The journey through the immigration process seemed daunting and choosing an attorney seemed perhaps even more daunting.
After a first consultation with Kevin,
the process just appeared very straightfoward.
All the information he gave was clear and concise, bringing alot of needed reassurance.
He consistently remained accessible during the entire process with upmost patience answering any new questions that would arise.
There we're some complex aspects to my case that required in depth law expertise and Kevin went above and beyond to finalize brilliantly!
I couldn't have found a better attorney!
For the success of my applications but also for the extra kindness demonstrated along the way.
I also want to mention how Immigrating is and can be a very costly journey to embark on. Affordability and unseen costs we're a concern. I have appreciated that Kevin kept all fees transparent and consistently fair from go to finish!
I think he could charge more in regards of his time offered, so many other attorneys do so ruthlessly but this too reflects kevin's integrity and dedication to helping others.

I had reached out to Jean to discuss/review a separation agreement that I received from my employer. She was very accessible - I was able to speak with her directly on my first outreach (vs. many other firms who required a detailed questionnaire or discussion with a paralegal). Based upon that first conversation, it was clear that she had good intentions (it wasn't all about how much she would make from the settlement) - her desire was to help me achieve an appropriate outcome. When a person is wrongly terminated it takes away more than your job. You loose the essence of who you are, your confidence, your trust in people, how you interact with the outside world. You feel ashamed. But, Jean was able to change all that for me and my termination turned out to be a blessing. Jean gave me hope from the very first conversation. She and Katherine won my case and the money was great but what they really did was continually make me know that the termination wasn’t my fault. They believed in me. I lived across the country from Jean but it felt as though she was right next door. She was in contact when necessary and was always available when I needed to ask something. Prior to my being able to retire, I was "let go" from my position. As a professor, I had never received a bad review in my seventeen years of employment, and my students were very positive about my teaching. I had published books, represented my institution here and abroad and organized major colloquiums. My identity was wrapped up in being a professor, so I was at a complete loss about what to do when I lost my job. I will always be grateful for the help and understanding I received from William Corman. When he entered the picture, his sterling reputation was recognized by my former employers. His efforts on my behalf were taken very seriously. Any attempt I would have made regarding a settlement would have been dismissed. I ended up with a sum of money that would see me through a couple of years if I needed it. Time to pause and reflect on the future without the stress of financial hardship was essential -- required in order to think clearly and logically about how to go forward instead of falling into a lengthy depression. I had taken on a large company where I had worked for personal wrong-doing. I received a lot of rejections from other attorneys; however, I knew that I had a strong case, and knew I just needed to find the RIGHT attorney that saw what I saw in my case.
Then, I met Mr. Corman. He invited me into his office, and listen intently to what I had to say, asked questions, reviewed some documentation that I had. By the end of the meeting he told me that he would take on my case. He also gave me a clear and accurate assessment of how much the fees would be ( he stayed true to this to the end of the case). There were subsequent meetings after that, and he never gave up on me or the case - always keeping me apprised on the progression of my case.
To make a long story short - We won the case!!! Without Mr. Corman's dedication, and belief in me and my case - I could not have won. Thanks again, Mr Corman.

I hired Kevin to represent me in a legal matter involving a workplace issue. Ms. Rubinoff represented me several years ago during an escalating employee/employer dispute with Patelco Credit Union. Her calm disposition put me at ease during a very frustating period. She asked excellent questions during the fact-finding stage. She pushed me to be candid where I was concerned that the truth might not help me. She provided me with a map for securing closure in my relationship with a former employer.
I was immediately impressed with how quickly she responded to messages even if she was only advising me that she would be unavailable for a while. I was kept current on all communications between her office and the employer's attorneys. Ms. Rubinoff helped me to organize my thoughts and articulate my percieved harm. In addition she was able to help my then wife feel comfortable with the legal process as well. I would recommend Bob Salinas to anyone facing bad behavior from a landlord. We went to him when our landlord tried to illegally evict every person in our complex, and he guided us through the process of collecting evidence and responding to the eviction threats, and then helped us through mediation and to a settlement that kept us all in our homes.
The thing I really want to stress, though, is how kind and patient he is with his clients. Needless to say we were beyond anxious and stressed out over the landlord's threats, but he was always there for us, giving us so much more of his time than he had to -- even though our case was much smaller than many of the other cases his firm handles.
Going with the Salinas Law Group is one of the best decisions we've ever made.
