Amazing experience with staff, very up front from the beginning. I had multiple situations and they were all able to be addressed at once benefiting for sure. Amidst juggling academic commitments and personal responsibilities, the injuries sustained required extensive follow-up, further complicating an already challenging situation. Attorney Fawn Kehler won a five-year-long custody battle after joining the case and representing me for only a mere five months! She was successful in winning primary custody for me, a father living in PA! Any father residing in PA, that has been through Family Court, knows how the scales are typically tilted in the mother's favor. Attorney Kehler to came into a complex custody case, after three previous attorneys were unsuccessful in obtaining primary custody, and she was able to overwhelmingly win and establish a harmful course of conduct for the other side that will have ramifications for years to come. Throughout the entire process, Attorney Kehler was quick to respond to my emails and texts and even vigorously worked on my case on her days off when we had court coming up a few days later. We hired Fawn after a mutual friend recommended her last year, when we found ourselves in a custody situation against my grandsons father. We have had primary custody of our grandson since he was 4 years old, with little to almost no involvement from his father. He basically started our custody battle over us filing for some monetary support after 12 years. Fawn did not flinch in taking our case and I can't thank her enough for doing so even when she was already very busy!! She has been very helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and caring in our fight. She has definitely become what I consider a friend to me and our family. It has been a long process and a lot of back and forth issues, but she has stood by us every step of the way! Even with all of my bombarding emails and messages, she has continued to listen to my/our concerns. We are finally starting to see light at the end of the tunnel, with pending paperwork submitted for parental rights to be signed off by father. I was facing a DUI w/crash in Dauphin County. Mr. Lysaght explained what I should do proactively to minimize any penalties. I refused the breath test and is not my first one. I highly recommend Joseph Sembrot if your seeking skilled legal defense. I was a client for a little over a year. He did some great work for me. Mr. Sembrot managed to suppress some charges while lowering others and secured me a very sweet deal with the DA. Frank was wreck amended by a friend (in the firm) and the interview was set up by him. So we thought what do we have to loose we went to the office and had a conference with Frank. We explained what happened and gave Frank all the information and he said he thought he could something. So we left it in Frank's hands not knowing what the out come would be if anything. I cannot say enough about Shaffer and Engle law practices. At the time I was being accused of something I did not even do by Pa state children and youth services. The case was given to the Pa state police who conducted an investigation into the allegations and closed the case without any charges being filed.
Although I was never arrested or charged of any crime in this case that did not stop Pa state children and youth services from placing me on a state sexual offender list.
When I first met Alyssa Knisely and Jeff Engle they were both very professional and easy to talk with. After reviewing my case they were able to sit down with me and go over all my options. While doing this they were explaining everything in a way that made it easy for me to follow without being caught up in all the legal talk.
Jeff and Alyssa worked as a great team. As Jeff took the lead during the court hearing being able to bring so much into the open about this case. The first time I spoke with Tilman Larson I knew I had found my attorney. Now that the dust has settled, my only regret is not hiring him sooner. After 15 years of marriage and a year of separation I was tired and sad and strapped. Mr. Lawson worked out a payment plan that worked with my small budget but he treated me like a client for whom money was no object.
