How do I begin to explain what Bart Betteau and his team did for me. He helped me through one of the most difficult experiences in my life. I had two attorneys prior to him and he made them look ridiculous. After I let my second attorney go I knew I was facing jail time and that was terrifying especially considering I had never been in trouble with the law. Me and my fiancee knew I needed not a great attorney but the best of the best. The only name we kept hearing was Bart Betteau. So we called and set an appointment. By the end of my first conversation with Bart and his team it felt like the world was lifted off my shoulders. There was not a single time where it took more than part of a day to hear back from the office when I contacted them. How many people can say that about their attorneys. And, it went beyond that! They contacted me on a regular basis to let me know what was going on.. I never had to hound them to get information about my cases. Every single time I went to court Bart stood out from everyone else in the courtroom. As I sat there watching and listening to him all I could think was am I watching a movie! I have never in my life been more impressed by any attorney including ones you see on the news. I think he may actually walk on water. At times he had his hands full with me because I didn't always make the best choices.. but, he fixed everything. Because of him and his team I didn't have a jail sentence and he even got me off probation early. Without them I know without a shadow of a doubt that I wouldn't be sitting here giving a review because I would be in jail. He certainly measured up to his reputation and then some! If you're reading this to figure out if you want them to represent you... Trust me it will be one of the best decisions you've made in your entire life. I will forever be grateful for everything they did for me including giving me my life back. They ended the nightmare I went through for almost 2 years.

Jennifer was hired 21/2 years ago to help me with my sons case. She always answered my calls or returned my calls when she wasn't there. Her husband also stepped in and helped when Jennifer wasn't available. She became a wonderful friend and I highly recommend her. I can't appreciate her and her husband more for their help. My son is out and at a halfway house doing wonderful . Thanks to them for all they did for our family.

I would stay away. I wanted to go to trial right away as I know I didn’t do what I was accused of. Instead of getting surveillance footage and witness statements he starts to plea with the prosecutor. Then when I tell him no he acts all surprised as the offer removes all charges for a fine and some other things. Now the prosecutor has throw tripled the charges and we have none of the surveillance footage all because, he felt it was his job to ignore the client to save a week of his time going to trial. And I am getting another attorney once I get more money to go after this crook

This attorney is very horrible. Doesn’t communicate, won’t be there when needed, takes your money but doesn’t render services. He’s VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Don’t ask for an itemized list of services because that’ll never happen and he’ll drop you. The only thing he is good for is helping you lose what you’ve worked so hard for. CAUTION Keep looking!!! . This man will take your money , loose your documents, act like you never paid him. He dropped me the day before my final hearing, demanded more money , then push my final hearing back several more months , then try to charge me another thousand dollars He is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL in my opinion. He talks fast but moves very slow… I paid him $4000. He tried to double charge me for final hearing that he refused to represent me. He cost me my home and all the things I worked for for the past 15 years of my life .He refused to turn in my paperwork to the courts. The the day of the final hearing he ripped my proposal in half and told me he would not defend me. It’s my case I will speak for myself. After all that after him letting me down, turning his back on me, then he found motion to withdraw again claiming I owed him money. The only thing I supposedly owed him was $50 that he refused to give me an itemized bill for any of the services he rendered to me because he never did anything for me please take caution….disappointed client🤨

I found Amy to be highly unprofessional, and highly ineffective with my case. I was rear-ended badly while I was stopped at a light and injured. I could never get in touch with Amy, nor her minions she assigned to help. There was little to no communication for weeks at a time. They never made me feel like I was important enough for their time. I missed a few PT appointments due to Covid and a snowstorm. She blamed that for my laughable settlement. She must have had friends and family write all these reviews, unless she just decided she hated me for reasons unknown, and decided to treat me unfairly. I can't imagine there would be a much worse option out there. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for an attorney.

Consulted with he and his assistant, Ms Carroll about a custody case. They took over 40 days to get back with me after the initial meeting, only to confirm information through what they called a p.i. that they sent out. I left custody paperwork that they asked to look over and if they could hold on to but then when i requested my paperwork back due to lack of communication that has been a totally unprofessional situation. Ms. Carroll emailed on Nov 2nd that she was mailing them back, now today after nearly 40 days, 2 more emails and several attempted phone calls................she informs me that it can be sent out COD with me having to pay the 10-15 dollar fee. Absolutely pathetic communication, lack of effort and the most unprofessional office i have dealt with in years. Don't know if it him or his staff but either way, it was a very disappointing situation.

Had some law trouble over 15 years ago. Was a young kid and had made a couple mistakes, dont believe he was out to do the best he could. As I look back 15 years from now I believe he did not even try though at the time he may have acted like it. Would not recommend for any defense, doesn't really care about results just money!!

Will tell you he can get you the best case scenario possible just to get your business then once you've gotten paid off he starts changing what he said and not holding up to his word. so you end up getting railroaded. Also is never on time. And does not communicate with you very well. Because he didn't communicate with me right I ended up having a warrant twice and going to jail for a failure to appear. all because he wouldn't communicate with me and tell me that he rescheduled my court dates I guess he thought I was supposed to know on my own, but that's his job to let me know when he does something for me.
