When I was in an accident in May of 22, I saw right away that the insurance company of the at fault member was not going to be easy to work with. I had never hired a lawyer before and had no idea where to start. Horn law had great reviews on here, which led me to their office. They took great care of me throughout my recovery process and kept on top of everything until my settlement was complete 9 months later. Nina is who I dealt with the most, she was great at walking me through every step of the process. Highly recommend!

I had several tickets piled on me by the KCMO cops that stopped me for looking like I was in the wrong place. Clint took them to court and got the tickets tossed out cause the cops did not have a good reason to stop me. Regular guy easy to talk and be honest with.

After a failed first attempt with another attorney, I was referred to Mr Cushing who knew the ropes on exactly how to process all the right paperwork -- the first time -- for the suit to prove causation and he already had professional relationships with expert contacts and lined them up quickly to minimize the wait time. He level set expectations with me about how long the process would take and turns out he was accurate within a few weeks. He was compassionate and gave me and my family peace of mind as he listened and talked with us about coping. If I ever need help again, I would definitely go back to him and I have recommended him to others.

Chase traveled nearly 200 miles round trip to be co-counsel to the attorney that I hired at no additional charge. He was brilliant in using collateral estoppel in my family law case when my son's abusive father tried to use the court to gain access to private medical information that had previously been litigated. Needless to say, the opposing party eventually dropped their motion to modify when they realized they couldn't win. In all, I am grateful to Chase and Michelle Higinbotham for their kindness, generosity, and fierce advocacy in protecting my son.

I was a trustee who was settling a living trust written by Ms Dent-Bennett. First, the trust was well written and comprehensive which allowed the funds to be distributed as outlined in the trust. Second, she provided excellent guidance to me, as trustee, which made my job a lot easier. Third, her rates were reasonable. And finally, she was very responsive. I'm strongly considering moving my business to her if I need to make changes to my estate.

I would recommend her if you have the funds to pay her exhorbitant fees. She charges more than any other lawyer I have worked with and her bill is her priority. I can't imagine her doing any pro bono work! She did a wonderful job of getting my custody restored, but I think I could have found a lawyer who wouldn't overcharge me soon after she found out I had funds coming to me. She is lacking in human compassion. I am disabled. She should have informed me that the bill would be so high and let me make my own determinations from there. If I had to do it all over again, she was a hell of a lawyer...but I can't afford her.

I hired David Breon to help me with a child support modification. He repeatedly would not do what asked without explanation. He would go missing for weeks and not communicate at all. I told him repeatedly I wanted to get it completed, but he kept dragging his, made lots of excuses. He did nothing but waste my time and money and now I have to start over with a new lawyer

I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am with this attorney. From the very beginning, it was clear that they had little to no interest in my case. Communication was almost nonexistent, and I had to repeatedly chase them for updates, only to get vague responses or no response at all. At one point, I had to explain the details of my case over and over because they seemed to forget key facts every time we spoke. Not only was there a complete lack of professionalism, but the attorney also seemed unprepared in court and failed to present a coherent argument. I paid a significant amount of money for services that were ultimately useless. To top it off, they were extremely condescending and dismissive whenever I expressed concerns. It felt like I was just another number to them. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you want someone who genuinely cares about your case. This attorney is completely incompetent and untrustworthy!

Paid a premium for very poor performance on their behalf. Couldn’t reach anyone numerous times in the course of their “representation”. They sent an alternate lawyer to a court appearance with no notice to me. When the final court date came, I was left in the courtroom by myself with no representation until I called the office and got the run around for 3 hours until an attorney showed up. Wouldn’t wish their incompetence on my worst enemies.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Several years ago f
ormer Judge Grates forced me to retain an attorney in my divorce with less than a weeks notice (absolutely despicable). Unfortunately, I retained Mr. Lunceford who not only did NOTHING for me, but he made sure he and his, equally rotten, paralegal took advantage of billing me as much as they could for work I already did! THEN threatened to SUE me when I asked for the bill I was NEVER given or explained before the day I requested to look at it. For reference, I am a former legal assistant. This firm should be shut down and he should be suspended or should face disbarment. The ONLY reason I didn’t file a complaint was because my divorce was finalized around Christmas, I had two young children, and after I wrote him a warning letter that I would file a complaint with the Disciplinary Administration he and his office backed off.

I hired him and so did my cousin for the same type of case. Parental Alienation- Custody problems. The same result in both cases. Dennis didnt know what he was doing. Didnt prepare for anything. Couldnt speak in court as a knowledgeable attorney. He left me to represent myself so that he could go defend a Jeffco judge in a divorce case. I fired him and hired an amazing attorney who wrapped up everything in my case beautifully. Then Dennis sued me for 12k when he clearly didnt do the work. When i fired him i owed him 2 maybe 3 grand. Not 12. Well, Dennis just seized and garnished my bank account for 12k, didnt notify me of any hearings. He is COMPLETLY underhanded and should not be practicing law. PERIOD.

hired Dennis Bonner' law firm in June 2012 to represent me in a simple child support/visitation case. I deployed to Afghanistan in January 2013 and in March 2013, Dennis Bonner informed me of his motion to withdraw from the case. The motion to withdraw took me by total surprise especially since I had provided Mr. Bonner with all items and documents that he had requested before I deployed. After talking with Dennis Bonner, he decided to continue to represent me in my case while I was deployed to Afghanistan. I put my full trust in Mr. Dennis Bonner; however, in my absence, I found out that Mr. Bonner had missed court appearances. In addition, Mr. Bonner rarely emailed or called me and totally failed to inform me of the status of my case. I was not made aware of any case hearings and I found out about case ruling month's after they had been ruled on and to add insult to injury, I found out case rulings thru the opposing party. Again, I was informed by the opposing party -month's later -of the outcome of my case, not by my hired attorney
Mr. Bonner's inadvertence and excusable neglect were clearly recognizable and on display in my case. I put my full and complete trust in Mr. Dennis Bonner and he misrepresented and essentially neglected my case. I would not recommend Mr. Bonner as an attorney to any client.
