I am updating this review as somehow someone left a one star under my name. I'm not sure how that happened but I apologize. I have been working with Jameel Williams on my disability case. I was referred to this office by some other acquaintances that have used their services. Since working with them, the staff has been very pleasant, helpful and compassionate during this difficult time. Mr. Williams has been very responsive and has kept in communication regarding my case every step of the way. I would recommend this office for any of your legal needs. Social security and the state of Michigan is very difficult to work with and Jameel is doing everything in his power to get a favorable outcome for my case. If the need arises, I would definitely not hesitate to work with them in the future.

Amanda has done a great job when I needed help in legal. I've met few lawyers, I was not happy. I almost decided to represent myself to handle my cases. Although, I do not have law degree. I would have lose quickly.
Until I met her, I was impressed when she was being honest about two of my cases. She took her time to listen about my two of my cases. She warned me one of my case would be difficult and may be impossible to get off one of my debts. She is different than other lawyers.
With her experience in legal, she knows what she aimed for. From my own point of view, she's hard working lawyer, and she always prepared when she done her homework. I'm grateful for what she had done for my cases. My shoulder have been lifted after we received great news. If my family or friends need legal consult, I would recommend her.

Initially Mr. O'Mara was contacted by myself regarding a collection notice I had received. I wanted to validate the charges and stop the calls while resolving this matter. He gave me advice how to handle the harassment while he reviewed my documents. Finding out all charges were valid he then assisted me in making affordable arrangements with the creditor ----and didn't charge me a dime!!

My daughter was injured at a home improvement store when she was around 10. We held off on settling with the company (under the advice of a different lawyer) as my daughter was taking dance lessons. If we settled at the time of the incident, and something happened to my daughter during dance, we would not be able to blame it on the original incident as the preceding cause of her injuries. So we waited until my daughter was older. Because of the type of injury my daughter received, even though it wasn't severe, she was traumatized enough to cause a series of events to occur for almost 12 years. There were periods of slight depression, anorexia, stomach issues, and unwillingness of going to school. We touched base with the same lawyer over the years, and were advised that my daughter could hold off until she was 17-18 since the accident happened when she was a minor. So we did. Once the end was near for being able to go after the company, we were referred to Sean for assistance. He reviewed my daughter's case, and accepted the challenge to help my daughter. After a couple of months of going between my daughter, and the company where she was injured at, a settlement was reached. My daughter received her payment, using it to purchase her own vehicle, pay the registration/licensing fees, and settle her boarding fees for her horse she got as a gift from family. If it wasn't for Sean, his ambition to help, and his knowledge of cases like my daughter, she would still be hesitant on doing things, because no one else wanted to help her with what happened that day, thinking it wasn't a big deal. But to my daughter, it was a big deal, and Sean believed so too when he met her for the first time. And to this day, 2-3 years after he took on my daughter's case, she still contacts him to say thank you for believing in her.

I contacted Brian back in December 2012 regarding a debt situation in which I had no available means to pay back in full. I was quite nervous, upset, and depressed over this entire situation. But once I sat down with Brian, he assured me that he would do everything he could to help. While walking my dog in my neighborhood one Sunday morning, a dog launched himself through a screened window that had a hole in it.
The german shepherd grabbed my arm and mauled me severely while dragging me into the driveway next to the house. After emergency surgery to repair the damage from a compound fracture (including plates and screws) and a stay in the hospital, I began the search for an attorney to guide me through the legal process of addressing the incident.
Because of a previous auto accident when I was represented by Barry Lakritz, and because of the level of trust I had in him and his team, I reached out to his office to see if this would be something they could help me with. Once they saw the pictures of my arm prior to surgery, they immediately agreed to handle my grievance against the homeowner.
I understood how the process worked and that it might take some amount of time to gather evidence and process it through whatever necessary systems (i.e., insurance claim, court, etc). But, Lakritz Law took the time to keep in touch with me and explain exactly what was happening. They even came to the courthouse to view my personal petition regarding the disposition of the animal that attacked me (something they do not legally handle).
Lakritz Law worked quickly and professionally to address all my concerns. Their entire staff was extremely knowledgeable and responsive – with special gratitude to Erika for all her time and attention to the details. Jason Hagelthorn helped me with setting up my new business. He took all of the stress out from under me and my partner. I had been trying to settle a debt with American Express on my own, but the next thing I knew they sent my account to collections and filed a lawsuit against me. Bronte took care of the court documentation for me, and was able to negotiate with the creditors attorney so I only had to pay 6K of my 12K debt. Set an appointment to speak to an attorney. The only method to make an appointment was to set it online and pay $35.00 Waited two weeks for the appointment. On the exact time, nobody called. I called the office but was impossible to reach anybody live, Left a message. I have not received a return call. I am very disappointed that this law office was so unprofessional. Very disappointed. Waited two weeks to speak to But to no avail.

They do not care if you know about a upcoming court date or not. They will randomly send an email out but in my case never got it. Got court documents from another client as well as documents stating I missed court date which is really not good. Checked with office staff and she said they have been having problems with the system, hmmm. So now chances of me getting more time with my child have greatly be compromised. You are just a number push here.
