I cannot recommend Andres Ortiz enough! He was able to keep my Father from getting deported despite an extensive and complicated criminal history. A case highly challenging that no other immigration attorney dared to undertake. I consulted and hired the wrong immigration attorneys until my colleague and good friend (also an immigration attorney and previously a USCIS employee) suggested Andres Ortiz. She told me that “If Andres can’t help you, then nobody can”. Andres quickly rose and surpassed all expectations. The case lasted approximately four (4) years and although Andres moved law firms to ultimately opening his own practice, he always maintained us informed and up to date on my Father’s case. We never once felt that Andres was unresponsive or unsure on the progression of the case. Andres ensured we were kept up to date on new applicable case law that could assist our case and ensured we were thoroughly prepared for all court hearings, especially when rendering testimony. Furthermore, Andres was exceptionally prepared at all court hearings, a quality I have personally witnessed often lacking in other Immigration attorneys. Andres was so meticulously prepared at all court hearings to the extent the Immigration Judges would thank him for his exceptional work. Our entire family if forever grateful to Andres for helping us keep our Father with his family. I highly recommend Andres to all family, friends and general public. Bottom line, if Andres cannot help you with your case, then no one can.

Definitely a learning experience. I will be shopping around next time and making sure that I use my own health insurance so that I actually get all/most of my settlement and not 20% of it over a year later after calling periodically to remind them that I'm a client.😒 Their motto should be "Something's better than nothing".
Update in response to comment:
You are absolutely correct that sometimes there are unrealistic expectations, especially considering the fact that this was the first time I had gone through an accident. However, that does not excuse the lack of communication and the fact that had I not called periodically over the year there would not have been any movement on my case. Not to mention the fact that had I not called to follow up, I would not have received my check because according to your agent, one of your staff dropped my check underneath their seat and wasn't aware of it. So it never got mailed until I called and inquired where my money was. Like I said, it was a learning experience and hopefully you take into account what I've said when dealing with future clients.

Hiring George is hands down one of the best decisions I've ever made in my entire life.
A tragic death in the family left me managing an estate with a complex and volatile tenant situation. I was totally out of my depth, hired George, and he handled the entire situation start to finish with grace, diligence, kindness, and skill.
I had never hired an attorney before, and understand now why hiring a really, really good one is so important. Before George, I felt really frightened and overwhelmed - once he took my case, I felt supported and safe.

I highly recommend this lawyer to all my family and close friends. I had to higher Richard another lawyer because my previous one completely miss informed me on my case which made everything worse even leading up to me having a warrant! I needed someone ASAP!! Luckily I found Richard Wynn through a recommendation from another friend. He set everything right and even got rid of my warrant. He also fixed all these issues on Christmas Eve and put my case first before a family holiday. Richard Wynn was so helpful and knowledgable with any questions I had!

My name is Omar ,
On October, 2016 I got a DUI , I was very worried and scared because I’ve never had any prior history on my record. I had no idea where to start. The day after I got my DUI I called so many attorneys and Among them, Natalia Matusik was the only person I truly felt very comfortable with to handle my case.
A few days later she took my case and I Can’t be more happy and thankful of the outcome and all her valuable help. She represented me in a courteous and professional way.
She was very informative,cooperative and reachable via phone, text, e-mail and even person to person at all time. She met with me to study my case and to inform me of all my rights and responsibilities. Then she examined all possible outcomes and informed me of ways to fight my case in court.
A few months later she managed to reached an agreement with the District attorney and the judge to downgrade my criminal charges to what might have been a DUI into a Dry Reckless charge.
I would definitely recommend her to anyone dealing with this or any case, she took the stress out of dealing with this unfortunate event in my life and I look forward to getting her help once again in order to finish my probation early.

Retaining Ms. Natalia Matusik Law is the best choice I ever made. A rarity in a city filled with super attorney's who bill for filing paper from one side of their desk to the other.
I'm the single mom of a 9 year old daughter. My two previous “super attorney's” dragged me and my daughter through a 2.5-year divorce process, leading to another 2 year civil matter involving both my former husband and his affair partner, now his third wife.
I hired Ms. Matusik in a family related restraining order case, which proceeded to trial. Our non-profit was in tax trouble and suspended by the Secretary of State. We also had a patron that wanted their donation back. This attorney resolved all of it and returned the balance of our initial retainer. She resolved the issue with the patron over dinner and got us a compromise offer for our tax troubles. She was tough and gave us great advice about letting go of our Executive Director which was better for us in the long run. We are healthier today as an organization and even though she will not join our Board of Directors, we admire her and would recommend her if your having compliance issues.

I had an ex-girlfriend who was stalking me and making my life miserable. One day, she was banging on my door for hours. When I tried to leave, she chased me in her car and ended up rear ending me. I got out of my car and was trying to pull her keys out of her ignition and some witnesses saw that and called the police. They arrested me for felony domestic violence. I hired attorney Joel Hoffman and he immediately called the court and had it reduced to a misdemeanor. At the hearing, he was able to have the charges further reduced to misdemeanor trespass with minimal fines and no jail time which I was very happy to accept, considering what it could have been. This was a very stressful time for me since I had never been arrested before in my life but Mr. Hoffman really helped me through the whole nerve racking process. His fees were very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Attorney Joel Hoffman.
