Saw this law firm online and based on good reviews, I contacted their office and Atty Lebedin called me outright and had given me consulatation for free. I went to his office and Atty Arthur was so gracious listening to my woes with regards to my credit card debts. He’s very knowledgeable of what he does and very professional. Atty Arthur Lebedin and all worked hand in hand as a team to make things right for me sooner than I thought. I paid almost just 1/3 of my debt or $9,200+ discount from the original amount Im supposed to pay! So grateful to be represented by this amazing lawyers esp to Atty. Arthur Lebedin & Atty Stephannie Miranda. My case was resolved in no less time. Needless to say, their professional fees are reasonable and fair. Highly recommended lawyers/law firm. While on an overseas deployment, I had received a citation for a Dept of Buildings violation that I was not responsible for. Due to my deployment, I was unable to appear at hearings to defend myself. It’s a job at the end of the day to most. If Aaron Shapiro or the force that is Amanda Schaffer takes your case, TRUST THEM. Full disclosure: I am a nightmare client. On a scale from 1-10, I’m an 11 in terms of annoying. My son is my absolute world. I have been a “white pony” more times than you can imagine. Over-billed. None of it made sense. Those attorneys cared about a paycheck. Aaron and Amanda are not only EXCELLENT attorneys, they’re good people. They have a backbone. Their time is valuable. They’re not cheap. Know that. When your child, freedom, or immigration status is on the line — don’t put it in the hands of someone who treats you like a file. Hiring a New York attorney can be a nerve wracking process. If you are like me, you first have to endlessly interview attorneys to find one that is even willing to undertake your matter if its not worth millions. Then, after you finally find the willing few, you select the one you are most comfortable with and hope for the best. Fortunately for me, this time around, I came across Mary Madeline Roberts. Right off the bat, I had a great feeling with her. She was extremely knowledgeable and versed in contractual matters and guided me every step of the way through the entire process. She raised extremely important issues that I would never have considered had I proceeded by myself and has already saved me more time and money than I can relate. Also, she was very generous with her time and spent a lot of time with me upfront getting to know me and learn about my needs before I even retained her. Most of all, she never nickle and dimmed me, charging me for every little thing along the way in order to pump up my fees. This is a rarity that I really really appreciated about her and unheard of in New York in my experience. There are so many firms out there that really take advantage of the little guy and I can tell you the Ms. Roberts is NOT one of them..... I highly recommend Ms Roberts to anyone with a contract dispute or who needs a great attorney who is highly competent, effective , gives you a great over all feeling and who treats you very fairly at the end of the day. The best decision I made was hiring Cannon Kearney to represent my fiance with his child support case. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Jack . He was consistently unavailable and seemed more interested in concluding the case with our landlord and getting paid than addressing our needs. Near the end of our case, he pressured us into "giving in" rather than fighting for our rights. We later found out this was just to expedite the process. After following his recommendation, the landlord forced us out, despite assurances that this was not possible. Since then, Jack has not returned any emails or calls. He is not reliable and I would not recommend his services to anyone.
