I came to US in January 2014 to marry my ex-husband, we got married in April 2014, lived less than a year and broke up in March 2015. Our marriage wasn’t good but when my ex-husband left me it was a surprise. While I was at work he took all the expensive stuff out of our condo, transferred all the money from our joint account to his personal account (at that moment I didn’t have my own account, only joint), also when we were buying our property, he and his agent asked me to sign some paper, I did it but actually it was Quitclaim Deed, I found out it only when we were divorcing. I had been in America only for one year and fully trusted my ex-husband but he did everything to leave me with nothing and throw me out on a street like a toy. On the same day when he left I received a letter from his attorney and from that day they were sending to me threatening letters every day. I had no money (I had $25 and had to wait 2 weeks until next paycheck), no family, no friends, no knowledge how to act in this situation. In additional to all this he tried to do everything to leave me without any US documents. At that moment I had my conditional green card so he was thinking up some stories (he called it “evidence”) and contacted USCIS and American Embassy in my native country to have me departed from US. He even called the police and said that I broke into his home when he wasn’t there, he asked the police to put me in jail, he really tried to break my life.
When I contacted Oksana I was just lost, scared and exhausted of threats. Oksana took care of everything – divorce, immigration problems and related to it matters. Everything what we discussed were solved like we planned. We had to divorce before my conditional green card expires, so she did everything very quickly but it didn’t impact the quality of her work, she could prove that quitclaim deed is not legit and I wasn’t aware of what I was signing so she could prove that the condo was a community property and a half of the amount from the sale of the condo belongs to me. Recently I received my permanent green card without any RFE or interview and again it’s all thanks to Oksana!
Oksana is a highly professional attorney and a wonderful person. The work she has done is amazing! She perfectly knows her job, she is always prepared and keeps everything under control.
All cases are very stressful but Oksana was the only person who could keep me calm and positive. Every time when I talked or met Oksana I was convinced again and again that I am in very good hands.

To keep a very long story short I was charged with murder, gang enhancements,and gun enhancements in March of 2014. I was sitting in county jail for about two in a half years before I was blessed with Sarah eisenhart and Alyssa Huff. Sarah made sure I had all my paperwork and watched all witnesses videos. She hired not one but two gang experts for our defense and had our p.i interview many witnesses and kept me updated on all progress. She never encouraged me to snitch and she is not scared to fight against the system. She explained to me in great detail the law and the theory on me. We turned down every deal the da offered. At the pretrial stage Alyssa wrote a 995 motion along with my help as I spent countless hours studying the law and my case. The second day of trial Sarah successfully agured the motion and my entire case got dismissed. Any one who knows the law knows that is unheard of. As a result the da was forced to offer me a deal that was only four months shy of credit time served. Sarah is very well know and respected in contra Costa county. She is extremely smart and leaves nothing to chance. Don't waste thousands of dollars on a private lawyer who won't do half what Sarah can do. I recommend Sarah to anyone fighting a felony case in contra Costa county. Since ivea been out I run into countless people who all tell me the same thing every time.. I can't believe your out i never thought idea see you again!! I respond by telling them the same thing every time I had the best lawyer!!!! To this day I still keep in close contact with Sarah. Our relationship is more than just a lawyer cilent one. At the time Alyssa wrote the motion she was a graduate law clerk most lawyers never successfully write a 995 motion on a case like mine in there whole career. Alyssa did however before her career even started. Not only are Sarah and Alyssa great lawyers but there both great people who care.

I was lucky enough to have her appointed to me by the alternate defenders office! It was my first and only time ever having been in jail or any trouble at all. I was so relieved when she came to visit me and discuss my case before court which was scheduled for the next day. Ms. Eisenhart was soft spoken and kind, yet diligent and assertive. She was always well prepared and did everything in her power to genuinely help me get through my case which was a doozy of a first offence I must add. Numerous felony charges dismissed, thank god and my wonderful lawyer.... it helped that I'd never been in any trouble before that but there were times I'd missed court after h having been released from jail that I was still fighting the case and I had mistaken my court date and did not show up when I was supposed to and she had my back totally. She made sure the judge didn't issue a warrant for my arrest and got a new court date for me. My phone was disconnected sometimes and in that event she was always sure to contact my email until she got through to me and made sure I was ok and aware of my next hearing. She warned me when I needed warning, listened with patience even if I was ranting, and even let me know about certain family members of mine that were working against me so I could be aware and choose more wisely who I should and shouldn't share my personal business with. I really though that was refreshing and rare to be allowed information like that because it has a major impact on your life and sanity when people you love are working against you and everyone who knows about it just stays quiet while that watch you fall apart trying to figure out whose real or

Mr. Cuthbertson is truly one of the best lawyers I have ever met. I have been involved with many lawyers and unfortunately most of them they were there just because of money. He answered my emails right back every time I sent him an email. He talked to me patiently even when he was representing my son. He was compassionate and understanding every time I spoke with him. Public Defender's tend to catch a lot of flack about ACTUALLY defending you, because their paychecks come from the same place as the district attorneys. Not this guy! He was the only one who listened to me and saw that I was trying and not being treated fairly by the courts and law enforcement. The lady who I had spoken with had no empathy & I didn’t even get a full two sentences out before feeling stupid! Once I stated that I didn’t like how she was talking to me she changed her whole demeanor! Home wrecker. Didn’t even know her child client’s circumstances and continued to argue for breaking up a family for 2 years. She’s the kind of horror show “attorney” that you see in the movies.. soulless. btw Brittany, she’s home now and happier than she’s ever been. Maybe you should have listened to her rather than the words of a bitter ex. Your actions, or rather lack thereof, hurt a lot of people for a long time, and mostly a young teenage girl.

I went to the USA 31 years ago and was in Clayton, California.
I stayed with a judge & lawyer's family for 28 days, and I was warmly treated. Those happy memories inspired me to study hard and work hard. I wanted to have a better life on my own. Now I'm an art teacher, teaching bilingually in a junior high school in Taiwan.
I wish I could say thank you again to the host family, Mom & Dad, the most generous, kind people I've ever met.

This woman is a rude and vile person. She was once a substitute attorney for parents at one point in time a few years ago, now takes part in the cruel and inhumane cash for kids corruption scheme of family court, under the guise of court appointed representative of the children and their best interests. I am apart of a parental advocacy group that educates the community (almost daily), on the horrors of the despicable acts that transpire at the walnut creek courthouse. Yesterday I was sitting under a tree at the courthouse minding my own business and taking a break. She sees me on a regular basis. But yesterday when she was exiting the building she made a beeline for me she immediately started an interrogation, and verbal assault upon me, Unintaginized, which startled me and shook me, a tirade of insults she spewed forth at me. She appeared to be under the influence of maybe multiple substances. And her words were hurried and sometimes slurred. Her attack was over quickly, and she bolted towards her car immediately after leaving me stunned. All the while a man had been standing in very close proximity to myself and was getting ready to enter his vehicle and leave he stood there baffled and staring at the event unfolding before him. When she left she was driving erratically through the parking lot. The Man Who consoled me because he couldn't believe what he had just witnessed. He was very upset that this person who is supposedly a professional would do this to someone. I have now filed a police report, and if she harasses me again I will be refiling a restraining order.
