In all, two very difficult cases. Mister Fetter was not only honest, forthright, realistic but also heartfelt. These qualities rarely found in an attorney. He truly does care and he knows his S$&@t. Mr. Fetter was consulted by myself to assist with a case against my son. The transparency of his service and expectations one would expect was spot on. It is hard to truly capture my full appreciation and recommendation for Attorney Benjamin Wurtzel. Most of us don't think we will need a criminal defense attorney in our lifetimes. I found myself in a situation where life changed in an instant and as a new mother in the midst of a major storm, I was in desperate need of competent and reliable counsel.
The complexity of my case was astounding and I knew immediately after the initial consultation with Ben that he would be unlike other attorneys. The research he had done in a short time frame showed me that he was intelligent and diligent, with careful attention to details. (I spoke with several other attorneys who either rushed me off the phone or seemed genuinely perplexed by my situation - bringing zero confidence in their ability to help).
Throughout the subsequent months, Ben kept me informed every step of the way, often wearing a very patient "teacher" hat, explaining the court and legal systems, since this world was quite foreign to me. I never for a second questioned his allegiance and surprisingly - his empathy (a rarity among lawyers I'm sure). I felt genuine concern and care in every correspondence which, to put it bluntly, brought much needed peace during very sleepless nights.
This peace extended out to my anxious friends and family who also came to trust Ben and his instincts, even through they didn't personally know him. This to me, was priceless.
I now see that an outstanding attorney cares about their clients, is knowledgeable of the law with a track record of success, is highly intuitive and able to both read people and circumstances quickly and is a master negotiator... Ben is all of these things and more.
My case resulted in mostly dropped charges and a no-contest plea, for which I am forever grateful to soon put this season behind me. It's a tough job he has and while I hope I never need his services again (smile) I cannot recommend him enough to others who do.

My husband was in need of filing a motion to have his probation modified and we could not have been blessed with a better team. Ben was extremely thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. Michael first of is humble, respectful and delivered a true customer service approach. Our family had a school board involved hearing involving a bad decision our child made. Michael took our case on short notice, mind you recommended by the firm I initially hired. He was presented to us as THE BEST around in this area of defence. Truth be told we feel that he is. In addition to that his local ties and network makes him invaluable as an attorney. In our case I believe his preparation with us though it was short, it was on point. That alone was worth the retainer fee. We followed his direction and everything he said was going to happen, did. It was as it was scripted... Why does this matter? Undeniably the best decision after a terrible decision was to hire Guy. The fear of the unknown on a multitude of levels was taken away with the ease of process and comfort of having Mr. Gilbert represent me and my case.

I was referred to Lori by another lawyer. Since my case was very

1) Out of the dozen or so I called, he was the ONLY one who spent time listening and breaking down the scenario before even discussing a fee. He actually cared. He wanted to fight this unjust scenario.
2) My case was civil, but he approached it like it was criminal, and knew all the appropriate avenues to take.
3) He put on a clinic. I left happy and won.
4) He answered all my texts and calls in appropriate time. I'm sure I wasn't the easiest client, but he never once made me feel bad for my concern over my case.

This was the first time in my life I have ever found myself on the wrong side of the law. Throughout this process he was knowledgeable and aided me in navigating my way through the darkest period of my life. My case was complicated, muddled in falsities and obfuscation. Chris was able to untangle it all and put forth a comprehensive approach that anticipated everything. At the time I did not fully appreciate the amount of time, effort and patience he had. I also learned after being incarcerated how broken the legal/corrections systems in Orange County truly are. I hesitate to elaborate more, suffice it to say he exceeded expectations and could have quit on me several times throughout the process. Do you want someone who shoots straight (don’t BS this guy EVER, he is one of the most intelligent people I know). I was fortunate to have been recommended to him by another attorney acquaintance. She told me, "If I was looking for representation for myself, based on the charges you have, I would look for the best possible attorney available, and that would be Donald Lykkebak. He has over 30 yrs experience, has a great reputation, and is highly respected by the prosecution, judges, and attorneys."
I was and am a client of Mr. Lykkebak. I say was and am, because even after my case was resolved, I still communicate with him, and he is always there to answer questions and provide any support. If you have been in any legal situation previously, you understand that there are always lose ends to tie up, and Mr. Lykkebak is always there, every time. He is very resourceful with all aspects and needs of his clients.
I had the experience of walking into a courtroom and having all of the other attorneys sit up straight and acknowledge Mr. Lykkebak as we entered. I can't say enough about the Strecker Legal team. They were amazing. Their main office is in South Florida, but I dealt primarily with James in the Orlando office. He was fantastic. He was totally responsive to me and I felt comfortable asking him questions. He filed a motion and sent a letter to the State Attorney's office and the case was dismissed ! James made an appointment with me and we discussed my case face to face and I was much more comfortable with that. I would definitely use Strecker Legal again.

From what I can tell, criminal defense attorneys are all about making crazy promises and then disappearing once they have your money. James (JJ) always returned my calls and he explained what was going to happen at each step of the process. His fee agreement was fair and he charged me exactly what he said he was going to charge. He is worth much more than what I paid. I would absolutely recommend him. JJ and Strecker Legal are fantastic.

So it began a year ago when I hired Mrs White to take her on a case as to where a lighter caused my car to catch on fire... 8 months into her taking my case I could not get any information nothing was being done there was never an update I finally complained and the very next day I got a letter of declination... So after I received my email of declination I called Miss White and she tried to say that it was because there was not enough evidence and the story had changed which the story had never changed you cannot waiver from the truth. Miss White proceeded to say that she would continue to go after the manufacturer of the lighter company for the amount that he offered being $2,500 when there was clearly $7,100 worth of damage done to my car. So at this point it being too late for me to hire another attorney a year after the fact I was going to agree on yes please get the 2500 will ever since then I have been trying to get ahold of Mrs White via emailas well as phone I cannot get ahold of her and she does not call me back so where do I go from here if you ask me that's pretty lousy to do someone that was expecting you to fight for them but because you complain they resign from your case

I had a very disappointing experience with Scott Millard. From the start, communication was a major issue. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, they often took weeks to respond, leaving me uncertain about the status of my case. During critical moments, such as court appearances and filing deadlines, they were either late or completely unprepared. On one occasion, they even missed a court date without notifying me in advance, which caused significant delays and frustration.
I also found their advice to be inconsistent and at times unclear, which made me question their expertise and commitment to my case. While I understand that legal cases can be complex, the lack of professionalism and attention to detail made the process much more stressful than it needed to be. I would not recommend this attorney to others based on my experience.

Currently handling a case for my 19 year old who was trapped into taking a breathalyzer on campus. This attorney spent a lot of time with her on the phone and in consultation, explained how the case would be handled. We live out of state and she had to handle most of the attorney search herself- . Treated her like a younger sister, not just a case. Some of his cases are handled in Holland too, I believe-. I read a lot of articles on judge Post in Ottawa County, Your children should avoid Ottawa county and the semi-demented judge Post if at all possible. Fees are in the middle range of all the quotes my daughter received. Worth every penny and more!!!!!(contacted over 10 attorneys) some didn't even return calls to her.

Initially everything was good. He stated a letter would go out asap. Took 5 days for me to get it for review, then another 2 to mail. He didn't read emails thoroughly or only chose to answer them partially, not sure which. Had to follow up on 2 different occasions. Stated he would set up a meeting, but never heard back. He let me know he was swamped, but that made me feel less important. I got another lawyer.

He claims to be available and eager to help, but trust me, he’s only interested in your money! You are not his priority; his other clients are, except when it comes to billing. Charging $500 per hour is a rip-off. I had to change lawyers, though he wanted to fire me first because I told him I was unhappy with his service. What kind of lawyer fires a client instead of helping them in their most vulnerable time?

Mr. Grossman is the worst attorney I have ever hired. He doesn’t communicate at all. He will not return emails, phone calls, or text messages. Once every 3-5 months I would get a text from him telling me that “he’s working on the case”. It’s been 2 years of no movement at all. Save your time, money, and sanity. Do not hire him.

A while back I hired Michael for a traffic(speeding) ticket. I hired him to get the points dismissed and so that I would only have to pay a fine. After meeting with him, he discussed this strategy with me that I had never heard of before. He said he had not argued this in front of a judge before but he felt confident in his argument. I agreed we should go for it! He seemed to be confident in his approach. Well, Michael got my ticket dismissed! I was SO happy and very grateful! This attorney is a certified scum bag. He's a scam artist, unprofessional, his personal hygiene is embarrassing, highly unprofessional, dishonest, no zeal or advocacy for his clients, no regard for bar rules, he'll dodge all communication attempts, the list goes on and on.
A public defenders representation is far superior than that of William Fredrick Treabold III. I wouldn't accept his services even if offered Pro Bono.
Avoid him or any firm that is foolish enough to associate with him. Unless of course you want to waste your time, your money and you prefer incarceration over freedom.

Tichiena Tucker was my attorney 2020-2021. At first she was nice, but afterwards she was very unpleasant to work with. I was already dealing with a lot at the time, she would always down talk me, always gave me an attitude or smart remark to something I said. She literally made me cry 2 times after speaking with her because of how misunderstood I felt. I’m a young mother & I would ask her advise, she guided me in the wrong direction.
