In real estate and civil problems . His understand of law and able to bring the other side to the table to solve the case before going to trial has saved me money and a lot of stress. Being in construction business for many years and dealing with the public . Got me into legal issues .
I had found that mediation using the source of depositions
with both parties at the table solved the core issues and could walk out of the conference with both parties some what happy.

My case was back dated almost 2 years, which got very frustrating for me. There were many continuances, due to covid, and some I think were strategic. He charges a very fair rate (for misdemeanor crimes at least). In my opinion he is a very good lawyer and should hire a legal staff that will be able to 'do the little things' for him. Sometimes I felt like I had to remind him of certain things. But he's busy so I get it. All in all, Mr. Pickett is a very good lawyer and worth the money. He was able to get me a very favorable outcome to my case, given the multiple misdemeanor charges/cases I was facing. He will fight for you until the very end!

When it comes to details, Gary is on it. If I don't return a phone call, he'll get on my ass. He's someone that truly cares about his clients and will do whatever he can to win the case. He's helped me with as things as small as traffic tickets, to large scale criminal felony cases. He's attentive, and if he feels uncomfortable with the case, he'll tell you what it'll take to win, even if it means bringing on another lawyer onto the team. I have won every case with Gary, but even if I didn't, I appreciate that he returned every phone call or email promptly. This is something that many people should be aware about, as he is big on communication.

Alexis helped my husband and I with our case for limited conservatorship of our daughter, an adult with special needs. Because our daughter is high functioning, her case became unexpectedly complicated. Alexis always kept us informed promptly and came up with a plan, helping us request an extension and gather additional information. Alexis's expertise and outstanding effort, including writing a detailed statement for us and her presentation to the judge at our hearing, made all the difference in the judge's decision to grant our limited conservatorship. Without her assistance we believe we would not have the same outcome. Alexis's fees are reasonable compared to others doing the same work, especially considering our case took extra time. This is the most unprofessional and disorganized law firm I have ever encountered in 40 years of practice.
Multiple calls and emails to the office went unanswered and messages unreturned. The few times a person did answer, there was no apparent record in the file of actions taken. A signed lien was not honored.

A couple year ago I got arrested for Peyote. For those who don't know what that is; It's a spineless Cactus plant that the Natives uses for Ceremonies (Prayer Meetings). Which I didn't know at the time was Classified as a(drug), an Illegal substance?! Anyway, I was racially profiled by a Police Officer, and eventually consented to a search upon which he discovered a small amount of peyote in my bag. I was arrested and charged with a Felony. I contacted Roxanne Mosley right away, and got her on the Case. About 18hrs later I was released from the Alameda County jail. In less than a Month the case was thrown out. I was a free and innocent man once again. Without proper representation the System can swallow you up. Her passion is to avoid that by any means. Do not use this Lawyer. Worst experience of my life. He couldn't remember our conversations from one day to the next. Missed court several times. Couldn't get a hold of him for weeks at a time. Forced me into taking a conviction when my case was eligible for diversion took a offer from the DA that i told him i didn't want to take.. This guy should of retired years ago.

Very long process, ultimately advised to plead guilty resulting in very harsh (unexpected) penalities and fines - (i.e. advised penalty would be different) everything could have been handled in shorter period of time with far less disruption to my life. Horrible experience.
