Chris is a fantastic attorney. Granted, he didn't come cheap; however, you get what you pay for. I had been charged with a DUI after refusing to do a field sobriety test and they took my driver's license with resulted in two cases: civil, to NOT have my license suspended, and criminal for DUI. I found Mr. Angles after being referred to him by another attorney I reached out to. I read his reviews and decided to meet with him. He was professional, calm, honest, and reassuring. He told me my case was "interesting" and decided to take me on as a client. More than a year after the incident, he called me with the news that the prosecution was dismissing the case. Similarly, he fought for me to not have my license taken away, which also was dismissed. This guy was a godsend. Thank you so much Chris, for all your hard work. If you need a great, hardworking, respectful attorney that looks at every detail of the case, Chris Angles is your man!

Recently I had the opportunity to access Solomon and Peter LLP for a traffic violation. Josh Peter was attentive to the matter and acted with professionalism and efficiency. The entire process took 18 days (from issuance of ticket to receipt of case disposition).

I sought David's counsel after I was charged with a serious crime in 2021. I had never used any type of legal counsel up until that point so while I can't give a baseline of how the process typically works I can confidently say that David was responsive, diligent, and engaged from our first conversation. I had a bad situation last December of 2023, that required me to be physically aggressive. My sister and I were both sexually harassed and physically attacked by a complete stranger, after I got off from work downtown. We were both physically hurt and still had to explain our cases to a judge at Municipal Court. David Bell was recommended to me by a court advocate representing me with NewHouse Domestic Violence Shelter. His sense of humor is quite eclectic and he's very passionate about helping his clients. He's very intelligent, too! David knows the law! David was patient and sympathetic about my situation from the beginning. I had such an incredible experience. We had 2 to 3 conversations on the phone about my predicament. He helped coach me out of my twisted mindset that the stalkerwas my fault. He gave me honest and objective advice about a restraining order. During our initial conversation, he said "First of all, you need to think about getting a therapist. An experience like this is profoundly stressful." It was a healing and vindicating comment, as I was having a really hard time emotionally with the situation.

I was looking at a DUI and probably jail time after an incident in 2023. After two previous Convictions, one 30 years ago and another 25 years ago. I was arrested for DUI, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer., all of which were not based on facts.. Denise Kirby, won my revocation hearing so I didn’t lose my license, and both the resisting arrest and assaulting an officer were both dismissed The DUI was amended to a 2 point C&I charge.. I paid a $225 fine with NO probation.. I can NOT have gone through what I did if it weren’t for Denise!! She IS the Best !! She was trustworthy, and determined.. and I pray I will never have to be her client again, but if anyone is reading this and is in a similar situation, please contact her.. I am so blessed and so thankful for having attorney Denise Kirby in my corner!!!!

On St Patrick's Day, I got into a car accident with no injuries. The officer who arrived on the scene said I had the smell of alcohol on my breath and had me do a field sobriety test. I failed the Field Sobriety Test, and I refused to blow. I was arrested and booked for DWI + Reckless Driving, causing an accident, and I had 2 weeks to appeal my license revocation. I was in shambles and anxious about my future as a healthcare professional.
I called different lawyers. Some were cheap, but they just wanted me to take a plea deal. Some big firms were willing to fight the case, but they were super expensive, and I didn't want to go broke over this incident.
Enter Denise Kirby. When we discussed my case, she made no guarantees, but by the end of the conversation, I was convinced that she'd be the one to represent me. She impressed me with her resume; she is well-known in KC for her expertise in DWI defense. Her price is a flat fee and is more than fair for her expertise and qualifications. Her payment system is easygoing. I made an upfront deposit and finished making payments after six months with no interest.
You'd think the case would be settled by the end of the six-month payments, but it wasn't. Denise warned me that the court systems in KC, Missouri, are slow, and they sure were.
A full year later, when the case came closer to a hearing, Denise called me to review all the evidence and asked me what I wanted to do. My biggest thing was getting the DUI off my record without going to trial. She spoke to the prosecutor and called me about a few weeks later. She was able to get a plea deal to amend my DUI and Reckless driving to a C&I driving violation, which is essentially a $500 fine and not a criminal offense ( not a misdemeanor or felony). I only had to go to court in front of the judge to agree to accept guilt for the traffic violation and then pay the fine at the court. She also won my license revocation, I just had to do SATOP classes, and my driver's license was not suspended.
Do yourself a favor if you live in the KC area and face DUI/DWI charges Denise Kirby is the way to go.

I feel as though I was wrongfully arrested for a DUI. I am a pretty boring mom who never goes out and had not had a drink in years. A friend came from out of town and for the first night in years I took her out in KC, had 1 drink, than drank water for about 2 hours, grabbed a bite to eat, and about 3 or 4 hours after my one drink got in the car and forgot to turn on my headlights and got pulled over by a thirty to arrest DUI officer. He did three field sobriety test and I lost my balance on the walk, the last test, due to nerves/anxiety (was shaking), it was on an elevated surfaces and a uneven cracked sidewalk. He arrested me and gave me a PBT which I easily passed but still insisted I was under the influence. I called many lawyers and many stated that many prosecutors are hard on DUI’s due to MAD and even though it seemed straightforward we likely would have to go to trial. I looked up Denise and was impressed by her credentials but once I talked to her I knew she was hands down the one I wanted to hire. She was confident in her abilities and what she would be able to do for me. I could have gotten a cheaper lawyer but I she was well worth the extra I had to spend to get representation that would fight for me. Denise was able to get charge completely dismissed. It is disappointing that you can do everything right and still get wrongfully arrested by someone stacking up cases but thankful for people like Denise who are able to represent people when they feel like the odds are stacked against them.
Denise, thanks for everything you did to represent me and get my case dismissed. I shouldn’t never need another DUI lawyer but would/will recommend you, hands down!

He did not give me a monthly statement or any kind of tally of my money that he was supposedly doing anykind of work for me that would justify it. I would not recommend this so called attorney to anyone. This man can't not get past his arrogant and self-seated personality. At the end when he asked me for more money out of nowhere n I stated that before I just handed him more money that I needed a game plan n he refused n when I demanded one he just wouldn't give me one he just wanted my money for doing absolutely nothing... He is the worst attorney that I ever hired for anything......

I want to thank Attorney Tim Riemann for his professionalism and negotiation skills in working on my case. After being in a car accident and finding out the young man had no insurance, I knew it would be a challenge to re-coup any losses. Let me sum it up! ATTORNEY SHEENA FOYE IS A GOD SEND! I lived a true nightmare for a year and a half before Sheena was recommended to me!!! I talked to attorney after attorney, hiring one before Sheena and truly had given up any hope that my case could be beat, only maybe if we took it to a juror trial and then one can only hope! I knew my son was facing a very serious charge, I paid 20,000 for representation that I feel a public defender could have done. I felt like he absolutely did not fight for my son at all, whatever the prosecutor said , is what it was. My son has never been in any type of trouble, and any time I would mention anything with his case that I looked up on my own he would say oh that doesn’t apply to his case. My son was never showed any evidence that they supposedly had against him. Communication with the attorney was not the best, he would respond when it was convenient. I was told after the case was over, if you ever have any questions feel free to reach out, I did and never heard back from him. I guess after getting his money, his job was done…. Don’t say reach out with questions if you know you’re not going to keep your word. He had me believing the whole time he would do all he could to help my son, he still got screwed in the end.

Rebecca is a great communicator, explained things well as we went along. Unfortunately, through no fault of hers, the case was continued multiple times. I paid only one up front retainer. When my son was going to step in to my place for me, he paid a small retainer up front. Ultimately, the case was withdrawn and Rebecca refunded his retainer. It is a shame it has taken me more than a decade to find a law firm that knows the law, operates in a top-caliber manner, and treats the client like a human. I have had a couple of attorneys at Hale, but the one who helped us the most was Suzanne. Not only is she a bomb a** attorney, but she also knows how to handle and run a business, be classy, and professional, and have customer service. I appreciate her no-frills approach to handling cases and client situations.
She keeps a client-centered approach and looks out for everyone's best interest. Attorneys are indeed expensive but Suzanne makes sure the money spent on your case is allocated in a manner that does not leave your account on zero or paying unnecessary fees. She believes in transparency, honesty, and integrity; which is rare when an attorney is involved in difficult cases. I hired Greg after consulting with a couple of well known firms around KC. He was by far the friendliest. He was easy to talk to and not all pompous like the other two attorneys I met with. I was charged with 2 felonies and one misdemeanor and facing over 10 years time. Greg got the two felony counts dismissed in return for me pleading to the misdemeanor. The prosecutor wanted time for the misdemeanor, but I got probation. Greg argued and really fought for me. Without him I would probably be a felon serving time. Instead I am soon gonna be putting a Christmas tree up with my kids.

I was pulled over in KCMO for 11mph over the speed limit I called a couple of attorneys and Larry, Larry was very outgoing and professional he explained to me the process of getting it reduced to a non moving violation told me his rate which was very affordable and contacted me later advising me it was done and what steps were required on my end. During this procedure I had gotten a promotion and had Larry and his office not called me I would have forgotten about the ticket fine. I knew my son was facing a very serious charge, I paid 20,000 for representation that I feel a public defender could have done. I felt like he absolutely did not fight for my son at all, whatever the prosecutor said , is what it was. My son has never been in any type of trouble, and any time I would mention anything with his case that I looked up on my own he would say oh that doesn’t apply to his case. My son was never showed any evidence that they supposedly had against him. Communication with the attorney was not the best, he would respond when it was convenient. I was told after the case was over, if you ever have any questions feel free to reach out, I did and never heard back from him. I guess after getting his money, his job was done…. Don’t say reach out with questions if you know you’re not going to keep your word. He had me believing the whole time he would do all he could to help my son, he still got screwed in the end.
