"I can't speak highly enough of Attorney Allan Friedman. I randomly found his page doing a Google search. The entire experience, from the first time I called him asking for help until the very end, was EXCEPTIONAL. During our first encounter, he couldn’t take my child juvenile case, but he took the time to pass on my information to one of his colleagues who could help. Being clueless, in a panic and a court appearance in a couple of days and I went with another firm. THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE! I ended the contract with Ruane Law Firm (whom I paid) when my child’s case shifted to adult court; I lost complete faith. My gut and heart led me back to Attorney Friedman, who was my first choice. I can’t say enough about Mark Sherman, Christine, and their incredible team. My stepfather was facing two 20-year charges—First Degree Manslaughter and First-Degree Assault. The stakes couldn’t have been higher. Mark Sherman, Christine, and the team achieved the seemingly impossible, reducing the charges to misconduct with a Motor Vehicle—a charge that still carried a potential 5-year prison sentence—and yet they managed to secure no jail time for my stepfather. The team had the manslaughter and assault charges dropped. While he did receive 3 years of probation and a 3-year loss of his CDL, the outcome was far better than we ever could have hoped for.
Our family went through hell for about 8 years because of this case. The toll it took on my family, especially my mother, was unbearable at times. I’m lucky she’s still alive to celebrate this win with us after everything we have been through.

As Mr. Sherman advised, it is a slow process, over two years in our case. Nonetheless, his experience, attention to detail, and thoroughness, provided the guidance to work through the necessary steps and resolve the situation to a more favorable outcome. Of course, on our end, the process was not without a great deal of worry, anxiety, and the feeling that one may not endure the situation to the end. "I am an experienced paramedic, with awards and decorations, with over 20 years of experience. Recently I was terminated from my empowerment through no fault of my own. I had applied for unemployment compensation and was denied. I reached out to Attorney Lasko . After a through and extensive consultation with Attorney Lasko, where he was able to analyze my termination and give me a firm understanding of what my legal rights were as to wrongful termination and unemployment benefits, I retained Attorney Lasko. Attorney Lasko was able to put together an highly effective letter that was sent to my former employer which resulted in my re-employment and the winning of unemployment benefits in the appeal process that covering unemployment benefits for the time I was out of work.. Mr. Seeger was recommended to me by a friend a work, and I must say he was excellent and helping me straighten out my automotive/ driving permit legal issues.
I was facing what I considered to be a serious reckless charge though not a DWI. Not a serious charge but nonetheless, through his advice and counsel, I was able to rectify my issues and allowed me to retain my permit and keep working without having to turn to public transport.

I called Chas Abate late in the process in a deed-in-lieu where I was getting the run around from the mortgage company. What took me a year to get to a stale mate he quickly brought this to a final resolution. Not many attorneys would get involved this late in the process but he not only did but went to court the next day. Many thanks to Chas and I sleep much better at night thanks to him. I would highly recommend him and it was money well spent. I even received a refund for the money the mortgage company took from my account incorrectly 2 years prior that started the whole mess in the first place. His final invoice was detailed and extremely fair. If I had to do this all over again he would be the first person I would call. He has restored my faith in the legal system after getting the run around from the attorneys from the mortgage company. Thank you Chas you are truly a good person.

Needed some simple advice to review an out of state order and have it moved to Connecticut. Victor took my money (twice), asked me to send him a document to review and act upon, but he (and his assistant) then failed to respond to several phone calls and emails when I tried to follow up. Victor seems to know his stuff, but is clearly not interested in the small stuff. (who is, I guess?) Many months later and I am no further ahead...trying to work it out on my own...

I used Vic for a custody battle in new haven and was over charged and had less them stellar results in the end I was even sued by Vic and had a lean put on my house by him this is not an attack just facts even the attorney that was hired as a Guardian at Leitem for my child was in agreement that his fees were way over priced needless to say in the end I did get my child back on my own after releasing Vic but still got sued by him and had a lean put on my house to insure that he got paid what he did not deserve

Victor knows his way around the law books. From a Non-Attorney perspective things seem to happen the long way around with a lot of extra hearings and aggravation that literally have no point. Victor is a very capable and knowledgeable Attorney fighting an up hill battle for most of us, yet I can not help feeling slighted and semi ripped off in the process. He is very busy, this however is no excuse for lack of preparation for a hearing... preparation that I have PAID for... a Hearing that I am PAYING for. Bottom line is, he has the knowledge, he has the skill, yet when confronted with these concerns will bail on you.
The Potential is there Victor. You could Shine like no other. Not one person in that Court House has more knowledge of the law than you. Slow down, use it like we all know you can.
