If you are looking for a great lawyer look no more.. Patrick is an amazing lawyer and did an excellent job with my case. I retained patrick to represent me in a probation violation case.. During this I found out I had a few more warrants that I did not know about. He helped me with those cases also with no extra cost to me. At arraignment the judge planned on reprimanding me to jail but Patrick got me a PR bond. At my plea hearing I should have been sentenced that day and had a recommendation of 60days in jail. Patrick got it to where I was reevaluated for probation and had a new recommendation done and spared me from that 60 day sentence. Finally on sentencing day with my new recommendation Patrick went to bat for me and again did amazing! Not only did I not go to jail I also did not get probation. I was a free woman! None of this would have been possible without Patrick. I would be in jail right now if I had not hired Patrick Fragel. I highly recommend him.. Not only did he get me the best possible outcome at court he also was very kind, open and honest, non judgemental, available whenever I needed him through out all of this and he settled my nerves with his calm demeanor. There's a difference between lawyers who know how to look up the law, and those who know it off the top of their head. Whims is the latter. He instantly caught something that the other side I think was completely unaware of. It ended up giving us a ton of leverage in a very satisfactory settlement. I would recommend him to anyone, except someone who might use him against me! LOL.

I made the unfortunate decision to drive after drinking. I was charged with OWI with high BAC. (.19, and .17) After talking with several attorneys in the area, I made the decision to hire Robert. Robert took the time to get to know my personal accomplishments and not just the crime I committed. Because of his commitment and professionalism, my charge was immediately reduced. In addition, at my sentencing I was given non-reporting probation, and a 4 hour highway safety course. When I first contacted Robert I was facing a car installed breathylizer, possible jail, reporting probation, and community service.
Robert also has the respect of the courts. Regardless of how many people filled the court room, Robert was always the first case the judge called. The judge made personal recognition of Robert, which put me at great ease.
He is a family man, but also respected professional. He is involved in his community, and it is obvious everyone that works with him (judge, court employees, probation officers) has great respect for him and find him trustworthy.
I would recommend Robert to anyone looking for an attorney with a wealth of knowledge and who can guide you through a difficult situation!

Ed is a common sense business lawyer with impeccably good judgment. Based on my experience with him, any person buying or selling a home should consult with Ed prior to listing or signing on with an agent. I sold my home with a fantastic listing agent, but the experience was still extremely stressful and I felt a listing agent was necessary because I was unfamiliar with the transaction. As nice as my agent was there was always the uneasiness of knowing his interests were not always in line with mine -- it's just the nature of the beast. When it came time for me to buy a new home I spoke with Ed first. I learned from Ed that working through an agent was not always necessary and that engaging a homeowner about selling prior to listing with the help of a lawyer like Ed is the most prudent homebuying strategy. Ed and the title company he works with were able to handle all the technical/legal aspects of the deal and answered all the questions that I would have ordinarily directed to my agent. The eventual deal I made was better for both the buyers and sellers; it was a win-win deal because neither party had to endure the work and stress of the open market, and the ultimate sale price netted the seller more money and had us paying less. By paying a flat fee Ed's duties as a lawyer were owed entirely to me and were not influenced by other factors. Also, Ed's expertise goes way beyond for-sale-by-owner transactions. Anyone doing real property or commercial transactions should consider retaining Ed and give him a call.

Ed negotiated the sale and handled everything for me, and he made a difficult situation much, much better. Matt is great at his job! Hes kept me from going back to prison multiple times. Everytime I got sentence with Matt as my lawyer I ended up getting less time than my guidelines said. He had me get a court ordered mental evaluation and I pretty much got an insanity Diagnosis so I plead insanity and got less than 8 months instead of going back to prison for five years.

Kristyn is an absolute rock star!!!!! She handled my divorce as well as a child/family matter. My divorce was tricky as there was a child involved that was not my child and Michigan state law says I would be held accountable as the father. In my divorce hearing the judge complemented her on how well she structured my case and explained that any other way of doing it likely would have been denied. In my family situation, she was so well prepared; I was truly impressed. My file was three times as thick as the other side of the isle, and before the hearing she was rehearsing her opening statements. This made me feel like I was in the hands of a true professional and someone who cares. Where do I start? When I contacted Ryann, I called him to take my case against a former employer, this was due to a work injury and Worker’s Compensation dispute. Jonathan Hagy was amazing with putting our family’s estate planning documents together in a short time frame and for a great price. I used to work for an estate planning lawyer in another state, so I have a rough idea what I’m looking at, and the documents he put together for us were top notch, and very clearly spelled out everything. I could've represented my husband better!
He never read anything until the weekend prior to Mondays trial. He convinced my husband to take a dismissal because he was not involved with the counselor. IF HE WOULDVE BEEN IN OUR CASE, he would've known that my husband had been trying to FIND out who the counselor even was. Had he of filed the paperwork, when he said he did and charged us for it, he would've known this stuff. He promised to do my husband's case probono next time. Hahaha I won't dare call him AGAIN. So unprepared and never delivered on ANYTHING, but still wants to send us a bill for MORE money! For what?
Oh and someone else had the same name as my husband, different spelling in the last name. We received this man's bills, this man's important paperwork as well.
Extremely unprofessional and we don't even know who's bill is who's.
Save your money. You're better off defending yourself.

Craig started off strong and supportive but once the retainer check was cashed things changed quickly. He will not respond to emails unless I wrote a letter and signed it. He would get very upset with phone calls, he did not ask for evidence that was very important to my case, he uses scare tactics to keep you thinking he is fighting for you, when he has no idea what is going on. Very poor and unappreciated attitude towards myself and my wife.
We hired him because we were in a situational asking for help above what our current understanding of the law, I fired him before my preliminary as I felt like I needed better representation. I did ask for our retainer back since we were so little into the case and of course it’s non-refundable. I would hire someone else and avoid Craig at all cost. Now I understand why they keep their doors locked.

I am not from this area and was accused of something by the police that I didn't do. I hired Ross to represent me in court. He was courteous, really cared about my situation, and worked with the prosecutor. I was not from the area and he was able to arrange all of my court appearances so that I only had to come up north twice! Otherwise I would have had to take more time off work at lease 4 times. He knows his stuff and was right on with what he thought my outcome would be. He returned my phone calls in a timely matter and answered all my questions.

He was hired to Defend, he did nothing, filed nothing with court did not give reciept or return calls. When trial came he didnt even file a brief or make a opening statement. Did not one time object to prosecutor repeatedly having alledged victim read prior statements, whole paragraphs because they could not remember what they said at each hearing. Did not defend and smiled about complete railroaded conviction. The proof is in the transcripts. The convicted one or any evidence, witnesses nothing heard or shown to the court, only the accusing side. Dont believe anything good about this Person, dont put your loved ones in care of this Person. He wont give your case any care, put in any work and actually helps the prosecution. He will cause you even more hardship by trying to fix the mess he causes by not defending you at all. Trust anyone else before you do him.
