I was using Attorney Farmer’s office to handle a criminal case a few years ago. My ex was falsely accusing me of child abuse to win a child custody battle. Attorney Farmer deferred the case to Attorney Langford. He was smart and calmed my nerves with his sense of humor. He told me why from a legal stand point what my ex was trying to do the court wouldn’t go for.
He told me do not feel worried going in and that he was not afraid and very confident that we would have a favorable outcome. He calmed me not only with his confidence but his reference to how he was tackle each charge in accordance to the law.
Even though my ex didn’t show up and the case was tossed out- I did not walk into the court afraid I was very at ease.
He even referred me to the most excellent child custody office - Murphy Law Firm.
I highly recommend Attorney Langford. He will give you the confidence you need- deff the defense I needed to beat those false charges against me. I know without a doubt had my ex showed at court- Attorney Langford would have taken care of it without breaking a sweat.

I hired Ed O'conner for 2 different protection order cases (at $1500 a pop). The first one was dismissed by the judge as it was clearly ridiculous and the judge had some common sense. The second one, however, became one of the worst things that happened to me party due to the incompetence of this lawyer.
Less than 3 weeks after the first, the second was filed for unrelated accusations. CPS unsubstantiated the claim. In our discussions leading up to court it was very clear that we would take it to trial. I provided Mr. O'conner with any information he requested. At the hearing, he decided that we needed to make a 'deal' and not go to trial. I argued with him and he shamed me, saying I was a pain to deal with. How could I be confident to go to trial with a lawyer that clearly did not want to? I was between a rock and a hard place. I ended up with supervised visitation of my child, when before I had half custody. I was defeated by my own lawyer.
Later, when problems arose due to the agreement not being written specific enough, he argued that I was wrong about what the deal was. I asked if he checked his notes and he answered 'no'. I reminded him that last time I spoke to him he didn't even remember who I was so how can he be so sure of his memory of such a specific detail? He responded that I wasn't making any friends like this. I told him how unprofessional and unreliable that I felt he was and am now conveying this information to save anyone else from this type of situation. Luckily, I later found a great lawyer who was able to undo all of the foolishness of this situation and restore half custody and my relationship with my child. My current lawyer and the judge both stated how it was a terrible decision to make that deal when CPS unsubstantiated the charges and I was given bad legal advice.

My son was acquitted of 1st degree murder and several other charges. He was also reasonable and never made us feel uncomfortable. This lawyer’s office lied about never receiving my discovery pack in dec. first time offense, search conducted on my household - search warrant wasn’t obtained til 11 hours AFTER search... open an and shut?! Mooney advised me to cop to multiple felonies.. that was my lawyer. Upon my release in January, I went to Mooney’s office and refused to leave until my discovery pack was given. They said they would have “to look for it”. I told them I’m not leaving until it’s found.. they magically find it 3 mins later.... after weeks of being told that the office never received it. Truth behold, this legal doc was stamped, stating it wad received by the law office one month earlier. this was the lawyer's office that was supposed to protect me

In the middle of a case involving a family member I have communicated several times via email and telephone with Ron Earnest and have found him extraordinary in his grasp of the legal system. Also he has been highly skilled in his communication with another family member. My guess is that the person who gave Ron Earnest the lowest rating (while I vould be empathetic with him regarding his pain) did this because Ron lost his case. But, let's get real - there would be nobody in the prisons if lawyers never lost a case. I hope that this overly negative review will be retracted. It is vital that the most competent attorneys be encouraged in their difficult work.
