already high level of stress regarding what to do. I finally called them in early January 2025 to let them know that I would find someone else to help me. Their response was indifferent, which is what I expected, and their unprofessionalism was not addressed. I'm not sure if this is how they treat all their clients, but I was extremely disappointed.

Once divorced, most individuals move on, but I was unfortunate to have an “ex” intent on causing trouble. No matter how stressful and costly, I needed an expert lawyer and legal team to protect my interests. With an “ex” like mine, it was imperative to immediately address his breach of contract and non-compliance with other matters. Once more, I contacted Irons & Irons for their outstanding legal services. Gib Irons recommended a new and exceptional member of their team, Robert Zaslow, an attorney with thirty years of family law experience.
Mr. Zaslow quickly learned about my case and took the first step. He informed my “ex” that he had signed a contract that he was not free to alter. Failure to comply with contractual obligations would lead to litigation. The easiest and least costly option was to comply (in my case, pay alimony on time and in total).
After my “ex” ignored Mr. Zaslow’s correspondence, we had to take the next step. Several Court filings persuaded my “ex” to pay what he owed me, but he refused to cover the legal fees I had incurred. Per our contract, if one party breaches an agreement, the other party can ask for legal fees. Another matter involved a No Contact clause in our Equitable Distribution Agreement, which prohibits my “ex” from contacting me and vice versa, a clause my “ex” had ignored.
We had no choice but to go to Court. When I arrived at the Courthouse, Mr. Zaslow took precautions to protect me. As we entered the courtroom, he informed the bailiff I had an NC No Contact provision and a Protective Order from another state.
While the judge and attorneys present discussed the day’s docket, my “ex” took advantage and approached me. His voice alerted Mr. Zaslow, who spun around and instructed my “ex” to walk away. The bailiff rushed over immediately and ordered my “ex” to step away, an order he had to repeat twice before my “ex” complied.
When the Judge was ready to hear our case, Mr. Zaslow delivered every critical point to recover legal fees and highlight my “ex’s” multiple violations of NC’s No Contact clause. He was masterful in clearly setting up the case and methodically offering evidence to corroborate his points. Mr. Zaslow knows how to deliver a compelling narrative that captures a judge’s attention and brilliantly grounds the argument presented in the law. The judge ruled in our favor.
Additionally, since I face continuing litigation in another state, Mr. Zaslow went the extra mile to secure copies of the hearing’s recording. He shared this valuable material with me, my lawyer in the state where I reside, and the State Attorney’s prosecutor handling a separate criminal complaint.
During these many hearings, I’ve relied on my lawyers, a highly skillful mediator, fair judges, court personnel, and police officers. Certainly, Irons & Irons is at the top of my list of invaluable professionals. Thank you, Gib Irons, Robert Zaslow, and the best paralegal in the world, Kaitlyn Gonzalez. Your superb support since early December 2021 (when I first called) has contributed to my new life, a happy one if it weren’t for my “ex’s” behavior. When your fiancé is behind the wall facing 20 years or more and you're left wondering if your love one will see there daughter 2nd birthday or possibly see her graduate is pretty stressful. I have not had many encounters with an attorney. That is a good thing. The attorneys I had to call upon were those who helped me with purchase of my home. Pretty simple, every day things. Until two years ago when my son found himself facing very serious legal trouble. It was then that I met John Criscitiello, JC as many of his clients refer to him. My first conversation was with John on the phone while my son sat in his office. John was nothing but professional and helpful. His calming voice and manner were both gifts to me and would continue to be during a very difficult and trying time. My son's case did not turn out to be easy or quick. The services I received from Mr. Geoffrion were exceptional. I was concerned with my case because I am not a resident of North Carolina, and needed to handle everything remotely. Mr. Geoffrion assurred me of the potential outcomes of my case, and the work I needed to do prior to my anticipated court appearence. Mr. Geoffrion was upfront with the associated fees that I would be responsible for paying as well as presented a timeline of when the payment was expected. I was in a tight bind and under severe stress under the charges I had been faced with and had lost hope. I was assigned a court appointed lawyer originally, but felt there was no intention of legal representation from that one at the time. I also did not want to pay someone who didn't want to represent me (I would have had to if my defense failed.) I hired Don because of his enthusiasm and his professional manner. Once he became involved the whole tune of my entire case had changed. He was very organized and I truly felt he was ready to fight for my case. It was expensive honestly, but I'm a low budget person so that's irrelevant in my case. The amount of hope and stress relief he provided me, a price tag could not amount to so it was absolutely worth it. My charges were dropped in the end, I didn't have to pay my CAA, and having a clean record again gave me a lot of hope. Any incidents I may or may not face in the future, he will be on my call list. Traffic violations, family cases, criminal defense...Definitely "Better Call Don."

If you are considering seeking legal representation from attorney Mr. Dupree, please be extremely cautious. He has a history of inappropriate physical contact and sending sexually explicit messages to female clients. I personally experienced this behavior on four separate occasions while in his office. During my final visit, I felt compelled to bring my adult son for protection, as Mr. Dupree had previously touched me inappropriately as I was leaving his office.
Mr. Dupree took advantage of my vulnerability and desperate need for legal assistance. He knew I had limited options and used that to his advantage. After the fourth incident, I terminated his services. No amount of compensation could justify the continued abuse I was subjected to. He finally returned my fees after I publicly exposed his behavior on my Facebook page, "End Corruption in Harnett County."
I have sent Mr. Dupree a demand before filing a civil suit. I refuse to allow him to victimize other women. If you have also been a victim of Mr. Dupree's misconduct, please reach out to me. You are not alone, one other has come forward, we must hold him accountable.
The NC Bar has failed to take action, so I am taking matters into my own hands so he will think about his egregious behavior before he decides to inappropriately touch another client for his disturbing pleasure.

DO NOT HIRE JAY AUDINO AS YOUR ATTORNEY. He dropped the ball on one of my friend’s custody cases. He took $23K of her money, showed little-to-no representation for her during her divorce settlement, and THEN got caught having an affair on his wife with the young girl who interned for their firm. It went extremely well. She was VERY responsive as was her paralegal. She told me that she had no control over whether my husband would respond or when he would respond. It was something that was out of her hands. It took a LONG time (almost 11 months) to enter into a document both my ex and I agreed upon but she stuck to it and did not charge me any additional fee for it.

When I hired her, I told her it was very difficult for me to communicate with my husband and that I wanted to finish this in a speedy manner. She assured me she would draft the agreement as soon as she got detailed information from me, so I thought paying $2,500, paid upfront, would be worth it. However, she was never as timely as she promised. First of all, the separation agreement draft she sent me was basically a form agreement with very little modifications; she didn't take time to take my personal situations into account and write them into the draft. Second, she took as long as 3 weeks--and I'm still waiting--to respond to some simple questions I asked. The first time I complained about the delays, more than a month ago, her secretary said she would email me and explain. I never got that explanation nor apologies from her. The second time I complained, I asked for a refund. It took her several days to respond, and when she responded, she stalled by saying she would consider my request and email me back. It's almost a week, and I haven't received any response. When I first hired her, I explained my situation to her and let her understand how timing was important to me. She told he she would try her best. She did not carry out that promise. While I was waiting for her response, she even took a leave of several weeks without first notifying me of any possible delays. I was in quite stressful marital tensions and tried to contact her, but got NO response at all! The way she treated me was as if I'm the least important client. Once I paid the 2,500, it was as if I was moved to the bottom of her list. If she can't handle my case in a timely manner, she shouldn't have taken my case. After I asked for a refund, and when she herself knew she didn't have time to work on my case, she should've issue a refund immediately rather than making me wait. If you want a lawyer that listens well and tends to your personal needs, and communicate well and timely, she is NOT one.
