Okay so let me start off by saying first and foremost Scott Bentley is truly truly the Bentley of all lawyers. From the very very beginning when I caught my case over 3 years ago Scott has been there the entire time. He truly cares about his clients and actually takes the time to make sure he's prepared for all the court dates. He also has a great rapport in the courts and with the judges etc and is very well respected. He truly goes that extra mile. And like I said we fought this case for 3 years and then after the outcome I was arrested and he came to see me in jail and was at all the court days and appeared on a 977 multiple times. My case was extremely extremely complicated and very in-depth. I really don't know what I would have done without him. He is not only a great person in general but he's also very encouraging and positive. I really can't think him enough and I'm here to tell you that if you need a lawyer Scott is the best and you won't be disappointed. So please don't make the mistake of hiring somebody else because I don't think there's any other lawyer like Scott Bentley.

I called the office of Brian Vogel to ask a few questions on how to apply for a restricted license. I have not been convicted of the DUI in the court but the dmv has suspended my license for four months. Brian was not in his office at the time of my call. His assistant Liisa took 20 minutes out of her busy day to answer all my questions and help clarify everything. Brian Vogel is not my lawyer, but his assistant Liisa treated me like one of their own. I'm very thankful for the help and highly suggest Brian Vogel for anyone that has any problem with the law.

From my first meeting with Mr. Sandbach he made feel comfortable and was honest. I was so impressed with his skill and presence in the courtroom. The way he presented my case to the jury was amazing. I was confident that no matter what the outcome he had given it his all. Though it was a very stressful situation he made it so much easier for me as I went thru it knowing I could put my trust in him. We ended up winning the case! I was up against very expensive LA attorneys and I wasn't doing well when it came to keeping custody of my little girl. If it wasn't for attorney Brenda Andrade, I'm sure I would've lost full custody. I did not want to be a part-time parent my daughter depends on me. Brenda was fierce with my ex-husband attorneys.She seemed always one step ahead and through many motions in court, and discovery she was able to get me full custody without going to trial. Richard Hanawalt is a brilliant man and knows all the angles.
Don't let his years in law confuse you with his age. He is quick, versatile and doesn't miss a trick.
He is well known and respected in this county as an attorney. This was obvious throughout the courtroom.
This man also took time for me EVERY time I needed him and was right on top of my case.
This in itself, amazed me.
Anyone who believes "Old dogs can't learn new tricks" has not met Hanawalt.
Needless to say, I am pleased with the outcome.
I don't take time to give reviews on anyone or anything unless I am truly impressed. I recommend Mr. Hanawalt highly. He represents the true meaning of a Gentleman and a Scholar.

Bobby represented me in 1989, I was lucky enough to have him assigned as my attorney as a private attorney and he. Fought tooth and nail for me. And he was fighting against the Almighty judge McGrath who I happened to like very much as well., Had it not been for Bobby I probably would have served twenty years, But I'd Was given Much less and with good time I got out in less than three years. This guy is legend in Ventura County. Law students go to his trials to learn how to cross-examine a witness. I wouldn’t want to oppose him in court, but my nephew was lucky enough to be referred to him by a judge who is a family friend. Thank goodness. This lawyer spends hours poring over his cases and returns calls and emails promptly. My nephew was wrongly accused, and two other well known attorneys in the area, DL and RB, told him to plead guilty. Robert
Schwartz fought for him and won an acquital. Cannot even imagine what would have happened if we had hired someone else. VERY reasonably priced compared to the other attorneys we spoke to.

Great defense attorney. Helped me get my felony charge dropped, then after being good for 6 months my misdemeanor charges were dropped too. Appeared for me at all my court dates so I didn't have to travel back to Ventura for every hearing. Took my case for HALF the amount that the LA lawyers wanted. Highly recommended.

Damnon Jenkins was my public defender for a case in ventura county and an amazing one at that! He had many cases but I always felt like I was the only person he represented. he represented me for 2 years and got a felony charge with 5 year sentence plus 3 years parole reduced to a misdominor with 3 months probation he always was honest with me gave me great advice but always let me make my own decisions I highly recommend him as a public defender for Ventura county

We hired Dan Ditlof about two years ago. He helped my son and me get through some horrific dealings with DCFS. If anyone needs to be represented in this area, Mr. Ditlof is the attorney to be there for you. He will fight with all his knowledge and veracity to defend you and your rights as a parent. My son had to go through two separate trials and was found innocent of all charges that were brought up against him by DCFS. We were devastated by these charges, but Mr. Ditlof was there for us, not only for the legality but also emotional upheaval. He was and is our lifesaver. DCFS needs to be accountable for their actions when found by the court to be wrong. And also not to be in charge county counsel. I cannot recommend Dan Ditlof enough.

I hired Mr. Jarrod Wilfert for a DUI with injury case. This case was over two years old and even though I originally was told, I passed the sobriety test and did not get a DUI for some reason they decided to bring it back. Keep in mind, I had made several complaints about the police department, ignoring restraining order and allowing me to be abused. I had all the evidence to show not only was I assaulted that same month which is why I tested positive for a medication. They didn’t decide to bring the charge back because I got an evading police charge because I have PTSD Which had already been communicated with the police department many times. I did not evade the police. I let the car roll forward while having a panic attack. I tried to make that case for the police Evasion case Which should’ve been allowed because I really did have a mental health diagnose That I had been treated for four I had proof that I dealt with Negligence from the police and I put in reports. Nobody cared they wouldn’t let me make those arguments and they let me get a conviction which made them review the dui Decide to charge me. I had proof that I was assaulted that same month that I put in a complaint to the police department because the police who responded was friends with my ex who was my abuser. I also had proof that my car was rear-ended just a couple weeks before, and I took it into a mechanic who said that if it continued to Have break problems To bring it in, I had text messages with the owner of the car telling him that I thought I needed to bring it back in. I was on my way to the mechanic when the accident happened. I passed a sobriety test, and my roommate was with me when I passed it But for some reason, two years later during court They changed it And it said I did not pass. These were all viable arguments I could’ve brought in front of a jury But was advised not to because Mr. Wilfert told me he believed I could get it reduced to a misdemeanor, And from what I understand that would’ve this dismissed The whole case. While going through all this, I had to watch my abusive ex get hate crime And then get them dismiss due to mental health problems. Which he only saw because he was court ordered too, But as a woman who deals with a real medical condition and pays out-of-pocket for my my treatments Wasn’t the same treatment within my own community because apparently I’m a bad woman who needs to take a accountability. Besides all this There was several mistakes made with my case. For some reason, the police were very eager to have me go into the jails, So I was requesting house arrest, especially because of Covid. Mr. Wilford receptionist told me she was sending in the paperwork, right away. But after contacting the sheriffs department, I found out the paperwork was never turned in, I had to fill out the paperwork myself And turn it in last minute. If I didn’t persistently I would’ve had to go into the jails at one of the most dangerous times during Covid. Months later, I had texted Mr. Wilford because he told me to text him anytime, I texted him four times in one month Because the judge told me if I did everything within months, He would reduce the charge to a misdemeanor And get me off probation. So I was excited and I was texting him trying to get information on meeting up to discuss this. He never responded and you see me get concerned as if I thought something happened to him.
