DL Vermont is simply an outstanding Law Firm! The whole team from the Lawyers, Paralegals and investigators, are all extremely conscientious, ethical, honest and very knowledgeable. The whole team is exactly what they present from the first time you meet them. Nothing short of humane and understanding of any situation life unfortunately can present. They state they are "out of the box thinkers", that is hands down exactly what makes them great at what they do. Sam and his team are nothing short of people with integrity that you want in your corner. I had never experienced the Court system, hired a Lawyer or knew anything that I was up against. The whole team was very informative, very patient with me, transparent at all times, and kept me up to date on the process at a moments notice of them knowing. From providing support, lunch meetings/check-ins and advice on how to find peaceful ways to make it through the process. This firm hands down is the sole reason I made it through my situation with my dignity in tact, and the outcome better than I expected! The attorneys and the paralegal at DL Vermont work as an incredible team and are totally dedicated to their clients. They certainly worked tirelessly to create the best outcomes for me. I was looking for a lawyer who would be aggressive and effective in a complex legal matter, and I was highly satisfied with DL Vermont. In addition to being excellent lawyers and advocates, they were also stellar communicators, had a great sense of humor, and made my whole situation feel more bearable. They checked in on me regularly and even provided me with their cell phone numbers so I could call and text during and after hours. In the end we won my case. It's the situations in life you do not expect that take your breath away. One morning I had a frantic call from a friend I never dreamed would happen. This person's spouse had experienced a mental health issue that quickly turned life-threatening for my friend. With the help of local law enforcement, the individual fled the family with nothing, young children in tow and went immediately into hiding. Facing frozen assets, homelessness, and an imminent threat to life, this person said, "I need a good attorney - who do you know?" I immediately referred them to Brittany LaBerge at DL Vermont, assuring them that Brittany could handle the situation no matter how big or small. Rob answered my call the first time and explained what the charges meant and how the process worked with no BS. Rob handled my situation and got me a quick resolution that was more than satisfactory. I would not shop around if you need a lawyer just hire Rob, he even returned most of my retainer promptly with ou me even asking. Awesome sums it up!!!!

I hired James for an unusual case and he was superb. He listened...REALLY listened, then he asked questions, presented multiple options and allowed me to make the decision on the course of action. Once I did, he methodically prepared prior to court. He compiled evidence, established timelines and culled the information according to how pertinent and impactful it would be. In court he was articulate and firm without being overly aggressive. During cross examination he showed how, when and where the plaintiff had lied. I received an outcome beyond what I hoped for. While the circumstances of hiring James were tough, his work was beyond reproach. I highly recommend him.

Austin truly cares about his clients and you are definitely not just another case when Austin is representing you. He always gets back to you to answer all questions either through email or a phone call or both when necessary. He makes sure to pay attention to details and he will see your case through from start to finish. Austin is truly one of the "good guys" a true modern day Perry Mason mold of a lawyer who will genuinely do his best to represent you and he will not just try to push you through the system like a lot of lawyers want to do these days. He has a five star rating with his communication skills and with his knowledge of Vermont laws. I never plan to ever be in trouble with the law again but if ever the need arises I will not hesitate to have Austin represent me once again.

Take a 70-year-old, sleep-deprived, bleary-eyed, city-dwelling, out-of-state grandmother caring for a newborn, making an early-morning grocery run for her children and their family, driving an unfamiliar vehicle on foreign country roads. Combine all that with a local sheriff aiming a radar gun. The result is a speeding ticket which, despite a stellar driving record, would have wrecked havoc with this grandmother's already hefty insurance premium. I couldn't return to Vermont to fight the ticket myself, so I hired Evan to represent me in the case, hoping to have the ticket reduced to a non-moving violation. What did I get? Excellent representation that resulted in dismissal of all charges! Thank you, Evan. You are a godsend.

I was accused of making a false phone call to 911. Williston Police tried to charge me with making the phone call, and causing a "public safety hazard". They were seeking a written apology (most likely to be published in the paper) and a $1000 fine to cover "Fire Department" coasts. My father is an NYC firefighter - and that wasn't happening. Ian did not hesitate when I told him to tell the Fire and Police Departments to pound sand, and I would NOT be writing a check for $0.01. I was ready to take it to court, but because of Ian, the Fire Department and Williston PD folded, and the charges were dropped. As Ian will admit, he is not the "least expensive" attorney in Burlington - however, I'd rather be the one with the gun at the knife fight. Right? So, thank you to Ian, for handling my situation quickly, quietly and getting my desired outcome. I will recommend Ian given the chance; and although I hope to never need his assistance again, I wouldn't hesitate to hire him or his firm.

Andy Delaney is the best attorney on planet earth. He is Tom Brady meets William Wallace meets Gandalf. My wife and I were in an all-of-a-sudden horrible and complex situation through no fault of our own (which I won’t be getting into here). We exhausted several family and friend recommendations for legal counsel in this area but it seemed that no one could/would help with our case. Then, after seeing the high Google review ratings, we decided to take a chance on MDR who were at least willing to meet with me. About five minutes into the meeting, realizing the complexity of the situation, the guy I was meeting with says, “I think I need to get my boss.” Enter Andy… Within one hour I walked out with a cohesive plan of action, and (despite MONTHS of research on my own) a hundred times more understanding of the legal circumstances we were in. Walks the walk! Andrew Delaney is unique in that he truly believes in the principles he advocates for. Most of the world, especially at the professional/fancy-degree level, is motivated primarily by money, but Andy was persistently focused on doing the right thing. Not pretending to do the right thing, and not doing the right thing to the extent required by his job, but actually doing the right thing for its own sake. Andy has a brilliant mind, equally able to make witty jokes and cite obscure procedural rules from memory, and an unheard-of work ethic, willing to focus on a case above his own needs at 9pm or on a Saturday, and still be good-humored about it. He worked tirelessly for us, preparing his strategy perfectly, piecing together everything, thread by thread, until he had a beautiful tapestry that showed the truth of the matter in a direct way. Andy also does one other thing that is unheard of for attorneys in his (exceptional) skill bracket as well: he is willing to communicate. The entire time, he gave feedback and explanations and was never too important to take a call and genuinely care. Mr. Langrock treated my son as his own, and fought for him just the same. The first lawyer we had was in over his head and looked at me like my honor roll student is going to jail for a long time, even after showing him the evidence we had. We fired him and hired Mr.Langrock, and were very grateful he took our case. He told me, trust me, It’s going to take time but believe I know your son is innocent and we will get through this. It was hard dealing with an incompetent states attorney (DW), but Mr.Langrock kept his composure. In the end my son was unscathed, and Mr.Langrock was true to his word. I am forever indebted to him for all he did for my family. It’s very scary when you know your son is innocent and the courts were so back logged that to the judge and States Attorney it was like moving cows through a parlor, they treated everyone as guilty. Very eye opening and I can only wonder and weep at how many innocent sons, daughters, fathers etc that couldn’t afford a good lawyer are now sitting in jail or convicted of bogus charges. If you are innocent, Langrock is the man you want. He will fight for you because he knows how many people get wrongly convicted and feels it’s his duty as a lawyer to make sure the truth is known. Thank you Mr.Langrock, I can sleep good at night again! I’ll never forget the first time walking into court with you after we fired the first lawyer. All of the sudden there was respect and 2 state’s attorney’s because they knew they were in for it when Langrock walked in. Very quick witted and not to be pushed around. We can’t thank you enough! Amy Davis reached out to me during the most difficult time in my life, when I lost my beloved puppy Berkeley at the hands of an evil human being. She offered her services pro bono because she is that kind, and is a huge animal lover. As far as I can tell, this isn’t a real lawyer. I’ve called the number and left messages a couple times over the past couple weeks. 1. There’s nothing about the voicemail that even mentions anything about any type of legal anything. 2. You leave you name, number, brief message. Never a call back. 3. Nobody I’ve spoken to in this area has ever heard of James McFaul. Don’t get your hopes up.

I found Chadwick Law online through a Google search after receiving a speeding ticket in Vermont, so I was taking a leap of faith based on online reviews. I found the team thorough , knowledgeable and responsive. And they got my ticket dismissed! Definitely a positive experience.

Chadwick helped me to contest a traffic violation in VT. They walked me through all the steps with clear, easy to understand language, were transparent in their pricing and were upfront about the probabilities of different outcomes from the start. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. (Also they got it fully dismissed :) )

Never informed me of anything. Was hard to get a hold of and never told me my license was suspended and almost got arrested again because he failed to let me know fully what was going on. I don't recommend. Won't return your calls for his mistake. Missed several tickets had to come in to tell him that not worth the 3k

I was charged with a crime i never committed here but there was enough evidence to make me look guilty to some. I was recommended mark furlan by another client of his and he make one phone call and the charges where dropped. Hands down the best lawyer I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

We met Josh initially for a worker comp case for my husband and we couldn't be happier with the result. He was always in contact to let us know what was going on with the case. Since he was attentive in our case we have since decided to use him again for other matters. Josh never made is feel like a dollar sign. Attorneys like Josh are hard to find.

I can't recommend Ed Fitzpatrick enough. He is a fantastic lawyer and good person. He took care of my grandfather's legal needs and his estate and couldn't have done a better job. He is honest, experienced, and trustworthy. Highly recommend anyone/everyone to use him for their estate/will (or anything else).
