I got myself into 2 major situations and he saved me from the worst of the worst.
He is legit in any criminal case. John is sharp, determined, understanding, and extremely respectful. He got my second felony conviction that I was going to be serving 6 years for, reduced to 1 year Summary probation with the charge being lessened to a misdemeanor. John and his team saved my life. I got pulled over for speeding on my way home to Arizona where guns are legal. I had my gun in the glove compartment and got a cited for having an illegal firearm in riverside. I hired John Michael to defend me while I was in another state and he went to all my hearings for me. Eventually after completing a minimal program John had my case completely dismissed!! Super grateful to John for his help and how he showed up for me. I feel blessed to have that charge completely dismissed and a thing of the past!

I have known Mr. Allen for almost a year now. Since I met Mr.Allen he has been a great source of legal advice and support . He is highly knowledgeable and always gives me his honest assessment and advice as to exactly what I need to do to resolve any legal issue I may have and I trust him completely. Shumika is an amazing attorney. She is not out to do anyone dirty or lie about anything. She was very honest with me and I was with her. She had great communication with me during my whole divorce case. Even when my ex's attorney failed to even educate themselves on the case and attempted to play dirty pool, Shumika stood her ground on what was right and didn't stoop to their level. When I was charged with possession of a gun in California. I didn't know who to call me being from out state. I was in a complete panic after a argument with my ex-wife, she threaten to call the police and accused me of some serious domestic violence allegations, and she did. When I met with John Michels, he helped me calm down and allowed me to explain in detail what happen, once he understood completely, he took the time to explain everything, exactly what could happen and how he and his law firm plan to protect me. Dan Shapiro saved my life. If it weren't for Dan Shapiro I could be in a world of hurt right now. Although I was factually innocent, serious charges had been brought against me by someone seeking to use the legal system to retaliate. And even though I did not commit the crime that I was accused of, my defense wasn't perfect. Certain factors gave the appearence that the crime could have possibly happened. Enough so, that the District Attorney's Office was pursuing a conviction. The Police officer who arrested me had decided that I was guilty or deserved punishment even though I was innocent and and made the scenario worse by lying in his police report to make me look worse.
I was truly crushed as a human being, my family and loved ones were as well, very distraught over the entire event. My life had never been worse than it was at this point.
All of this is over now thanks to Dan. The case has been completely dismissed.
The difference between Dan and other lawyers from what I can tell is this.
1) Dan really cares about his clients. Dan really cares about other people and genuinely wants to help. When Dan decides that he will accept you as a client, he does everything he can to ensure the best result he can get for your case.
2) Dan gets to the root of the Law, stripping away the confusions and complexities which other lawyers bog themselves down in.
3) Dan has a good attitude, is intelligent and is very professional. Judges, Prosecuting Attorney's and Jury's cant help but to like Dan and give credence to what he has to say in the Courtroom. Which might make a difference in how they view your case.
To summarize;
If you want a Lawyer who will really care about your case and do everything he can within the Law to get you the best outcome possible, Dan is the man.
