There are no words to explain what a compassionate and hardworking lawyer Alan Schorr is. I hired Mr. Schorr regarding a disability discrimination issue with my previous employer. He was always very prompt in replying and answering any questions I had, is very knowledgeable, and is very easy to work with. Everyone I dealt with from his firm was great. He really helped make something very stressful into an easy process, and he was supportive of my decisions regarding settling versus going to court. Unfortunately, I sustained personal injuries from a pedestrian hit and run; however I was fortunate enough to have been recommended to work with Michael P. Burakoff. He was very diligent to explain in detail everything to me to make sure I understood what was going on every step of the way. Even though I know he has a busy schedule, the way he took his time with each meeting and phone call made you feel as if you were his only client. The way Michael listens with such compassion truly makes you feel like he is on your team. His legal secretary, Sandra Griego was fantastic to work with as well. Both Michael and Sandra are extremely quick to respond, on top of their game and so organized which is definitely crucial for any case. A few months ago, my job laid me off without notice. They handed me a 14 page document to read and sign full of legal jargon. Feeling uneasy about signing these papers a friend recommended Aimee to me. Not only did Aimee attend to my needs, but she took the time to go through the document page by page. She explained to be what the job was requesting and negotiated on my behalf for different terms. Not wanting to have any contact with the company Aimee did all communication on my behalf. By the end of the negotiation I received more money than what was originally offered to me.
I am not recommending Aimee because she got me more money. I am recommending her because it was clear that my needs were her first priority. She is detailed oriented, trustworthy and caring.
