Mr. Jewell was extremely helpful during a security clearance adjudication and subsequent appeal. A medical provider in the Air Force had rendered a harsh evaluation, and Mr. Jewell helped build, review, and submit responses to the Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DOD CAF). Although my clearance was revoked, Mr. Jewell continued working and engaging through the appeal process. He provided timely and accurate information on both the clearance adjudication and appeal processes. Developing a plan for a second medical evaluation and separate medical opinion, Mr. Jewell helped my case be successfully appealed and my security clearance reinstated. He was always responsive when called or emailed, even through roughly 20 months of the clearance adjudication and appeal process. Although military members can self-represent in the process, Mr. Jewell backing my response submissions gave me great peace of mind, especially when it felt that I was being outcast by the entire base medical community. I also felt that my leadership took my case more seriously when notified that I had hired an attorney. I would never want anyone to go through the same experience, but I sincerely appreciate all the help, effort, and support from Mr. Jewell over such an extended time frame. It was very comforting and uplifting to know at least one person truly believed my side of events, and he was willing and capable to prove the facts.

Guillermo and his team helped me fight a psychopath with a history of litigiousness. The psycho who sued me had sued more than 8 people in the past 4 years and with Guillermo's help we shut him down. He won't be using lawsuits to extort money from anyone else. While I paid a hefty price, it was worth it to prevent a lot of other people from falling prey to the plaintiff. My husband hired Kimberly Bishop for a business litigation matter, and she was able to help bring a close to the matter within 6 months! I hired Mr. Guequierre long-distance after receiving his name from the Lawyer Referral Service. I felt confident I had a solid case, but needed legal expertise to move past a stalemate in direct negotiations. After an initial call with Mr. Guequierre, and a few emails to clarify some questions, I felt confident that he had the necessary expertise and experience to help, and was trustworthy (of particular concern being out of state). In the initial call, Mr. Guequierre also clearly explained how the case might unfold, and what legal costs would be involved, so I knew what to expect and could assess the cost/benefit. He also indicated that he felt we had a good case, given the issue and the fact that I’d documented everything along the way. Thus, I hired him.
He began with an intake process to gather information and documentation for me in a well-organized way. He then engaged the other party's legal counsel, and we eventually reached a settlement that matched what I'd tried to negotiate without legal assistance. Through the process, Mr. Guequierre responded to my inquiries in a timely manner, shared detailed knowledge about relevant areas of the law and legal proceedings, kept me in the loop on all communications with the other party, shared helpful advice to help me make decisions about potential settlement terms, was diligent about following up with the other party to get a response in the agreed upon time, and was easy to communicate with (personable, approachable, etc.). Overall, I found him to be professional and honest. I would recommend him and hire him again if needed.
