When I started looking for legal help with my workmen’s comp case, I was frantic, frustrated and overwhelmed. I was in pain and no one seemed interested in helping me. Me and my husband are very happy with our decision hiring Jeffrey as our lawyer.
We had to deal with seller's non-disclosures and we didn't really know where to start. At first we had a consultation with different lawyer, who charged us 150$ for a 30 minutes talk, was very unprofessional and left us with more questions than we had before. After that we decided to get a free consultation with Jeffrey, and were so pleased that he spent over an hour with us and was able to explain everything in details, answered all of our questions and suggested the directions we should be taking to solve this case. So we had no doubts that he is the right person for our case.

Before I consulted Mr. Kolman, I did not believe that there was any recourse for my labor dispute situation. I had already spoken informally to a family friend who is an attorney and was told that there was nothing I could do. Having just moved to the area with my wife, I suddenly found myself without income or allies. However, when I called the office of Kolman Law, the staff there was very attentive and confident that they could help me. I was able to speak with Mr. Kolman that same day. My discussion with Ari Karpf was nothing but eye opening and extremely informative on the situation I was subject to by my employer. He is a very quick learner and after hearing the quick details of my situation gave me the confidence that he would go to bat for me and ensure that my employer would have no choice but to be fair to me. I am averse to conflict, and as Ari understood this he helped me through the options I could use for communication with my employer that met my needs. He seemed to be a very honest and realistic counsel that I would go to for any of my legal needs in the future. I recently had an opportunity to work with Ari regarding an adverse employment situation with a public university in Pennsylvania. There are so many things that stand out from my meetings with him.
1) Following my call to his firm, he initially contacted me on a Sunday which worked great for my schedule - I loved his availability.
2) He was personally invested in the assessment of my situation and did a great job asking questions about the circumstances of my case without giving false hope about the strength of my case. He was matter-of-fact and specific.
3) He took incredibly copious notes. About a month passed between my initial phone call with him and me ultimately hiring Ari to assist in navigating my situation. When we met for the second time, I was amazed at the thoroughness and recollection of the details of my case and we were able to get right into the heart of the decision making about how to move forward. And once I hired him we met almost immediately. There was no dust gathering as I worried about my situation. He was action oriented with the goal of moving to resolution.
4) He was clearly willing to do the work necessary to achieve success, but he also suggested ways to move forward that were less threatening to my employer and allowed me to achieve a satisfactory outcome that was timely, financially beneficial, and wasn't litigious.
5) He used his expert knowledge and experience to assess my situation in a way that allowed me to understand the strengths and weaknesses of my situation and what the most appropriate path forward would be.
6) He consistently checked during the course of our conversation to assess my level of comprehension.
7) He uses great analogies that can make a complicated topic understandable.
8) My situation was resolved rather quickly and did not require significant time. Had we needed to approach the situation in a more aggressive manner, I loved knowing Ari was in my corner and working on my behalf. He was strong, confident and competent in his approach to my case and I have every belief he would have arrived at an even more beneficial resolution to my claims were it necessary to do so.
I give Ari the highest recommendation and strongly encourage you to retain him as your attorney should you find yourself in need of legal representation when dealing with an employment situation. I'm incredibly thankful for his guidance and counsel and you will be too.

6 months ago I was abruptly terminated by my employer after going to my HR department for medical reasons and getting approved for FMLA and reasonable accommodations. There was no doubt in my mind that I was clearly wronged and after making several calls I was eventually referred to Mr. Powell for legal help. Normally I don’t have the self confidence to pursue legal action against anyone or any place and I often end up placing blame on myself even when it clearly wasn’t my fault and I apologize to those who take advantage of me just to save face…
Mr. Powell graciously took interest in my case and gave me the advice I needed and the tools I needed to empower me as I faced the unemployment department to rightfully get compensation for the lost wages for the last few months and has now assisted me with finding another lawyer to continue to fight for justice in my situation. If it weren’t for him, I would have just accepted what happened to me for what it was and blamed myself for it all, and wouldn’t have ended up winning the unemployment benefits hearing.
I can’t thank him enough and I highly recommend him to anyone who is needing a lawyer who is genuine and honest and trustworthy.

I’m beyond grateful and thankful for meeting Mr. Cairone a few years ago. Words truly can’t thank him enough for everything he has helped me with. My husband passed away from a 100% service connected disability and I was at a loss at which direction to go after his passing for legal matters that needed addressed. Being a young widow I feel that many attorneys/lawyers took advantage of me when it came to all I was facing. I met Mr. Cairone in 2016, almost a year after my husband passed, and started opening up to him about the hurdles I was trying to go over with certain legal matters. He took to my story and without question told me to bring all the files to his house so we could go over everything and see how we could approach this case. He was very open, honest, and communicative through the entire process. He never gave up on me. He never took advantage of me. He was the greatest blessing that came into my life and put in so many hours of work on my case with my best interest always at the forefront. We were almost at the four year mark of my husbands passing and he reached out to me saying let’s give this a shot and file a lawsuit against this company. I almost didn’t do it because at this point I was discouraged by all the legal ups and downs I had dealt with to this point through other attorneys. He told me to sleep on it and advise by end of week. After a few conversations with my parents and much contemplation, I felt that if anyone was going to be able to help it would be Mr. Cairone. He worked diligently on the draft for the lawsuit and sent over for my review. I felt that it was above and beyond and an amazing chance to have in this case. The next day he sent me another draft (even though I approved the first haha) and again I was blown away by the thought and detail that went into this revised case that would be submitted. He filed the lawsuit and talked me through what could or couldn’t happen. He said this can take time, like it has to this point. He always kept in contact with me and kept me updated on everything that was going on. A few weeks after the suit was filed he called with a very positive call. He said that it looks like who we filed the lawsuit against wanted to settle out of court. I was blown away but not surprised because I felt the case he submitted was very meticulous with detail and an amazing representation of everything that my husband suffered through. Within a month and half total the case was settled and we won the settlement. The appreciation I have for Mr. Cairone is life changing. I faced many obstacles on my own after my husbands passing. Mr. Cairone 100% changed my life. He has allowed me the opportunity to pick myself up from all that I’ve been trying to rebuild since my husbands passing. And again, he never gave up on me. I can’t recommend Mr.Cairone enough. If I ever run into another legal matter I will contact him without a doubt for advice or representation. Thank you so much Mr. Cairone for changing my life. Let me begin by saying that I had consulted previously with a place I found from googling "top sexual harassment lawyers" that told me I had no case (too bad for them!!). I thought I would give it another shot (believing I truly had a good case), and found Ginger here on Avvo. She gave me such a sense of relief after our first point of contact. Not only did she explain all of my options, including but not limited to the ones where she felt I could rectify my situation without a lawyer, but she did so unbiasedly. I never felt that she was trying to push me in one way or the other, and she made sure I had adequate time to think about any of my steps moving forward. After deciding on pursuing my case, she set up a two hour zoom meeting where she heard every aspect of my story. I never once felt judged, or belittled. I could tell she was thorough in asking me the types of questions in order to get information I wouldn't have even though of mentioning prior. The compilation of events was put together in an extremely professional well-written letter to the harasser. Throughout the time of negotiations, Ginger was always prompt to fill me in with any news, answer any questions I had, and always gave her honest opinion on given situations. Long story short, in about 4-5 months we reached a mutually satisfactory outcome. I could not be happier with her effectiveness and professionalism. As a long term driver and valued employee of Fed Ex freight making over six figures a year who never once took a vacation in over 10 years and has earned yearly safety awards as a safe driver with zero accidents where I would have to drive 648 miles each day awoke one morning not able to return to work and was denied unemployment by my employer and was also denied workers compensation.

I have read all the other reviews and I wish I could give 10 stars. I was with a larger law firm after a very difficult time in my life, and it was all about the money and the fact that they couldn’t make enough so they couldn’t take my case. It was like that saying when God closes a door somewhere he opens a window. It was then I found this incredible law firm and my attorney was Tiffanie Benfer. She walked me through everything. She called me. It was incredibly shocking because attorneys don’t call people. They have other people call you. The whole we will have our people call your people. I could ask a question in an email or text on the weekend and get a call back ON THE WEEKEND! Tiffanie was with her family but took the time to answer my question because I was concerned and scared. She would actually apologize if it took her a few days because she had been in court or have her staff call me to say she’s in court and then she would call me that night after a long day my Attorney would call me on her family time. She didn’t push me to accept settlements or decisions she knew were wrong just to get my case over with. The staff was incredible. It’s like dealing with people who really care about you.. Thank you.
