Julius was very informative, so helpful in getting me divorced. It was quick and easy. If you have limited childcare he does consultations over video chat, and his office is right in town for meetings, to discuss the simplest way to get your needs taken care of. I was recently represented by Jessica at the Holland Law Firm in a collection lawsuit defense. From the process of booking a consultation, to that first meeting itself, and all the following communication and time in court, my experience was wonderful. It was overwhelming to be presented with a summons and then research the case, trying to figure out how--or even if--I should defend myself. The ease of the intake process as a client helped during my rattled state in the early days of the lawsuit, and the Holland team put my mind at ease with realistic projections of what might happen if I took various paths in the lawsuit. They were able to quickly identify steps that needed to be taken, which was good since this was a "large" case with more complicated case law than standard/smaller claims. On top of that, they were able to get the plaintiff to drop their case altogether! Best possible outcome. Easily the best money I ever spent was in securing their representation; their professionalism and knowledge saved my mental health, my finances, and gave me hope after I'd given up.

From the get go, the Whitney Law Firm gave me precise instructions on how to handle my case. I purchased a car online from a dealership in Maryland ( I'm from California). They hid a major mechanical flaw, making the vehicle worthless. I was guided to Whitney for representation. Before even representing me, they told me where to file a case with the Maryland MVA. It took a few months, but the MVA found in my favor. Dan Whitney Jr. stepped in at that point, took over, and reclaimed every dime I had spent on this endeavor, even getting my legal fees back. Where do I start? We were lucky to be referred to Mr. Darrow when we thought our case had little hope of being favorably resolved. Being from out of state (Illinois), we were worried that our case would be taken with a grain of salt. Not Mr. Darrow. He was detailed, fierce, intense and honest with us from the beginning. When we finally were able to meet with him in person, he was courteous, respectful and really good at breaking things down into Lamen's Terms for us. I hired Mr. Darrow on a reference from a friend to rep me in a business matter (construction and contracts), which he did a wonderful job!! He believes in keeping attorney costs down and was wonderful to work with. I had a very complex matter regarding my drivers license and the MVA due to legal circumstances . I hired Peter Casciano to appeal the denial of my Maryland state disability retirement application. I have been absolutely amazed by his knowledge, skill, professionalism, understanding of the law and compassion. Peter knows my case inside and out. He gathered all of my medical records and data, and his understanding of disability law in Maryland is boundless. Peter made me feel like a part of his team and shared all his remarkable plans of action and asked my opinion about issues. A skilled listener, Peter communicated very well, answering questions through emails and calls very quickly. I understood the process of this difficult law because he answers questions so clearly. Appealing a decision at Maryland state retirement disability is a very difficult and arduous process, but Peter guided me through expertly, and made it easier to go through knowing I had him. I ended up having a hearing in front of a judge and I was initially terrified, but Peter reassured me and prepared me well. Watching him in front of the judge made me feel confident and supported because he is a brilliant, skilled knowledgeable lawyer, in court and has a gifted mind for the complications of court and what the other side says and does. Peter was and is an advocate for me the whole time. Thankfully, my application was approved by the judge, and it was all because of Peter‘s abilities and skills, but even if it had been denied, I’d say the same things about him. He is a shining star in the disability law world, and I give him the highest recommendation to anyone going through this difficult situation , Peter had an associate attorney named Molly Friedman, who was meticulous about keeping my records, and ensuring that my file was complete and indicative of my real illness. Mr. Casciano called me in response to an email inquiry regarding difficulty in obtaining a decision regarding our adult daughter's disability determination after about 8 months. After listening to my story and asking follow up questions, he said that we were on the right road, and gave some specifics on my follow up with SS. He said that we did not need to hire him at this point, and he did not want to take our money for no reason. I followed Mr. Casciano's suggestions, and about 8 weeks later we received the determination that our daughter is disabled and not capable of working.
It was a blessing to have someone listen to my story and give me reassurance that we were doing things the proper way.
He told me that I could call back and hire him if we did not receive an answer or needed additional help after we received the decision.

Kevin assisted us with the resolution of a claim against a particularly difficult party who insisted on appealing multiple rulings against them. What should have been settled by reasonable business people or a single hearing about the facts of the case, the defendant and his attorney insisted on using every means possible to delay and draw out the process. Although this wasn't a huge claim, the issue was based on fraudulent billing by the defendant and we wanted to see it through the entire process on a moral basis. Kevin did a great job getting the defendant to court and making our side of the case clear. We prevailed and Kevin also assisted in collecting the judgement after the defendant began stalling after the judgement was rendered. I highly recommend Kevin for your business law concerns!

My neighbor was claiming ownership of a large piece of my property and had built a fence on it. Kevin Best review the claim with county property records and agree that I had ownership of the property. He review my property rights with me and suggest a plan of action to remove the fence and on keeping her from excising ownership of it. The plan was successful and the encroach fence was removed. Currently she is staying off the property.
Kevin was more then helpful when the Home Ownership Association question the fence removal. His knowledge of HOA convention rules were very helpful in responding to the Community Association.
I would hire Kevin again.

My experience with the Law Office of Kevin J. Best has been a very positive one and I plan on maintaining a professional relationship with this attorney.
I had been handling my particular case myself only to have it appealed (by the person suing me) twice and moved to different courts. The person has now filed their third and final appeal (allowed) with the court of appeals. I found myself in a situation where legal representation was a must. I had ten days to respond in writing to the writ of certiorari for the court of appeals. I needed an attorney-fast!
I googled attorneys and found Kevin J. Best, located in Annapolis. I was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Best personally answered the phone. I was immediately able to discuss my very complicated/time sensitive situation. I scheduled an immediate office appointment (2 hours) and fees were discussed during our phone conversation so there were no surprises. I felt Mr. Best was very reasonable. During the office visit Mr. Best very clearly explained and advised me with examples on how to respond to the writ of certiorari. Since I already had a rough draft of a response and Mr. Best was not familiar with the case to date he advised me to follow through myself to keep the cost down. I worked on my response at home-emailed it to Mr. Best the next day. Within hours he revised it and put it into legal format and emailed it back to me all prepared and ready to mail to the court.
This was above and beyond my expectations. All I had left to do was print, make copies and certify mail it to the court. I made the court deadline with days to spare and I filed the paperwork appropriately as required by this court's rules and guidelines- which I had no idea about. All with the help of my new attorney- Kevin J. Best. If needed Mr. Best will represent me at the court of appeals.

Absolute pleasure!!! Max was incredible! Unfortunately for me this was my 3rd time dealing with a D.U.I arrest charge. I was staring down the barrel of a possible max of 7 years, 5 for the new charges and 2 from my previous charges in which a guilty verdict on the new conviction would trigger a probation violation and those 2 years would be in play. Max was the best Attorney I’ve dealt with in all my charges. His communication was amazing never did I have to wait for anything! He navigated my case between 3 courts, District, Circuit and then an alternate Drug court.Appearing at all dates and times on time, even from 2 Counties away.
