I reached out to her about my situations and she was rude and unprofessional. I was explaining my situations and once I mention the companies she tried to argue me with PROCEDURES and I stated I know I'm not a professional but I just read laws on contract repudiation/breach, then i was interrupted, she went on more about the procedures then I asked well what about this statute and that one and since when does procedure triumph the law. Being that the loan was sold makes the contract an actual breach, she interrupted and said. Look you called me asking for my help and if you're going to try and tell me how things go and don't want to listen then I may not be the attorney for you and if you're not going to listen I will terminate the call in a very aggressive and annoyed tone, like I was her child. I replied you need to watch your tone and I will find another attorney because you don't even want to hear me out, you keep being rude trying to talk over me and interrupting telling me about the procedures. I'm very aware that loans get sold on the regular but there is still a correct procedure that should be done and the North Carolina General Statutes speaks on them and I can read and comprehend very well. As I was speaking she was interrupting by attempting to speaking over me which annoyed me, like where is the professionalism. And I ended to the call because I let her actions take me out of character. And all I was trying to do was get advice.
Then I get on here and see she has a mediator title as well, now that's hilarious.

I contacted this number for help with a DMV hearing. I was told it was going to be 200$ to get started with pulling records and going over them. All pretty standard except how little I actually got for the 200$. Spent maybe an hour on the phone for 3 minutes of information. Then I was quoted 2k for the hearing help. I would look down the street.

I returned a product to a store owner and he claimed he would issue me a credit on my credit card once his credit card machine was working again. He never did after multiple phone calls and then sent me a bad check. Melissa wrote him a letter to "put the fear of God (or fear of lawyers, perhaps)" into him, which seemed to work, since he finally sent me a check for my refund that cleared.

Ms. Brumbach represented my firm on two separate occasions. The first as a member of a legal team who defended us against a former client. Rather than meet to discuss the concerns in person, this client was persuaded by an aggressive law firm to resolve the matter through the courts. Their incentive being the expectation of a large insurance settlement from a policy we carried at the time.
The second was as our attorney in a suit to collect fees from a client who withheld final payment for work we performed. Rather than meet to discuss, this client ceased communication.
In both instances she became familiar with the facts very quickly and developed a well conceived plan for both our defense and the merits of our claim.
We would not hesitate to engage her if the need arose once again.

Mr. Gordon represented us against a fraudulent building contractor. He was tenacious against the individual. After winning in court, and gaining a sizable judgement for us, he was able to turn that judgement into a secured lein on the individual's property. As you may know, judgements don't mean you will recover your losses, but the secured lein has provided the opportunity to actually recover our initial losses. Briefly stated, "You want Harry Gordon to be your lawyer, not opposing council".

I highly recommend Harry Gordon for any business needs. Attorney Medlin is an excellent lawyer. I am a private provider whom was targeted by DHHS in an audit in which they requested almost 1 million dollars, alleged in over payment. Upon my initial contact with Mr. Medlin he quickly came to my defense, formed a plan of action and was very well prepared to go to trial however though his expertise and injunity he was able to stop them from trying to terminate my medicaid number and cleverly enlightened them on all the mistakes they made during my audit, while pointing out to them their benefit financially for not finding the needed items in my records, as the auditors receive a percentage of whats paid back in their findings. He proved to them that not only were my records in tack but also that they failed to accept responsibility for their system errors which have caused many problems with providers being held accountable for their failed authorization system. Needless to say this is an awesome man who walked me through the whole process, assisted me with document searches, and made sure I understood all aspects of this overwhelmingly agonizing process.
