Karl was fantastic,
I got into some trouble at the border traveling into the states. My visa was at risk. I was being charged with two felonies. I can't thank Karl and his team enough for taking my case, treating it seriously and winning it in court.
I was involved in a vehicle accident where, tragically, a person died and I was charged with his death.

I was a hibitual DUI offender, and hired Mr. Hyde after my third offense. He was able to get me the absolute minimum jail time, and worked it out where I only sat weekends due to my current life situation. He was thorough in trying to find the best possible defense for me, and was able to sway the court in my favor rather than doing a long stint in jail. Derek is just like anyone else but got a special talent. He is AMAZING with his work. Never been in trouble before let alone being charged with 4 felony counts for things I didn’t do. I finally get sentenced soon and he helped me get a plea deal with No jail and just one 5 year felony instead of having 3 more which were 20 year ones. I’m curious how sentencing will go on zoom and what he has to say. Another great thing is after 5 years and I stay out of trouble I can luckily get the felony expunged. Actions – or lack thereof – speak louder than words.
A two-month window of opportunity – of which the attorney was well aware – for decisive action and potential resolution of a longstanding issue was missed because for weeks at a time nothing happened unless I first checked in with his office (including a two-week lapse in forwarding communication from the opposing party)... Others at the firm were copied on my email queries so it’s no secret that he eventually stopped responding altogether after I’d provided feedback to a document along with the request that he ask one of his colleagues to provide additional review.
Finally, I terminated the agreement. If the lawyer wasn’t up for the task he should have stopped billing and referred me elsewhere, and/or if there were mitigating circumstances for the ongoing lack of communication someone at the office should have let me know.
In sum, no advantage for me in hiring this attorney. I’m out $1k, forced to regroup with a new attorney from downstate, and this longstanding issue will now remain unresolved for yet another year.

We were referred to Phil through a personal friend. We were reluctant to hire a lawyer, but were really glad we did. My mother got injured in an automobile accident. From the time of the initial consultation, until our final court date, Phil was there explaining the process and guiding us to make good decisions. I had Brian as an attorney and in the beginning he was awesome he tried hard to win the case. But after the first two court dates it went down hill. He had me please to something that was ridiculous seamed to lose intest.. He was VERY hard to get a hold of and and in the end he stopped returning phone calls and when I final!y get a hold of him he had reude remarks and seem angry I even cslled. So in MY opinion mi would not recommend him EVERYTHING he and he was horrible! He stopped returning me phone calls.
