I hired Charlie for an OVI case, and from the outset it was clear that he is head and shoulders above any other lawyers I have dealt with. I contacted him (and hired him) a day before the initial hearing, and while he personally was not available that day due to pre-existing commitments, he sent another lawyer from his firm to cover.
From then forward he was personally available to me whenever I needed, and took the time to get me up to speed on what I could expect, he gathered information from me to get a clear understanding of the case, and kept me notified regularly as things progressed or as his office received additional information.
At my first hearing with Charlie, it was clear that he was well regarded by both the Judge and the district attorneys office... which made things go very smoothly. He was well versed in the law with regards to handling OVI cases, which gave me a level of confidence and comfort despite how stressful the situation was.

I have had Marty defend me twice now. I feel very confident in his skills as an attorney, and how he is very knowledgeable about the law. He knows when he can win it for you or not and is very honest with you. He got my OVI, which should have been an UOVI, but can't do much about it now and he got it reduced to something that can't be seen as an OVI offense. I was unjustly accused of a crime, and retained Mr. Rittgers as my defense attorney. I had never been in trouble in my life and was quite upset and nervous. Charlie walked me through the process and assured me that I would come out fine. He kept me informed during the entire process and we won the case. I felt like he really was emotionally involved in my case, and that he was completely confident in our defense, which in turn, made me confident that the outcome would be favorable. We hired Charlie to represent our juvenile child who made a very poor decision that could have had a major negative impact on our child's life. Charlie was honest and straight forward with us and shared with our child how lives can be ruined by the wrong choices. I have been involved in a custody battle for around 5 years. To make a very long story short, I could not have done it without Mr. Aldridge and Mr. Kaspar either. Mr. Aldridge was very dedicated and knowledgeable through the whole case. I could have never asked for a better person to get me to this point of having custody. If you are in a position to try and get visitation with your child or any child, shared parenting or any kind of rights for your child or someone else's child. Then don't go searching for any other lawyers. Go and talk to Mr. Aldridge and get started. It may be a long process but with him at least you know you have a chance. Also, do not think that you can just go ask a lawyer for something and you will get it, there is a lot of work and dedication on your part too. I worked very hard and stayed dedicated to my case because I believed in it. Your lawyer can only go so far, the other part is up to you personally. But, if you work as hard as Mr. Aldridge and are as dedicated to your case as he will be when you hire him, then only the best outcome will come in the end. I am not getting paid to write any of this or was even asked to. I just strongly believe in his work because I have worked with him for 5 years now, so my experience has proven a lot.

I had doubts about this lawyer who was appointed to my contempt case due to his younger appearance, and his methods of keeping in contact being somewhat lacking; but when we were in the court room, he was very on key, and perceptive to cues from myself, and the opposing party. I finally got in touch with Roger. He did not offer an explanation as to why he never returned my calls or informed me that i lost the appeal. He did however offer to help me get the original transcripts of the proceedings so that i can take this case to the supreme court, pro se. He also returned my phone call again the next day, when i informed him that the courts were unwilling to provide me with copies of the transcripts.
He seemed like a nice man, but it bugs the crap out of me that he had never returned the calls when they were critical, and that he never informed me that i lost my appeal, which was critical.
I had already filed a formal complain against him before i finally got in touch with him, and i'm debating on retracting it, as he is now being assistive; but then again, i may not, as the time when the assistance was critically necessary is far past...
I am forced to submit an "Overall Rating of this Lawyer", but i would like to skip that part. I will use all 3's, which is indicative of "indifferent".

Mr. Staton provided excellent representation a few years ago when I was charged with a serious moving violation. The charges were dismissed on lack of evidence due in no small part to Mr. Staton's courtroom demeanor and cross examination of the officer who issued the ticket (who incidentally was not witness to said violation). Not only were the charges dropped but as we left the courtroom a bystander requested his business card; apparently impressed by Mr. Staton's presentation.
I have since employed Mr. Staton on a number of smaller issues from contract negotiation to legal advice and counseling.

Mr. Ernst and his staff are welcoming, God fearing people. A peace exudes over one as they step off of the elevator. This "Peace" I felt led me to an amazing outfit. Since hiring Dave, he has been very FOCUSED on the results of my matters. I have no qualms or complaints. He doesn't belittle you, he empowers you. Just the other day, I witnessed his paralegal share love in the form of a hug for a client they had helped successfully and it touched my heart. Again, I dont know who the lady was, but the love and caring shared by the members in this office is what I believe helps Dave to focus on the pertinent and important issues. Hired him to represent me in a frivolous business lawsuit case. He demonstrated poor communication (approx. 30 non-responses for follow up). He also did not demonstrate any urgency with the court regarding my case. Filed a motion without my knowledge. I also had to look up status updates online to see where the case was in the legal system since he was unresponsive. He was very responsive after I replaced him with another lawyer. He also provided poor legal advice early in my case according to new legal representation. It appears he simply did not want to go to court based on the e-mails. My new lawyer is working to redo motions he has filed since they are incomplete (did not site any case law for our legal position). There was also no bond set in the event the plaintiff was incorrect in this matter. I highly recommend not using this lawyer for any business litigation. The cost to my business has been high.

Completely unhappy with his services. He is unresponsive and does not participate in client preparation whatsoever. I had to request multiple times to meet with him to discuss my case before our court dates. He did not file the proper paperwork before one of my hearings and told me it was my fault that he didn't because I didn't tell him to. Well, had I known that needed to happen and I needed to tell him, I would have. He was unprepared on my court date an had no credible knowledge towards the case he represented me in as the plaintiff. I actually ended up losing more than what I had to start with after my hearing. At the end of my dealings with him I was left with less than what I started with in addition to a +$5,500.00 bill. I strongly advise to steer clear of his services

I have worked with Mark Bogen in the context of a Defendant in his court (he is also a judge). Despite the fact that i was a defendant, and he was the judge who sometimes rendered a finding that was not in my favor (sent me to jail a couple of times), i must say that i this man is one of the most unbiased, unprejudiced, fair, and reasonable men that i have ever met.
I have also seen this man in action as a lawyer, and he is good. I would definitely recommend this man as a lawyer.

This man hid evidence from me, refused to allow me to use certain witnesses that were key to my defence, obfuscated the facts both to me, and to the jury, and had no interest in justice what so ever. I have a strong feeling that he purposely acted in such a way so as to cause me to loose (for reasons that i will not get into...).
