Although I received the “best possible outcome”, I would have chosen a different lawyer to fight a reckless driving charge in Northampton. I do not think my lawyer spoke on my circumstances well-enough to get me a true “best possible outcome” based on listening to other cases.
***Edit— This law firm holds high standards in servicing their customers and I am happy I chose them. I did not truly understand how the court system worked in Northampton and Attorney Huff spent his time to explaining how it worked and validated my concerns (now null and void). By far the absolute best Law firm I could have chosen. From the initial conversation to my first court date this morning, communication has been frequent and detailed and my mind has been put at as much ease as possible.
I was pulled over for an expired inspection sticker (missing), but was also driving on a suspended license, which can hold severe consequences.
I was able to walk away with the best possible outcome, which was dropped to "Failure to Carry/Exhibit a License", resulting in a $10 fine, plus court fines (that's a given).
My expired inspection was dismissed after showing proof of an updated inspection.
Many areas of my life would have been severely affected without proper representation. I feel despite my mistake, I was represented by someone who genuinely cared about my situation and was prepared to give their best (Attorney Woo Kim).
Coming from someone who overthinks a little too frequently and worries more than necessary, if you are on the fence about who to hire...I am writing this review in hopes to take the guesswork out of your decision.
100% worth it.

Couldn't ask for a better outcome. I felt like he fought for me and fought for what was best for my daughter. Went from nothing to full custody. It cost allot of money but you get what you pay for and more I would do it all over again even if he didn't get me the outcome he did. I really felt like he did everything possible.

I was recently involved in a hit and roll over auto accident in which I was charged and a citation was issued. I contacted Noah Weisberg to represent matter the matter. His professional skill and research provided information that proved that I should have never been charged as the law was vague and actually not understood by the officer. The charges were dismissed by the judge and to top it off, the officer actually apologized to me for citing me. Very professional representation. .

Mr. Sarfan was the best lawyer I've ever had! He always had my best interest. With all of his hard work he was able to get a non moving DUI brought down to a reckless driving ticket. Having a DUI on my record would have made my life extremely hard. But thanks to Mr. Sarfan I was able to walk out of the court room DUI free! 10/10 high recommended!

Mr. Anderson zealously represented me in criminal court and ended it with a Not Guilty verdict on ALL counts (4 charges). As a black woman, that means more than this review can explain. Attorney Anderson is comprehensive, thorough, and communicates very well with you as his client. When he meets with you, it’s about YOU. He made sure I was on the same page, asked me about my concerns, and explained anything that I was unsure about. His office is organized, clean, welcoming, and accommodates privacy. Mr. Anderson’s ability to articulate his argument in my defense was sophisticated. Mr. Hankins has help myself with neurmous cases, all have turned out in my favor with cases being completely dropped or a minimal un-surpervised probation for a 1 year period to then after completion of probation the charges be dropped. These cases ranged from simple misdemeanors to serious charges which could have led myself to be labeled as a felon; although Tim's wittiness save myself from facing the ramifications of the courts. I highly recommend him and I still remember his number by heart for that un-foreseen instance I get another charge. He is a doer and doesn't poke around the subject and can make an officer even doubt himself/herself of what actually happened at the time of arrest. For example, I was 20 years old, 2 months away from being 21, and I caught an underage possession of alcohol charge while fishing, I blantely told the marine police officer I purchased the beer since he stated if no one owned up to it myself as well as my friends would all get a charge, in court the officer showed pictures of the beer in the rear of my truck bed and told the judge I had admitted to purchasing the beer, Mr. Hankins then went on to perceive the marine police officer to be a total num-nuts and cross-examine him in a way that made plenty of loopholes in the officers story. Then the judge ruled the case be dismissed and to the officer who wrote the citation as well as all of the other officers in the court at the moment were stunned at the verdict since I had admitted to purchasing the alcohol and it was in my possession.

I had a disorderly conduct charge a few years ago and Mr. Short took care of it. He used his superior people skills and talked things over with the arresting officer. After some general apologies on my part for the situation, the officer agreed to ask the judge for a dismissal upon six months of good behavior. Great guy, makes you feel like he will get everything taken care of.

As I do NOT divulge any personal information over the telephone. I promptly contacted the law office of Riddle and Hanna. Ashley IMMEDIATELY contacted this low-grade, “law firm.”
After, oh, I believe 5 emails, Nguyen Ballato Law Firm finally provided the information needed to remit payment. However, my client ID number provided to Ashley IS INCORRECT!!!!
Which has again hindered me from remitting payment. I will repeat myself, if you need a professional lawyer who actually goes above and beyond Ashley, is your lawyer.

I was referred to this attorney and he came highly recommended, looking at the Google reviews and the extensive "knowledge" that was noted, I thought it was a no Brainer to higher him! Although, I could have retained another lawyer at a cheaper rate. I wish I would went with a court appointed lawyer and saved $2500.00 because he did absolutely nothing to help me. I payed in full way before my court date and never received a call or consultation (which was odd in my experience). I had to call multiple times just to follow up and see if i could do anything prior to my case to help, no advice was given. My discovery was requested a day before my court case and our first meeting was in the court room for about 5 minutes basically telling me to take a plea deal. I had a DUI and refusal. I was convicted of a DUI and the refusal null processed which basically means nothing was done, I would have achieved the same results representing myself or just pleading guilty to start with. There was no Alcohol test done so you would think it was a win, he didn't even try to get it reduced to wet wreckless or anything. His entire attitude and disposition showed me he really didn't care about the outcome of my case or about me at all. He showed up late each time and was very sinister while speaking with him. I absolutely wish I would have went with another attorney. I have a perfect driving record and no previous criminal record. I subsequently have to have Interlock for 12 months that cost $90. Per month, $400.00 for asap, $220.00 for restricted license and $500.00 in court cost. This is insane and can cause economic hardship for anyone on a budget. You have to have a FR44 on your Insurance which also increases your premium. I made a bad decision the night of my DUI charge and the day I retained this lawyer. I've been bleeding money every since. I get that the law is the law and consequences are standard for certain offenses but I can't help feeling like I had an attorney who didn't care about me. I recommend him to someone else prior to my case outcome. Another mistake. 2023 showed me alot, I'm thankful that I can afford to pay the cost and I have the tenacity to comply with all my obligations. The commonwealth or this attorney will never see me again. If you're going to refuse, refuse everything the field test and breathalyzer, you might spend 6 hours in jail but it will help your case in the future. I made a mistake that will stay on my record for ever, and possibly prevent future career opportunities. You only get one chance, this is your future. I would advise to always speak up for yourself, and if not satisfied excersise your right to request different counsel, the court will grant you a continuance, you may pay a little more because they will still deduct fees for whatever so called work they did, but it could possibly save your record and future. Most importantly obey the law people!! Lesson learned!

Joshua Goff is a walking VA Code encyclopedia that can articulate a very strong defense for his clients. He is the type of attorney you NEED in any criminal matter. When I first spoke with him on the phone, he was very professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and confident in his ability to defend the case… in court he transformed into a ferocious beast, showing no compassion to the opposition, and swung one of the biggest bats I ever seen in court. I am more than happy with the result and I could tell that Mr. Goff was proud of himself. That was clear indication that he challenges himself to be the best and he cares about his work. The best part about Mr. Goff is that you can tell he is passionate about what he does and being in the courtroom is his element. No matter how bad you think your case is… TRUST HIM! Doesn’t matter what your case is or what you look like… do yourself a favor and at least call him. He is affordable and is ready.

I do not recommend. Don't be dazzled by the sweet secretaries/staff or nice facility. If you value your child and custody, don't go to this firm. The list of issues I have is long, moral of the story is they provided false assurance, took me for a ridiculous amount of money to do nothing, and ultimately told me I should withdraw everything a year later. So I did and found a much more competent law firm and lawyer that was able to secure me and my child's safety.
